Notes:  Many sexual tension moments that did not make my heart flutter.  ML messing w/FL totally hilarious/enjoyable.(at wedding he feeds her which she hates).  This hate flirting should have been main focus of story.  Age difference of characters ML 26 & FL 35 not too bothersome.

---1st Kiss - end ep 1.  ML initiates at office while FL sitting in office chair.  She didn't resist.

Notes:   FL character a complete moron. Does anyone really ask for a guide on how to kiss?  FL blows off & even gets angry w/ the guy (I thought at least a friend) who is trying to tell her that her crush is a sexual predator.  Did like that there was a scene showing FL putting all the clues together relizing how much of a dumbass she is.  Nothing dirty shown, all verbal & inuendo.  Since Youtube video not sure I got to see all of movie.  FL actress only one I did not like.

--- First kiss trip fall lips on lips, 2nd kiss at end.  Good amount of munching.

Ending - The good guy comes to her rescue FL so sex predator is stopped.  Final scene leads are kissing behind the sheets at the orphanage. Tubi had missing footage.

Notes:   Acting was not great, but liked the ML's voice if that was his.  This version super choppy.  Probably should have watched on Tubi.  Cute humor....ML is asked to find his sexy charisma for the band pics & he says that's not really his vibe.  SF7?

Ending - FL decides to quit job & try dancing again.  BTS fans track down bad guy for 2nd couple.  FL2 manages SF7 now.  ML quits idol group & continues his Youtube channel w/ 3 M viewers.

Notes:   Mostly just a bunch of cat pics/videos strung together.  Was mostly sad since many crossed over the "Rainbow bridge."  What seemed odd was the men making the documentary seemed disconnected from the love of cats emotions. It felt more like the cats were a means to benefit the authors' careers.

Notes:   Felt like story was missing sooo many pieces like the time to see FL's journey to liking the bad boy.  In this version:  FL a bit more into ML2, FL looked like a boy, & ML is the drama version's ML2.  ML2 had his shirt off at school a lot.  FL a bit more eccentric / brazen.

Ending - FL has to choose a dress aka 1 of the 2 guys.  She ends up picking her jeans & white shirt & the bad boy.  Rui has a plane ticket to go see his love.

Notes:   The dancing, the friendships, the characters (all so different), subtle humor, very little angst & no love triangle bullshit only a well-placed hint of a triangle.  Loved the dog leading the charge for getting the girls running.  Loved the hip hop grunge look on the lead girls.  All the girls styled in a less sexualized way, it made me feel good.  Tossing the girl up in the air like a real cheer squad at the end a bit far fetched.

Ending - Boys win their last soccer game.  FL goes to Seoul & passes the audition, but she returns to the cheer team.  During credit roll 3 lead girls buy tickets to Seoul & ML has missed his chance to confess his love at the bus depot again.

Notes:  {English Dubbed}   Story lackluster.  Needed a stronger bromance storyline.  Mr.  Ma only good thing about movie.  Did like fight where ML2 egged ML to fight, but got knocked out immediately.  ML asked ML2 what sport as an athlete did he play.  ML2 replies Ping Pong.  Mr. Ma had 3 colors of hair, Red, then black, then gray.

Ending - Both leads arrested.  In jail 4 years?  Dr is scouted for another non-legit practice & buddy shows up.  Final scene them walking down street with Mr. Ma asking Dr. to be part of a new scheme.

Notes:   Surprisingly realistic depiction of relationship emotions/events. The ML is sooo obsessed w/ FL.  Wanted to believe he could grow up, but as FL said he needs fixing.  Leads have 2 make out scenes & 1 bed scene that looked very good.  The kissing was voracious.  Kinda mad at FL for sleeping w/ML when she has a fiancee & knows full well her ex is a bit psycho...but then again closure can be messy especially if love isn't the relationship issue.  Real life couple & break up.

Ending - FL goes back to New York single.

Notes:   This one featured Ohki, who I like even more now.  The actor's portrayal of this character is phenomenal! Ohki seemed confident so I truly thought he would defeat the war general.  Some of the unimportant scenes were a bit too long.  The horse-riding scene with Ohki & Shin is eye candy for gay men everywhere.  Liked the weapons too.

Ending - Bito dies, Ohki dies.  Men return home having saved their city, but at a cost.  They were outnumbered & out strategized. Movie 5?

