When thunder struck, Jin Shi Chuan was reminded of Xu Lai when he looked outside the window. He's worried that Xu Lai might be waiting for him downstairs. Xu Lai is crouching at the corner. She's elated when she sees Jin Shi Chuan. Jin Shi Chuan shows her the cold shoulder and wants to break up with her. Xu Lai doesn't agree to the breakup.
