  • Again My Life

    1. Again My Life

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    7.5

It took me a bit to get into this drama but as soon as I did, I loved it. The ML is quite cool and Joon Gi portrays another action-prone character (well, he is talented in that field). I like the way that the revenge goes and how the rule of law is established and corruption combatted. I recommend this time-travelling revenge drama to those who usually like such tropes. A solid 7.5/10.

  • Be Reborn

    2. Be Reborn

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 26 episodes

    YOUKU. Seems interesting.

  • From Now On, Showtime!

    3. From Now On, Showtime!

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    6.5

It's a mediocre fantasy drama combined with comedy, romance and darkness. It is enjoyable but not a masterpiece. But, tbh, not every drama has to be a masterpiece. I still recommend this one if you like fantasy and police work combined. Or if you need a filler drama that is maybe a bit different from what you usually consume.

  • Glory of the Special Forces

    4. Glory of the Special Forces

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 45 episodes

YOUHUG MEDIA. Seems like my type of drama.

  • Love All Play

    5. Love All Play

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    7.0

I watched the first 10 eps in one go; however, then I lost almost all motivation to continue. Every now and then I thought about picking the drama back up but I was too annoyed with Taeyang constantly crying, everyone neglecting Taejun and Junyoung just being a bitch. Well, after a very long break from the drama, I picked it back up and finished it within 3 days. Well, it got better. It still wasn't a perfect dramas and there are a few things that could have been done better but I'd still give a 7/10. The sports aspect fell a bit short, I was wishing for more. And everyone had a redemption arc where they improved their character (apart from Taejun who was an angel from the beginning, and apart from the national trainer lol). Anyway, I'd recommend this drama to those who like romance coupled with sports and who do not shy away from lots of drama, I'd call it a melodrama. I am happy that I didn't drop it, but I wouldn't put it on my 'Top Ten Kdrama' List.

  • Ghost

    6. Ghost

    Korean Drama - 2022, 6 episodes

    6.0

If you watch "Monstrous" just for entertainment and not for characters, then this should work fine for you. "Monstrous" was not quite successful in building the characters (apart from the leads) and rushed through important bits but then dragged unnecessary scenes. I do believe that this could have been a quality drama if they would have engaged more with the other characters and maybe addressed the supernatural part a bit more. I reckon the story would have also worked well as a film. However, as a short drama (6 eps à  35 minutes), it did not quite reach my expectations. I guess after watching "Exhuma" this felt quite dull. Nonetheless, it is entertaining and the plot is interesting. The drama ended with a scene allowing for a sequel, though there have not been any news yet. I rate this a 6/10; however, I would still be down for a second season.

  • My Liberation Notes

    7. My Liberation Notes

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    8.5

My Liberation Notes is a high-quality drama that, I believe, everyone can identify themselves with. It spoke to me and my feelings, in the past and the present, in ways that most dramas cannot. It is a slow-burn story so if you want to watch this, brace yourself for that. If you expect a fast-paced rom-com, then you should skip this drama. It is not all happy and rainbows and unicorns (or however you say that). It is a serious, heavy drama, which deserves all the praise.

  • Sh**ting Stars

    8. Sh**ting Stars

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    7.5

A hilarious drama with a good love/hate relationship and decent banter. The leads are quite funny and their chemistry is amazing. Maybe the drama wouldn't have needed 16 episodes but they were still fun to watch. I'd say it's deffo a good filler drama. If you like good rom-coms you might want to watch this one.

  • Feng Qi Long Xi

    9. Feng Qi Long Xi

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 24 episodes

Viki. Seems interesting and the drama received good feedback.

  • Tomorrow

    10. Tomorrow

    Korean Drama - 2022, 16 episodes

    8.5

This one got me quite emotional. I rarely cry (apart from scenes where animals die) but this one got me feeling all the feels. It shows the trash of humanity and the victims of society. I recommend this drama to anyone who doesn't mind feeling very emotional and who wants to watch a high-quality drama about grim reapers.

  • Try the World

    11. Try the World

    Chinese Drama - 2022, 40 episodes

    8.0

It's a good drama, which showcased both Lusi and Yang Yang's acting. Their chemistry is really good and I like the main lead's dynamic. The plot is interesting as well and I found myself binging through this drama. There were some aspects of the plot that I found unnecessary but I can overlook that. If you like Wuxia dramas, give this a try. And if you haven't watched a Wuxia yet, then this one is a good introduction.