Notes:  The FL was hard to like due to her immaturity & selfishness.  She seemed like a spoiled brat, but why such a closet bitch?  ML, HS boy who is totally smitten by her is totally likable, same w/ FL2 (smart outspoken girl).  ML2 (ex-gangster) might not be a good choice for smart outspoken girl....his anger mgmt issues are a red flag.  I had forgotten ML2 involved in night club scandal...those red flags were for real!  Music was all American songs (1970's).  Loved them.

--- 1st kiss ML on FL's cheek.  Ep. 8 2nd ML kisses her eye, forehead & nose.

Ending - ML3 starts liking FL & confesses, but FL now likes ML (smitten geek) so she turns him down & he is alone.  Geek boy & Immature girl become couple.  Cheating live in maid leaves.  Outspoken girl & ex-gangster leave together for a new start somewhere else.

Notes:  The writer really knows what they are doing!  Acting was very good, but chemistry felt t just so so.  However, that hug in the phonebooth radiated warmth out to me.  FL letting her Aunt off the hook so easily pissed me off/frustrated me.  Aunt looked too old for ML's BF.  Aunt & ML's BF had 1 kiss which looked the same as lead's kiss. With only 4 eps mysteries were paced out well (ML was at FL's house 10 yrs ago, Cop is the murderer, ML's BF saw villain at scene 10 years ago)

--- 1 kiss at end.  ML goes in for a strong grab you kiss.  FL doesn't respond, but looks like she thought about responding/kinda liked it.

Ending - FL, villain & ML all in fire together.  ML goes to save murderer.  Writers tried to trick us into thinking he is dead, but he lives. Drama stronger w/ML death at end?  Villain goes to jail.

Notes:  Odd pairing of comedy & serious crime mystery. Serial killer that rapes & kills woman story arc w/comical scenes from ML's parents who are thieves.  It felt like it didn't work well together.  The bathroom fencing scene made me laugh.  FL undercover & dances in a bathing suit, she has a beautiful physique.  Why did no one tell ML he had passed the exam already & his mom messed w/the scores?

-- 1st kiss ML to FL. A warm-hearted boyfriend girlfriend kiss across the table.  2nd - FL get's kissed by her undercover partner (she's stone faced) 3rd -FL & ML it had some steam to it.   

Ending - ML's parents opted for jail, but got to attend son's wedding 4 years later.  ML a police officer.

Notes:  Not funny.  Yelling, demeaning behaviors, repetitious scenes. ML's character wimpy, sullen mostly expressionless & has panic attacks.  Then revengeful.  All the sudden he can be a bad ass when intern gets kidnapped?  He can be cute watching an intern eat ramen samples at grocery store?  More of that dynamic would have been better. ML2, old intern I disliked from beginning & he could never redeem himself w/me.  I felt like i was being punished watching him.  Surprised that female executive was a villain & old Intern + daughter work together. 2 Interns relationship had to grow on me, she looked to old for him at first.

---1 Kiss FL to ML when she is drunk.  ML no reciprocation.

Ending:   Intern couple together, executive villain in jail, All interns' jobs safe.  CEO son & ML asked to be joint Directors, but ML resigns.  FF 2 yrs.  Old intern & daughter contracts ended no renewal...but then daughter gets offer from co. that just let her go.  Old Intern & ML end up back at the co. that let them go.  Female excutive got asked to come back to co. by CEO who still loves her (that's messed up!)

Notes:   The fighting scenes were pretty good. I must be a romance addict because I wanted King's betrothed sister & her fiancée from neighboring territory to fall for each other.  Who did wife love?  That umbrella of blades was stunning still or in motion.  Did not get the feelz from wife & ML.

--- 1 very hungry kiss between wife & ML equally dished out. 

Ending:  ML (the kidnapped boy), Sleeps w/his master's wife, finishes off his master + the king & stages it as if they killed each other.  King's sister & her fiancée killed in battle.  First & last scene are the same.  Wife at the door to castle looking out contemplating her next move.

Notes:   The fighting scenes were plentiful but many were over the top & looked fake.  Loved the hidden city story arc & the twist I never saw coming (pregnant girl is an enemy spy), but the story was lack luster as well as the characters.  Scenery was very interesting (boat, boat dock, hidden city exterior, storm in the air).  Chen Kun did an amazing job w/the two doppelgänger roles, they felt like very different people.

Ending:   Corrupt royal parties defeated by rag tag team of treasure hunters.  FL loner assassin left, ML (FL's crush) leaves to find her.  Doppelgänger plans to enter palace w/his identical face & female tribal leader attaches to him.  A couple others stay behind at hidden city that the 2nd sandstorm has reclaimed.  The band of treasure hunters did make it out in time w/a carpet full of loot.

