this episode kinda really sad, haein really did amazing in those sad scenes, fml and her mom situation is just every house story being misunderstood and heartbroken
You're telling me I'm supposed to be okay with the FL keeping a cancer diagnosis and a subsequent surgery from her parents and closest friends. Surgery can lead to death, did she at all consider the guilt and lifelong self-hatred her parents might have to live with if she'd died on the operating table? I'm scared that the show won't condemn this, won't address the fact that this character is terrible at communication and sometimes selfish in her martyrdom. I'm not going to pretend to know what she's going through but diagnoses like these don't just affect the person going through them. You can't be angry with your family for how they treat you if you never give them enough information to understand where you're coming from.
So I wrote this before watching Ep 9, I'm giving this 1 more episode to see what the fallout is but she really said: "You could've called me if you were sick..." The hypocrisy.
