  • Hospital Playlist

    2. Hospital Playlist

    Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes

Hospital Playlist - Stars Jung Kyung-Ho, Jo Jung-Suk, Jeon Mi-Do, Yoo Yeon-Seok and Kim Dae-Myung in main roles. It's a drama about five friends who have been together ever since their medical college days and currently working together in the same hospital and a part of a band. The friendships and individual struggles have been portrayed really nicely. Love the side romances and the side characters as well. Jo Jung-Suk and his kid's relationship is the most beautiful one. Another masterpiece by Shin Won-Ho and Lee Woo-Jung.  - u/Fatooz

  • Prison Playbook

    3. Prison Playbook

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

Prison Playbook - About a group of "criminals" who are cellmates and "living" together leads to them forming amazing bonds with each other. Now they're like a family, together in sadness and happiness. The comic timing is awesome and I just loved bromance. There was so much to laugh at in every episode but surprisingly it also taught you something new.  - u/Fatooz

  • Reply 1988

    4. Reply 1988

    Korean Drama - 2015, 20 episodes

Reply 1988 - It's about a group of families living in the same neighborhood, their friendships and also about different families. Loved how the drama focused on all age and types of friendships and how there was also focus on different kinds of families. The main group of friends will give you squad goals and just how they were always together for each other was heartwarming to watch. There's comedy, romance, family and friendships. A top-tier drama in my opinion. - u/Fatooz

  • Age of Youth

    5. Age of Youth

    Korean Drama - 2016, 12 episodes

Age of Youth - Five girls come to live together at Belle Epoque, all with a hidden past and struggle. As they live together, they learn to adapt to each other’s habits and form a bond that is to stay lifelong. Each of them went through an event and they all had each other’s backs whenever one wen through something. I adored the female friendships and highly recommend it for that aspect. It does tend to fall towards some darker themes but regardless it’s a good drama for its slice of life aspects. - u/Fatooz

  • Be Melodramatic

    6. Be Melodramatic

    Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

Be Melodramatic - Three best friends come to live together in order to support each other and be there for each other, whilst they deal with their own struggles. One is an aspiring screenwriter; another is working at an advertising agency and another is a documentary maker. As each one of them go through their individual struggles, they also find each other comforting the other and being a life support system. I would recommend this for its smart writing, PPLs, female friendships and some wholesome side characters. - u/Fatooz

Loved the chemistry between Seo Hyun-Jin and Yoo Yeon-Seok, the bromance or teacher-student relationships were also really heartwarming. Highly recommend the first season, from mystery to romance to comradeship, everything was portrayed beautifully.  - u/Fatooz
