Favorite and promising actors/actresses
My favorite mainly Korean and Chinese actresses! ❤️
-
Ni Ni
Chinois
Loved to watch her in The Rise of Phoenixes and Love and Destiny, in two very different roles. In TROP her performance as Fang Zhi Wei was very intricate and meticulous, it impressed me quite a bit!
-
Yang Mi
Chinois
From someone who read the novel, she was perfect as Bai Qian in Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. Also, she usually has phenomenal chemistry with her male co-stars, which makes for very believable and intense love stories. Makes the viewer forget it’s just a drama :)

Mark Chao

I haven’t watched many of his roles, only a movie and a drama but He made Ye Hua so believably real in Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms. He brought that character to life! Beautiful performance, that made me believe he was not acting whatsoever, he was living his role!
-
Chen Kun
Chinois
He is just a very experienced and talented actor overall. I loved him in the role of Ning Yi in The Rise of Phoenixes
-
Peng Xiao Ran
Chinois
A very, very promising actress. Her role in Goodbye My Princess brought me to tears as I felt her pain in all of the tragic scenes.
-
Chen Xing Xu
Chinois
A promising actor. Although I watched him in other roles, it was in Goodbye My Princess that his acting as Li Cheng Yi caught my attention along with his female co-star’s. A truly beautiful performance
-
Li Qin
Chinois
Another promising actress. I watched a little bit of her in Joy of life (even though I haven’t finished watching the drama, as I am waiting for the second season to come out first), in Song of Glory and in The Wolf. She was so bright in all of her roles. Her role in The wolf impressed me the most, I’ll be looking forward to her future roles!
-
IU
Sud-coréen
Her performances are beautiful. She truely is an artist of many talents (even though I’m not into Kpop myself). I remember that I watched Scarlet heart ryeo (which was my first kdrama) because I watched a clip of her last scene in the drama, which randomly poped up when I was on youtube. She looked so beautiful, so sad, so broken... I couldn’t take my eyes away! I had to watch the drama! And damn.... I cried so much and for so long that all the next dramas I watched in a while had to be rom-coms. XD
-
Lee Joon Gi
Sud-coréen
Another experienced and talented actor. Has played an array of different roles and I seem to like him in every one of them. The one role of his that I will never forget is as Wang So in Scarlet Heart, as this was the first Kdrama I ever watched. I remember how much I cried when I saw him screaming in agony in that last episode...
-
Ji Chang Wook
Sud-coréen
I’ve seen him play a multitude of roles but none impressed me as much as the charismatic cowardly prince/emperor on Empress Qi. Amazing performance. I’m a fan of a lot of his other works as well.
-
Jung So Min
Sud-coréen
I’ve watched quite a few dramas with her and I feel like she is always great in her roles!
-
Zhao Yi Qin
Chinois
A promising young actor. Watched him in My Girl and Fake Princess. Even though both dramas were not out of this world amazing, his acting definitely surprised me in a good way and made both dramas quite enjoyable to me.

Ryan Ding
Chinois
Another promising young actor. A few of his scenes in Intense Love and The Romance of Tiger and Rose impressed me, but I think he can and will improve in his future projects. Will be looking out for his next dramas.
-
Alice Ke
Taïwanais
She was so impressive in her 2 roles in Someday or one day that just by looking at her posture we could tell which of the two characters she was playing. Very impressive indeed!

Li Hong Yi

A promising young actor that can still improve but shows talent. Looking forward to his next projects.

His performances in Legend of Fuyao and in Fated to Love You blew me away. Amazing acting
