When Ayumi Mastuda (Eiko Koike) worked as a freelance writer she met Chinese cameraman Xiaoxuan Fan (Kingone Wang), who worked at the same publishing company in Tokyo. They married 5 years ago. After his employer's went bankrupt, Xiaoxuan Fan and Ayumi Matsuda moved to Ishigaki Island. Xiaoxuan Fan also decided to apply for naturalization as a Japanese citizen. In order to prove they are real married couple they have an interview at a local Bureau of Judicial Affiars branch. As the interview goes along, they find it more difficult than expected ...
The plot follows Princess Turandot, who is cursed by a mysterious power emanating from three Mazovian bracelets that were given to her as birthday gifts. These bracelets’ life-draining effects cause the princess to become cruel, and gradually lose her humanity.

After returning to his hometown, Aga comes across an undeliverable piece of mail that was supposed to be returned to the sender; the daughter of the now-deceased Japanese teacher has decided to mail the unsent love letters to Taiwan after discovering them. Aga unlawfully keeps and opens the package to discover its contents, but the old Japanese-style address Cape No. 7, Koushun District, Takao Prefecture can no longer be found.
Meantime a local resort hotel inside nearby Kenting National Park is organizing a beach concert featuring Japanese pop singer Kousuke Atari, but Aga's stepfather makes use of his official position to insist that the opening band be composed of locals. Tomoko, an over-the-hill Mandarin-speaking Japanese fashion model dispatched to Hengchun, is assigned the difficult task of managing this hastily assembled band, led by Aga along with six other locals of rather particular backgrounds.

Ichikawa plays the part of Azusa, the only child of the owner of a small female pro-wrestling organization. After her father dies of illness, she has to take over the business, which is already losing money and is on the verge of shutting down. To make things worse, their referee suddenly disappears on the day of one of their shows, leaving behind only a resignation letter. The desperate Azusa then runs into a young Korean man. She persuades him to serve as a referee just for that day, though she doesn't realize he is actually a popular star in Korea.
