Maybe Controversial - But I don't think the OffGun Romance Plot was Needed.

First off I think as a newer BL fan this is a must watch, not actually because of the BL elements but because its just a very well done series that goes places I haven't seen BLs dare touch.

What I really liked:
- Most of the characters were morally grey - all are flawed and in the wrong at certain points
- The plot and atmosphere is messy, dark, all over the place at times (this is a good and bad thing, as some things aren't really resolved)
- Gun's acting was AMAZING. You could literally tell the difference between Black and White based on the way he spoke, body language, and facial expressions.
- Actually delves into social/political issues instead of just skirting around things, or mentioning gay marriage once like most BL dramas do. This was truly from the POV of those fighting to make social change.
- Music was poignant and used tastefully
- Female characters are their own people and not just plot devices (Trans character as well - she was not just a caricature or comedic relief)

Room for Improvement:
- Sean is kind of an ass and hard to sympathize with, even with his backstory
- I don't really think the OffGun (SeanWhite) romance was really needed. In fact it felt a bit forced to me. Like we had to do this because it's technically a BL. If their relationship was just a really strong platonic one and they had developed that further, it would have made just as much sense and wouldn't have taken anything away from the story. The actors definitely have chemistry, but I didn't feel like the characters needed it.
- Yok and Dan were the most interesting side characters and yet got so little screen time it was criminal
- Plot points resolved either off screen or not really resolved towards the end - the ending was very rushed. Needed another 1-2 episodes worth of content to feel fully developed.

Overall despite its flaws, it's a must watch for anyone.

Plot? Never heard of her. Chemistry? We got buckets of that!

This drama's selling point is not it's plot. Literally what even is the plot? Debatable. However - when it comes to chemistry/intimacies, this show has it in spades.

Things I didn't like: The plot bc where was it?? Dub/non-con scenes (not surprising for Thai drama but there was so much), completely glossing over sexual identity struggles, weird split between the two main couples which could have easily been woven together and it would have been less jarring.

Things I did like: The chemistry between all four leads is off the charts, specifically BossNoeul. Representations of kinks, safe sex, great kiss scenes, GREAT NC scenes.

Personally I actually enjoyed the last half (FortPeat) more than the first half (BossNoeul) even though I think BossNoeul have slightly better chemistry. I liked that FortPeat's half at least attempted to address sexual and relationship abuse and what that does to a person once they are trying to move on in their lives. However, even this was sloppily done and kind of all over the place.

I'd love to see all four leads in something that actually has a decent plot, because I think they all did a great job with what they had. It just wasn't a lot to work with. This is worth watching for the chemistry between the leads alone. It saved this from being completely unwatchable.

Watch this one if you want to have an emotional rollercoaster. (In a good way!)

This started a little slow for me, but picked up a lot by episode 5 or so. It is beautifully acted and visually pleasing. Mixx is seriously a fantastic actor. He does such a great display of emotion in his facial expressions. I was worried that this was going to be a story about how he always fell short of Torfun, or everyone compared him to Torfun all the time, but it wasn't that. Torfun and Phupha vs Tian and Phupha were completely different relationships and I thought that was very well handled.

The last two episodes put me THROUGH IT. I sobbed so much. So maybe save those if you are not ready to be absolutely wrecked emotionally.

My only real complaint is that I was so freaking starved for physical contact by the last episode that the kiss and the last credit scene was NOT enough. Hopefully this is delivered more in Our Skyy 2.

I'm new to BLs, so this was my first time watching Earth and Mix together. Personally - I didn't have a problem with assuming Earth was late thirties, I would have assumed by looking at him that he was mid thirties. So I didn't have a problem with that. My issue was more that this series was too short - it needed another couple of episodes for the emotions and story to be fully fleshed out.

That being said, it is absolutely worth a watch. None of the acting, even the small parts, is wasted.

Gemini and Fourth (Heart and Li Ming) are the stars of the show, without a doubt, as previous reviews will state. I will watch anything with them in it together at this point. Gemini's acting while only saying a couple of words throughout the entire series was so perfect and I loved to see the portrayal of a character with a disability (though I do wish we had gotten subtitles for more of Heart's sign language). Their story alone would make this show worth watching.

Overall I really enjoyed it, I just felt there was more to tell that didn't fully get developed. But, worth a watch for the GeminiFourth crumbs and ensemble cast nonetheless.

A weird sugar baby hostage situation turned romance with lots of rich people problems

Oof. This was a struggle for me to get through.

The plot is non existent. Basically if any of the characters would have just communicated like normal people, even a little bit, every issue could have been solved in a single episode, maybe two. But the "plot" relies on the characters to adamantly refuse to talk to each other, and instead to lie and dodge questions. Any other "problems" are literally just rich people problems which are hard to sympathize with. Oh no, I can't ride my Ducati bike because my arranged marriage partner (that won't even be legal? why did the elders even arrange this?) doesn't want me to.

The relationship dynamics here for two of the main CPs are...kind of gross. Both of the main couples (Kuea/Lian and Yi/Khondiao) have the same weird dynamic of two rich dudes pursuing two younger submissive men who are somewhat trapped (both reasons are stupid) into these relationships.

Kuea and Khondiao are comically naive at times, and other times seem to get out of their weirdly submissive Hia-pleasing but quickly go back. Both are constantly infantilized by their Hias by being called "naughty" copious times, being controlled and not trusted to do literally anything on their own. Even to chop up eggs?!

Somewhat of a saving grace is the chemistry, mainly between Zee and Nunew, but it wasn't enough for me. Kissing scenes are sometimes so gratuitously long that I got bored, which I didn't think I'd ever say with a BL. After the first 3-4 make out scenes, there was no range to them, it was the same scene over and over.

Consent was muddy sometimes - Kuea said no or stop to Lian multiple times and was ignored. Though it seemed playful it still gave me the ick. There were multiple scenes where Lian was pushing him to have sex and he did not seem willing at first. No thanks.

Syn and Nuer were the only relief from the toxic relationship drama - the soccer scene finally got a laugh out of me. This couple should have got infinitely more screen time to lighten things up. I got to the point in the last few eps where I was skipping by ten seconds because I was so bored of the characters lying or avoiding each other just to pad out the episodes.

I don't think it was any of the actor's fault that this show was such a disappointment, they did what they could with some extremely shallow and problematic characters.
