Dramas where I was more invested in the Secondary Love plots

There are always those dramas where the secondary couples make you keep watching the show. Mind you, this is not a list of second male or female leads, but of secondary couples.

Lee Bo Na and Chan Young for the win! Their love story felt real, like how actual teenager couples behave.  I have frequently rewatched their scenes. They always make me smile and wish I had a  boyfriend like Chan Young when I was that age.

Kim Ji Suk caught my eye in this one. While I did not like the FL opposite him too much (she was way too whacky), he managed to tread the line between being the comedic relief yet likeable.  He is quite good looking too. I have to admit, this secondary romance plot had some taboo vibes to it. They had seen each other as brother and sister since young (though not blood related), and ended up sleeping together under the influence of alcohol and getting pregnant. It also had major age gap: younger guy (early 30s) and older woman (mid-40s) and frankly the female lead looked much older next to him too.

Yet, this story worked for me due to Kim Ji Suk's portrayal. In the last 3 episodes of this series, I had given up on the main couple. I just fast forwarded to Kim Ji Suk scenes.
