Cute with a wild element
I didn't enjoy the ML's character in No Gain No Love but I did like him better in this since he was written as a perfect character. I had an idea of what the plot was about and it turned out to be right so there was no surprise element but I liked some of the comedy. It isn't as good as NGNL but it isn't bad. The story is fun and cute and I enjoyed the bold elements. I am glad they took us into the world the FL created. I would recommend watching No Gain No Love first so you can appreciate this drama more. I think the 2 episodes were perfect for Spice Up Our Love.I also liked the secretary's character and how different it was to the parent story. He is a pretty good actor and did great in all the different roles.
I was really blown away by Lee Sang Yi singing 'A World For Us'. Didn't expect him to be such a good singer. I enjoyed the song.

The leads carried the drama all by themselves
They really got chemistry. And they carried the drama all by themselves. The plot is weak and, once again, it is carried solely by the leads. The fact that Ja-yeon has some intimate scenes with the secretary kinda bothered me. And that scene where the president catches her in the air was too much for me. But, like I said, they have chemistry so I endured.However, this drama is empty and it brings nothing new. Basically she ends up inside her webnovel, as the FL, but the ML is not her teenage crush but the guy she's sueing for hate. In the beginning, the president doesn't believe her and the drama plays this for laughs, making her run away from him. Then, she convinces him of what's happening to her, he gets sad bc his life is fake and, suddenly, she falls for him. Seriously, it's like from one moment to another. After this, they get to spend some good moments together, until he gets in an accident, he confesses how much he loves her, and she wakes up from her dream. Then she just forgives him and that's it. End of story. The drama wasn't even that spicy, she barely has any hot scenes with Lee Sangyi.
I know this is a just a 2-ep drama. But I expected more. But seeing that No Gain No Love's ending was disappointing, this one couldn't be no different.

Finest Spinoff Ever
This show was absolutely hilarious, a riot from start to finish. The short spinoff takes place during the moment when Bokgyu tries to apologize to Jayeon outside the police station. He nearly gets into an accident and seeing him in danger causes Jayeon to faint. In that instant, she is transported into her own web novel waking up in the body of the main protagonist, Seo Yeon Seo. Shocked by Bokgyu's near accident, she starts seeing him everywhere as Kang Hajun, the character, Yeo Hajun was originally playing before her transmigration.
From digital billboards to movies, Bokgyu’s face appears in every role. He hilariously replaces Song Joong Ki and Cha Eun Woo on digital billboards and even steps into Lee Do Hyun’s part in Exhuma
Onnie guy from Behind Your Touch also makes several cameos and his scenes are equally hilarious.
Once transmigrated things take a comedic turn as she attempts to alter several plotlines only to fail spectacularly which leads to some truly funny moments.
This spinoff also explains when Nam Jayeon actually fell in love with Bokgyu in the original story.
Overall i enjoyed this spinoff even more than the original No Gain No Love.

An enjoyable fantasy spin-off with the fan-favourite second couple of no gain no love. It's really enjoyable and sits at a particular moment in no gain no love which connects the 2 dramas really well.The story is as wild as her novel ? and sets itself apart from other dramas. Kissing scenes are wild and comedy is hillarious

My Secret Romance meets Extraordinary You
This little spin off is definitely cute and ads a little spice to the original, giving us the viewers more of these two in a lovely display of cliches and things I have seen before... Which I assume is intentional.An easy watch, short to the point rom com CEO webtoon parody, at ist most neutral. There to compensate us viewers who made it though No Gain No Love wishing these other two where the leads.
I am however not truly satisfied and wish they would have gotten their own series to begin with instead of being stuk as side kicks to the first drama.
But since it is to late for that I guess this will do....
Fun fact: My Secret Romance is a drama that I once started re watching by mistake...one that took me 2 episodes to realise that I had seen it before... So pretty much as forgettable as No Gain No Love...