Notes:   The fighting scenes were plentiful & interesting.  Seemed like the "Jackie Chan formula of movies.  Story not strong.  Really liked young boy character/actor.  His kung fu was good & would have liked a few more scenes w/him.  Loved that the female characters were all bad-ass.

--- 1 kiss at end on the tower - FL goes for it.

Ending:  Leads get married after being rescued / swept away by helicopter that friends were piloting.  Cop friend & Japanese translator become a couple.

Notes:    Forgot..I had dropped it in 2022.  Funny thing I saw Bong Tae Kyu in a movie right before this one.  He plays a horn dog male character in both.  Liked the idea of fate as a theme.

--- ML2 & girlfriend have a kiss montage - both doing the work.

Ending :   ML's crush marries ML's brother's friend.  ML runs into cemetery girl at bar & firm alarm goes off & they end up under her umbrella.  Unemotionally attached ML2 who was dumped realizes he loves his ex after she disappears/goes abroad.  6 mos later they run into each other at a cafe & he has grown emotionally so they catch up.

Notes:    Total waste of time.  Many sex scenes.  ML w/ wife & mistress.  FL w/ weird high school drop out.  The crumbling of a marriage never seems like a good plot to me.  Death of the young son was disturbing (tossed off a bldg by ML's nutcase client) & surprising.  

Ending - FL who had to adopt due to infertility was pregnant.  ML visits her & she tells him he is out of the picture.  Both are now happy.

Notes:    Total waste of time & the sex scenes show a male being way too vigorous with the FL.  Spent the whole time wondering how FL got her limp, it was never explained.  Absolutely no story & acting was subpar.  I question the reason for making this movie.  Subtitles are about 10 - 20 secs off...totally annoying. In HS Older brother dies falling in empty pool after accusing brother of liking same girl as him.

Notes:    Visually stunning!!!  Story not so good.  Narrator at beginning made me think story would be cohesive, nope.  I struggled to follow it.  Brother loved sister in an incest kinda way?  FL had lost herself & was no longer a good person?  She loved the prince & both the Emperor's she was forced to accept?  Qing was romantically raped (Prince envisioned her as the Empress & took out his hormonal frustrations) A few brief backside nudity shots - FL.  Same age as "The Curse of the Golden Flower" but seems more current/ has held up better.

--- No kissing..that I remember.

Ending - Open. Emperor kills himself by drinking poison, Prince dies saving Empress from the General's poison sword, the General dies, the General's dad sent to the Noth.  Final scene Empress killed w/a sword & the sword is dropped in an exterior cement fishbowl.  Who killed her?

Notes:    Visually stunning!!!  Story not so good.  Twists:  Youngest prince kills oldest, Father kills youngest prince, King's 1st wife is alive (but not for long), eldest Prince finds out his girlfriend is his sister (or 1/2 sister..not sure who her dad is), & King was going to give throne to middle Prince after festival (Irony..Prince didn't need to rebel).  Wasn't quite clear on King's motive to kill all...maybe just a megalomaniac.  Movie feels older than it is, not sure why?

---No Kissing

Ending - King assassinates 1st wife & her daughter.  Middle Prince loses rebellion & slashes his throat.  Final scene Queen tosses medicine & it lands on metal turning it black (indicating poison).

Notes:    Action movies all pretty cookie cutter.  Seeing Yoo Ah In as drug using rich son of a chairman a bit sad knowing he truly has a drug problem in real life.  Being used by rich guy friend- the drug/rape of the starlet at the party sent chills down my spine due to Lee Seun Gi's scandal.  Mr. Ma's cameo was a delight!  Blue pit pull scenes melted my heart & had to tell myself ML2 is hitting a pillow, not a dog.  Humorous moment when Chief, ML & ML's boss, all veteran officers competed for worst scar.

Ending - Villain was caught by detective/the police team & prosecuted.  Final scene coma dad was waking up.

Notes:    Actors very likable, but story a bit generic.  Liked her w/both guys.  ML2 crying w/food in his mouth totally got to me.  Liked the song male BF wrote & the voices of the leads singing it together.  Black dog in a lot of the scenes, but it wasn't very endearing.

--- Leads 1 okay kiss at end

Ending:  ML goes abroad & they stay a couple for many years & then just fade off.  However, w/ no breakup  ....when ML returns for FL's friend's wedding they rekindle their relationship.

