Adolescent emotions

Phun and Noh still don't know who they are; promises at this age are just words. Confidences will follow the waves out to sea, but one day those waves will wash them back to shore.

Phun having distinct recollections of every meeting he had with Noh... wow, he has liked Noh for many years. The fake Faen was just a set-up to finally have a chance to get close to him. But it back-fired. Instead of being able to say, okay, we can be close friends, it made Phun realize he wanted Noh and it made Noh realize he liked Phun. It was a cute, but painful, moment to see them decide that they can have feelings but not act on them. As if feelings can be set aside that easily. As we see, these two are truly "love sick" for each other. No rational decision will change that.
