A sweet love story between a shy girl & the smartest boy in class.Her family has just moved to town & she’s feeling awkward & misplaced. Thankfully, she quickly makes new friends who help her settle in at school. Much to her mother’s annoyance, though, she’s not a top student. She’d rather lose herself in her artwork than study for hours. But as she grows closer to the ML, she’s inspired to get serious about her studies & plan for the future. Her college entrance exams don’t go well, though, so she’s left behind to try again while her closest friends move onto the next phase of life. Will she be able to remain strong & keep trying when the people who helped her make it through each day are no longer by her side?
He’s always been popular & good at everything. School comes easy to him & he’s on the path to pursue his dreams at college. Those plans expand to include the FL, though, as they interact more & their feelings grow. But will their bond survive when they’re separated by distance? When familial tragedy strikes, he pushes her away in his quest to not cause her further stress. But when his efforts succeed & she no longer seeks him out, he realizes just his much he needs her. Can he win back her affection or are they destined to be just a youthful memory for one another?
This is 1 of my favorite youth dramas. They’re so flippin’ cute together! I love watching their dislike of each other turn into admiration & respect for one another. Their friendship is so beautiful & their bond so pure. I adore watching them become more than friends. The trust, the loyalty, the bff vibes… The way these two love each other is pure couple goals & what I wish every first love could be! 🫶🏻

ONE OF THE BEST YOUTH DRAMAS OF THE YEAR!!
I wasnt really expecting much from this drama when I started watching it but it turned out to be GREAT! I've re-watched it for the 3rd time now. HAHAHHAHA. I knew Siyue's actor from The Handsome Siblings, he was amazing there btw; while this is the first time im seeing Rainbow in a drama. Though I think she could still be better, I believe she did well as Ding Xian. Supporting actors and actresses were amazing too. What I liked most in this drama is their character. He wasnt that cliché genius, cold, perfect dude; and she wasnt that usual sunny, blabbermouthed, friendly, sometimes clumsy classmate. The story-telling was okay. Neither slow burn nor fast-paced. The OSTs, chef's kiss. Especially, during flashbacks and sweet moments. Anyway, this drama is a must-watch and re-watch :)Cet avis était-il utile?

The best high school drama I ever watched
Omg this drama is literally amazing kudoos to the whole team I was smiling from Starting till end of the series The two couples are deskmates from high schoolThe main lead couples: Zhou siyue and ding xinan were too sweet to be couples their chemistry will make u blush all the time
The second lead couples:song ziqi and kong shaadi were also too cute their comedy and chemistry is amazing
The third lead couples : Jiang Chen and his pair(forgot her name coz space s not given that much to the couples) but they too are cute and have amazing chemistry
Mainlead's parents:both of their parents were supported them from Starting till end though ding xinan mama is strict in begining there is character development in the end
Not that much cliche r cringe scenes in the drama the music and osts made this drama even more beautiful For the first time I felt 24 epi s too short for a drama Don't worry guys there is a spl epi and it's a perfect ending you will blush again through out the spl epi will def re-watch this series

A must watch drama
After a long time feeling bad for finishing the drama. At least another 6 episodes was expected. A heart touching drama with too emotional.Both ML and FL are really did their job well and both are too good looking and have very good chemistry. Especially the FL her acting skills are way beyond my expectations and her cute smile is soo refreshing. I must appreciate the whole crew who worked for this drama, all characters did their job well, they contributed their full talent.
Key points:- No negative characters, fair love challenge, no too much controversies, cute and heart touching love story and too sentimental final episodes.

Very sweet high school to college story about desk mates who ultimately fall in love. Seen many high school dramas. This is slow paced but doesn't drag and not boring. My first time watching FL actress. She does a wonderful job. ML actor is obviously very talented -- I have seen him in several shows and he hits it out of the park every time. Secondary cast did a nice job for what they were given. Not to say it wasn't good, but the primary cast is the reason to watch.Cet avis était-il utile?
One of the best youth drama!
Started to watch this with zero expectations since I've never heard/known any of the casts before and it turned out to be one of my fav drama ever. The plot kind of reminded me of my high school days. I loved the cast and ost the most. I'm actually quite surprised with the ML, not only he's good looking but also natural in acting. The chemistry between the leads is really good and their matching fits are the cutest. I would love to see them in the same project again. I do totally recommend this for those who like light, sweet and fluffy romance. It will warm you heart no doubt! Worth watching, definitely 10/10.Cet avis était-il utile?

