Meiko and the others try to make Noriko sing "Grilled Ice Song" on the street, but Noriko is so shy to do so.
Yutaro tells Kazue, "I will remove Meiko from the family register!". Then, although he rejects Shozo's intercession, Genta points out, "You should talk about your feelings even if Meiko hates you."
With the newly-released grilled ice, customers are not gathered at all, and Noriko courageously thinks of Meiko and starts singing!
