My first experience of seeing anything foreign after TV arrived in Australia, was the series 'The Samurai' (in black & white) As a kid, I was mezmorised by the  culture and language of a country other than my own & never lost that love and fascination of Japan. These days I am addicted to historical dramas of other countries and have seen some epic and entertaining films with fabulous costumes, interesting cultures and history