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The drama makes you want to go back and experience first love, what I love from this drama they started as hating each other. The more you hate the more you love. Then the reality that once you experience hardship in life you can't concentrate just what happened to Zhou Siyue. I'm still wishing this drama to have more episodes, been watching this drama everyday.Din Xian portrays the typical girl in love, and she knows too where too stop. The story is so cute and the cast, I wish to Chen Gege and Rainbow another drama, their chemistry is out of this world. I'm a person who easily ship a pair in a drama but once I get hooked with them it means I can sense chemistry. Their acting is so real, even the supporting roles, you will love their story too.

I don't like that fanzhixin support role.I think that fanzhixin is the main role. Fanzhixin is best for main role and main character.
I like this story and acting. But the main role character (boy) role I don't like. Main role character (girl) is acting is good and fanzhixin acting. Fanzhixin acting is awesome.

fav youth cdrama of all time
This drama is absolute perfection. From the first episode I was HOOKED, the storyline and pacing are amazing. Male lead is a total golden retriever energy, zero coldness to the female lead. I love that they went from somewhat enemies, to friends, to lovers. this is slow burn done right, throughout their high school years despite them not dating I still felt all the fluff and butterflies I’d feel watching them as a couple. The buildup to their relationship after they went to college is truly incredible, totally worth waiting 19 episodes for them to become a couple! I could gush about this drama forever bc it’s just so good and I’ve yet to find another drama to compare, I’ve actually dropped a few recently and just rewatched our secret instead.Cet avis était-il utile?

After a long time I watched a really refreshing drama,this is really worth ur time it isn't just abt a love story but abt ur youth, passion,love, dreams.I totally loved every moment in it. I will someday rewatch it. The cast were all really amazing, I really liked the main leads chemistry a lot and the other two couples were adorable as well. I really appreciate the directors and writers and all those who participated in this amazing drama. I really never wrote a proper review before, this is the first time so pls don't mind my mistakes if any, but, I hope u could watch it and experience all those tender feelings in this drama.Cet avis était-il utile?

Process of growing up
PLEASE DON'T SLEEP ON THIS DRAMA!Cast:
To start off, our ML is not your cold-stoic face ML. He's just like any other guy in your school who's a teacher's pet and is friendly towards everyone, a genius and has looks too. I would say his character development slowly turned dark when he goes off to college bc of some reasons (u gotta watch to know more). But all i can tell you is that, no matter where/what the FL does he will still fall head over heels for her again. Oh, most importantly is he's loyal to one so if u're looking for a playboy type, skip this (but u'll regret it!)
Our FL is just a qt who needs to be protected. Just like any other introverted girl, there she is closing her doors and trying to avoid any attention. But as the story progresses, i would say that she has the most obvious character development. And like us, she's a mediocre who tries her best to pass, but there will be times where she fails yet she got stronger. You'll soon love her bc she's just adorable; the way she confessed her love for ML and how she got stronger.
The side characters are also funny like i've never seen such a good combination of friends who try to understand one another. Even the side characters were given their own happy ending which rarely happens in cdrama.
The casts' chemistry omg... it looked so real even the sad scenes... idk who's cutting onions but whenever I see them get hurt, i'll cry too :<<< though all of them look young, unlike other cdramas where their casts look awkward this story however, won't ever disappoint you i promise.
Storyplot:
Goodness, it's a chef's kiss!! As an audience, when i watched this till the end, this story gave me a nostalgic feeling of when we were in highschool experiencing all the fluttering feelings. The story is very relatable to our lives, even the ML who is a genius gets distracted sometimes and drop in ranks. The FL who tries hard but still fail in some things.
And when they started to go separate ways to college and all turbulence happened, it certainly made me feel sad knowing that's how reality works when we grow older. But all in all, this story talks about the importance of friendship and embracing one another's weaknesses while they take us on their growing up journey.
If you want a ML who will nvr cry, then this isn't for you bc our ML here is a legit human being who experiences all sorts of emotions.

Even the songs omg are masterpiece. EVERY song fits perfectly with each scene and u'll nvr get tired listening to the songs!!!

I just love this drama .
The plot is definitely not new. Just like any other school drama, it too circles around youth and friends. But what made this drama different is it's storyline. The feeling is different when you see the chemistry between male and female leads. The secret the male lead keeps behind his chest makes you totally fall in love with him. I felt that male lead had already fallen into her from the very beginning. Moreover they had known each other since childhood. I just love the male lead.