Notes:    Cerebral type movie.  ML has relationship with OCD/ ill girl.  He emotionally cheats on her due to his tiredness.  Her mental state makes me think does she really need to have a boyfriend?  If so, why isn't a psychiatrist part of her health plan.  She angered me w/her behavior, but also felt sympathy for her when she gave her wish to ML & cried saying she could change.  ML tosses his cookies when he sees ash being put into his food/drink, seemed excessive.  Fetus in tomato visual a bit creepy!  Loved the photos from photographer.  Shot in head scenes reminded me of "Death's Game."  Theme appears to be the grass isn't always greener on the other side.  I also thought are these his only choices?  ML has a type....broken. Rabbit on coat & on shoulder as tattoo...significance?  ML didn't forget anything like Chia Chi asked?  How come he got to pick 2x?

--- 1 bed scene | No kissing

Ending:   ML shot in dream & wakes up w/FL #?  We think he picks Cai Chi & is happy, but ML's hand is placed on FL's pregnant belly & then he seems upset, so most likely he lost his choice & ended up w/pregnant Photographer.

(Prime Video)       Total Duration:  2 hrs       

Notes:    ML brought a bit of humor.  The story unfolds along w/ the detective & w/flashback scenes.  No surprise king poisoned & family set up to take fall.  Liked the time gap so younger traitors now old men, but it did make it harder for me to understand who was who/did what.  Loved the Pagoda on the lily pond w/ willow tree in back.  Darkness a bit too dark...couldn't see action.  Lee Min Ki super-hot as vampire! Kim Bum almost unrecognizable as a thug.

Ending:   FL kills guard turned vampire villain.  FL becomes a full fledge vampire & lets herself die in sunlight, but we see her reuniting w/ her husband & son in afterlife.  King saves detective by letting all believe he is dead.

Notes:  ML & Je ..what's their history/story?  Wanted to kick Peng's teeth in...asking a guy in the hospital to finish the job.  Exploitation always baffles me, especially in real life.  Romance story could be just friendship.  ML needs help...he is intentionally harming himself to see Dr.  If they like each other why not meet 1x per mo. at a cafe?  ML w/ shirt off, loved the reality of his body type, seemed more like everyday people.

Notes:  The six stories were interesting, especially since it shows Chinese culture.  The fireworks at end in different cities was pretty.  The warmth of goodness felt at the end filled my heart. The little bits of humor were cute...lonely lizard owners find each other, monkey wears bra, & little boy swung around on wires for concert. Hot guy in boxers for a few scenes a treat.

Ending:   4 student age kids end up w/parents & aren't repulsed.  Singer makes it to the birth of his baby at hospital.  Cops have soup w/criminal + grandma, then make it back to their families.  Rich guy offers poor guy job + whole train becomes friends.  Fighting family break dad out of hospital & find their family spirit.  Hot guy proposes to girlfriend after the fire.

Notes:  HS classmates become brother sister on the day they are going to confess.  Now they have find new partners.  Didn't matter to me who ended up w/who, they all seemed like good fits.

Notes:  Long irrelevant uninteresting & repeated dialogue scenes.  Soo many feet walking, coat putting on, & face close up long scenes. Story very choppy.  Leads - chemistry pretty good. 2nd couple gave me the ick feeling.  Auntie looked like 40's & butler's son looks 18 also Auntie seems a bit too aggressive with him. They kiss ep18.  13th Master & ML my fav characters. ML's acting very good.   FL very pretty & acting was okay. The outfits & scenery were amazingly beautiful. Music loud & in your face playing constantly.  My biggest questions:  Why was lead's relationship so bad at beginning?  Why did leads have to be apart...ML's twin a cheater. Were FL & coma twin in a contract relationship?  

---1st Kiss - ep 2 - FL on cheek 2x at wedding then ML goes for it.  2nd - ep 17 - FL at her bar.  Good munching & reciprocation. 

Ending:   Characters form a team & take down the drug ring.  Final scene all are in hospital & they are asked to take down an even bigger drug ring.  We see the boss report to a bigger boss who the team is not aware of so sequel is possible.

(Netflix)        Avg Dur: 68 min          Total Time:  13 hrs 36 min            

Notes:  Very confusing at first, but story unfolds w/tidbits trough out.  Kinda wished the FL as undiscovered 406 storyline was a larger portion of whole drama.....stringing us along only to discover it's the FL could have been epic.  Craved more sexual tension/humor because chemistry was totally there.  Glad ML2 never a love rival (history of crush only), & that FL's sister was a helper not a hinderer. Tons of quoteworthy lines.  Most surprises were not a surprise....undermining assistant, car accident killer, Se on not blood related, evil boy alive/threatening, grandpa kills evil grandson.  Some total surprises - leads that cold even knowing each other/liking each other that long?  Stepdaughter kills grandpa.  Thought villain actor very good w/ immaturity & tics angle.  Music was good.  Yoo Yeon Seok sings "Say My Name."

