Asian Movies from the 90s - Late 2000s

This list is basically my search on finding well-rounded and worth watching movies from the 90s to the Mid 2000s. From a non-asian stand point and as an international fan, I wanted to look at the oldies of asian films, which would have inspired the current generation of actors/actresses. Since films do reflect their time period, I was pleasantly surprised to find some new content which differs from the now modern asian movie cliches. And to look at the pre "hallyu wave" which has more human looking actors/actresses and less glits and glamour. Here is my version of the asian movie "classics" Everything is from oldest - newest (Some of them I haven't finished, or am planning to watch, also all are on kissasian)
