Weird Dramas

Mostly supernatural. Mostly funny. Mostly Japanese.

What all these dramas have in common is that most of the time they made me go "....wait.... what??".  This is not necessarily a list of my favorite dramas and not all of them are hidden gems (or even all that good) but what they have in common is the kind of creativity that I appreciate a LOT.

Some of the things you can expect here:

• a guy who is bullied by a deer into saving Japan
• a frying pan as a menacing weapon
• a guy (?) called sister who dresses like a nun and is in love with a woman called Maria who raises kettle
• a government agency that takes care of the dead and another that catches zombies
• a school nurse fighting bad vibes
• Jesus and Buddha as roommates