Queria começar dizendo que fiquei um pouco frustrada por não ter sido algo mais envolvente, foi bom, não me entenda mal, os atores tem uma ótima química, são ótimos juntos e uns amores, mas poxa eu queria ver mais sobre eles dois, mesmo que a parte de viver sua própria história escrita, poderiam ter feito de uma forma melhor.Mas não tem como não amar esses dois em todos os universos que eles existirem, são incrivelmente perfeitos um para o outro e vão se amar em todas as vidas que terão, isso é fato.

O que todos estavam esperando...
Eu tiquei tanto no hype pra ver esse drama. O meu casal favorito tendo um spin off pra chamar de seu e a unica coisa que se pasou na minha cabeça é que eu queria mais alguns episódios.A premissa da trama é ótima me lembra uma vibe de W e até mesmo extraordinery you, da pra ver nitidamente a interpretação do Lee Sang Yi mudando quando comparado os dois personagens, o que é perfeito.
Amei as cenas de vergonha alheia. Resumindo esse drama é bom, mas podia ter um pouco mais de tempo pra desenvolver a trama melhor.

watch for fun!!
Honestly for this spin-off you cannot go in expecting an insane plot etc. This drama is meant more for the casual fun perspective without much deep meaning. I went in just expecting some romance between the second leads but i was actually shocked there was a story inside.It felt like i was watching a Mini-W series (W-two worlds). I also felt like there were alot of adlibs in the show. The way he kept emphasizing her name "SEO Yeon Seo" and the sudden superman moments. This show was really for a light comedy romance between the second leads.
Will re-watch because their chemistry is so good...!

Una historia mu divertida, y que todos lo que amamos esta pareja en "No gain No love" seguro amaran, la historia No es mas que un sin off de "No gain no love" donde nos cuenta como Ja Yeon termina en el universo de la novela que esta escribiendo.La verdad es que iba a ver esta serie solo porque amaba esta pareja en "No gain no love" pero me divertí bastante, ademas me hizo recordar cuando vi "eres extraordinaria" que tenia una trama de universos literarios parecida a la de esta historia.
Sin duda una historia que te va a sacar risas y aunque es super corta, nos hace entender mucho a los personajes y sus comportamientos y siento que en esos dos cap vimos un muy buen desarrollo de los protagonistas. fueron 2 ep cargados y la verdad se me fueron super rápido, amaría ver a estos dos actores actuando de nuevo juntas, me gusta mucho la química que tienen.
La musica es divina, me encanta el ost, la volvería a ver, es una historia super corta que te saca risa y que es muy amena. Mi única queja es que es muy corta, pero de ahí en mas, es muy disfrutable.

ME HA DEJADO CON GANAS DE MÁS EPIS!
La historia sin dudas es muy divertida. Si ya en 'NO GAIN NO LOVE' hacían una pareja genial, aquí no os vana defraudar.Lo que si que me ha dejado es con ganas de saber más acerca de estos personajes, si que es verdad que es como el universo paralelo, de la historia que escribe el personaje que interpreta Han Ji-hyun, como la escritora de la serie 'NO GAIN NO LOVE', pero me esperaba que durara más episodios, quería ver más como se desarrollaba la trama, como se enamoraban, no se lo he encontrado todo demasiado rápido, y es obvio al tratarse de un Spin-off de dos episodios... pero podían haberlo alargado más y la vería sin dudarlo.
Saco una puntuación enorme por el OST, que es sin duda magnifico. Lee Sang-yi, canta como los angeles ♥

YAYYY!!!! i loved these two in no gain no love so ofc when i heard they're having a spin off, I HAD TO WATCH!!! this was rly cutiee, lowkey hoping for more scenes of what actually happened in the novel LOL but so cutie. i dont rly like how ha jun and the hater guy switched places. mad weird. but otherwise was rly cutie, but chemistry could've been better, the guy was mostly just desperate for her and not rly a main lead. UGHH i wanna read the novel myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also rewarched NGNL, theres a few changes in the lines!! I wonder if juyeon rly remembers what happened in her "dream" and thats what led to her falling in love with the hater guy IRL. anywho, cutieCet avis était-il utile?