---1st kiss - ep 5 slip & fall lips on lips - FL on ML.  ep 7 on tower ML initiates FL responsive. 3 successive.  Got the feelz!  Bed scene in final ep. Ate up ML telling FL to cooperate so they could work on a noisy home.

Ending:   Villain tells ML his dad ordered car accident that killed FL's bro, caused sis to be deaf & FL to be mute, so ML disappears. 6 mos later FL tracks him down.  They marry.  2nd couple engaged.  ML hires ex-evil assistant again.  Only deaths are villain & grandpa.  Odd for killer drama?

Notes:  Loved the Teen character actors.  Chemistry very good.  ML's cry session outside FL's window broke my heart + his visit at hospital after her parent's death. Chemistry w/adults good.  Adult FL's facial expressions get super weird towards end.  Laughed a lot all throughout.  Old folks love adorable.  Yoon Park cameo Yaaaazzzz!  The little tidbits/surprises given throughout (the wedding at 6 years old, grandma, ML's hospital visits, FL's rainy-day encounter at age 5, students' dads, etc.).  ML's dad & FL's grandpa seemed the same age...threw me off.  ML2 didn't really have a strong purpose/story.  ML wears a suit & dress shoes hiking?  

---1st Kiss - (Teen leads) ep 3 - ML initiates w/some perceived munchies.  FL no reciprocation.
---1st kiss (adults) ep 6 - ML initiates.  Actors w/Just lips on lips.   

Ending:  Leads engaged.  ML goes on work trip for 1 month, but returns on 1st snow of season & meets FL at lock site to give her a knitted red scarf.

Notes:  Didn't find the music or stories that enjoyable.  The stories skipped around & made no sese to me. Grandma rubbing ML's tummy disturbed me.  The twist at the end, ML's voice & scenery were only the only things I liked. I did tear up at the end as ML sings w/friend in his mind.  

Ending:   ML says goodbye to his friend who died in a bicycle/truck accident while revisiting their hometown.

Notes:  Acting and story execution were not good.  Frustrated me because plot idea was sooo interesting.  The chemistry seemed forced.  ML2 smaller than FL.  FL very pretty.  A bit confused if ML was a ghost or just stuck in time?

Ending:   Class president & his dad the principal stuck ML in 3.5th period.  Clock that created manipulated time was destroyed by evil principal.  ML stuck in time, but students gathered their watches to bring him back.  Last scene a male student (ML2?) picks up 1 of the remaining rubber watches from the grass that was left behind.  Sequel?  Opening scene FL standing in dark school hallway asking a boy who he is....which is never addressed.

Notes:  SAD.  Cried!  There was subtle comedy when 2 girls begin getting to know each other. ML did not know he got married?   The ring given by Korean girl to help Japanese girl melted my heart. Friends or lovers is up to interpretation...flower rings.

Ending:   Korean knocks out officer w/bottle & then he comes after her, letting Japanese girl escape.  Korean girl shot/killed in crossfire of the 2 sides.  Final scene Japanese girl now very old remembering her friend as she is visited by her daughter.

Notes:  Acting from FL made emotions felt.  Liked ML's attitude & loved the white lamb costume.  Cute to see ML teaching FL the dance routine for the costume job.

Ending:   sisters playing in water at beach.

Notes:  Acting was good, but story was a bit too hard to follow.  Had to look up Sage King definition.  Not BL or bromance however 1 sentence used by Yi San to friend could have been seen that way...however history proves he loved/married a court maid (The Red Sleeve). 

Ending:  Sad.  Yi San had friend killed in order to get annals & fulfil feilal piety duties to his family.

Notes:  the story was okay, but it just seemed to be missing something.  The obsessed girl fan was the most interesting part of story. Handsome's face gave me Michael Jackson vibes a couple of times."

Ending:   ML learns to accept not all dreams come true & stops trying to be a dancer / becomes a dance teacher to fellow band mate's young K-pop group that he manages.  Handsome was found on vacation & left band due to sick mom/scamming dad.

Notes:  Acting was good except the FL's cry session w/her dad....sounded very fake. Liked the actors & chemistry was okay.  ML's ex pretty.  FL's older woman co-worker reminded me of Emma Thompson.  The dad would leave his daughter like that??? Unrealistic or are humans just that crazy? Found this drama to be on the boring side.

Ending:   Dad in nursing home for Parkinson's.  ML takes FL for a segway tour.
