Overwhelmed
Following a friend’s advice, Liang Dai Wen attends a stand-up comedy show. By day, Gu Yi works as an editor at a magazine; by night, she performs stand-up at Ounce. She confidently tells her friend Yu Du Le, who also works part-time at Ounce, that she will get the whole crowd laughing that evening. Unfortunately for her, seated right in the front row is Liang Dai Wen, who is incapable of laughing. No matter how hard Gu Yi tries, he just won't crack a smile.

I will highly recommend Smile code to everyone. Gu Yi , Liang Daiwen, are very simple and innocent and played very well.

Got to know about this drama through reel and now i am obsessed with this drama i really like GuYu she's so beautiful and adorable both main lead chemistry is mind blowing

This was the most emotional episode and the Best Acting so far in the series. Both Gu Yi and Laing Dai Wen raised the bar in Acting. They were exceptional in dealing with a family trauma with grief and sadness. The way the co-stars acted together was beyond words and their chemistry translates to the screen. I have watched these two actors in previous series before but there Acting is the Gold standard in American films. Their voice, actions, and emotions express a profound and deep meaning.Also, the matrix scenery and flashbacks are exciting to watch as the lighting and imagery are remarkable. This is an A++ Drama for all audiences and should be recommended to Netflix, Disney + or Paramount pictures with other professional movies since I definitely give it a 10 out of 10 Star.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love how these flashbacks express the past and future periods. How is medical condition manifests and he meets Gu Yi for the first time.

This drama is so good. I can't get enough of Shen Yue and I'll watch ANYTHING with SHEN YUE. The cinematography and production value is top notch. The whole vibe and setting of this show is truly elevated, I love it, and I love Shen Yue and Lin Yi were chosen for this because they definitely do great work embodying thecharacters, Gu Yi and Liang Daiwen.

Everything about this show is really cool: the sets, locations, photography, directing, the choice of actors. The leading pair is SPECTACULAR and have amazing chemistry. Lin Yi is as always elegant (and very tall!) and can portray the character superbly… just look at his eyes and you can feel Liang and how distant from regular/mundane emotions he is; and then, there’s Shen Yue, she’s is AMAZING in this role, and always a gem to watch. Gu Yi is a vibrant, vivacious and funny girl, always connecting with the people around her… until she met de ML, that is. You have to watch to see how they do. This show is very pleasant overall and a surprise as to how good it is

What a great starting episode! The FL and ML are very interesting characters. The cinematography and lighting gives this series a movie feel while capturing the vibrant and gritty urban environment. I'm interested in what happens next.

Good OST will make the drama attract the viewers. Always like in every episode of a cdrama & kdrama that they revelation at the end of episodes.

I like how this episode didn't rush or drag things around. I like the FL's ordinary life and personality. She is not overly "cute" or childish. I hate it when most Chinese dramas I've watched have their FLs acting and sounding like little girls.

good i like it, t was such a lovely episode. I loved it. Lin Yi looks so majestic, and Shen Yue looks gorgeous. I really like the story, ost, plot. Well, in the first episode Liang Dai Wen and Gu Yi's meeting was in a dramatic way which I loved the most! They both fall for one another and also it’s Love at First Sight! Turns out Liang Dai Wen can't laugh! But Gu Yi is stand-up comedian! Let's see if she can make Liang Dai Wen LAUGH!?
