It’s not cute love.

8.5 stars rounded up, the only reasons this isn't a solid 10 stars is there are a lot of little things that bothered me in of plot and relationship dynamics , but the rest of the series was lovely so it's ok.

I honestly don’t want to share too much about this series before you look it — it’s best enjoyed knowing as little about it as possible. However, what I will say is the pacing is good, the jumpy timeline builds tension and has you at the edge of your seat, and that ending…Bitter and sweet. How you feel about it may determine your final rating too.
But yeah, apart from that...
It was a unique story but there was a missed opportunity to really make this an the best story, which somehow makes the flaws worse since I get frustrated seeing wasted opportunities.

lots of potential, HOWEVER

My expectations were very high starting this series and the first episodes lived up to it. The actors and the visuals were Great (pun intendet) so no complains on that aspect. However, I wished they could've done more episodes and dedicated the story and all its plotlines, as well as the romance, more time. Everything happens very fast, many plotholes weren't filled and the characters lost depth, as their development wasn't given enough space (specifically Greats brother, as well as the relationship between him and Ton Kla, Great and Tyme and the police officer). Everything was rushed, so as watcher I felt myself growing emotionally distant to the story, and unbothered when certain character's died.

(Also, a bit of more explanation to why some characters acted the way they did would've been nice. Why kill someone randomly? The art exhibition? Ton Klas actions in the first few episodes?)

OSCAR WINNING SERIES

Woowo , mind-blowing, masterpiece, I didn't expect to see such solid and intresting plot from thai bl industry.. this is specially for time travel lovers... I like the was they played with timelines and in last the wrapped up everything perfectly.. no loophole whole 4 minute concept was perfectly explained in whole series... Their is 3 timeline in which 2 timelines are Virtual (fake) world ..
In last 10 min of ep 8 it was explained why and what "4 min "actually is...
And

(Spoiler) Pls remember everything that happens with kla and korn is reality, they just used 4 min concept for Thyme and great ..
And just focus on each and every single details ( cardiac arrest) ....

FINALLY.... A STORY!

Finally an original idea!
Finally a concept with a concrete story behind it!
Finally a series that gives real space to the roles to develop!
Finally a series that you watch because you are interested in how its story will develop!
Finally a series whose twists have consistency and explanation!
Finally a series created by people who didn't get bored of their work.
Finally a series whose raison d'être is an idea and not an hour-long commercial forced by actors without a script.

PS Don't get me wrong... I high value the attempt of the series to bring something meaningful and new. It's not perfect in many ways and a lot of things could be fixed but it's miles away from the classic, boring recipes based only on fan love of specific actors. Also my perceptive...if you kept the sex part from the whole series, that's fine and it's perfectly legitimate, but that's probably what you were looking for in the series.

Ummmmmmm…..yeh

I couldn’t finish the show for multiple reasons. The first and main reason just being as to why on earth the 17 year old had more and more detailed sex scenes than the walk-in characters in the 1st 3 episodes. I’m extremely impressed by Fuaiz’s acting scenes, but I just feel like BoC has a knack for making younger actors do crazy stuff the sect of they turn legal enough. Not to say the whole film industry doesn’t do the same tho…. Anyways.

Next , like many have said, it was getting confusing. I watched it whilst it was airing and I couldn’t actually put my finger on what exactly was happening. I feel like , from what I saw, they put more effort into the acting in the explicit scenes more so than the actual emotional scenes. However, I cannot say I’ve watched all of it as I clearly haven’t but seeing allll there 4 and 5 star reviews saying it just got worse as it went on I think it’s safe for me to say it.

Please spend you’re time watching something else ?

My Own Opinion!

This BL Series, 4Minutes, is great. The recommendations online (I saw this on TikTok) showed the chemistry of the characters, the 18+ scenes, and the unique power that the main character has. But it has more to that.

What really captured me to watch it is the unique element in the story it has. The plot revolves around the main character who can see 4 minutes in the future, his father's "secret illegal gambling casino", and the death of his classmate. The good thing about the plot is that it all revolves around the main character, so it has a connection. In total fairness to the actors, they're all giving, hence a good job.

The downside of this series is that I totally lost it at the last 3 episodes. I had to read a recap of the episodes in Google, in order to understand what's going on. The fast pacing of the scenes at the end needed to be worked for. Also, 8 episodes is not enough for this series. I think that with more episodes, the story will be explained and elaborated more.

Overall, it was fun, crazy, and hot to watch, and a great recommendation of a BL Series to watch.

Ps. Warning because watching this series is like watching a p*rn on the side. But they executed the scenes well, so it's a must watch.

Life Flashed Before Their Eyes

I'm a fan of the cinematography. I loved how they told this very unique concept of a story in a nonlinear fashion. The jump from one AU to another was jarring and it definitely required my sister and I to pay close attention to the plot as it unfolded.
I thought this was a genius idea. Though there was some confusion over what exactly was happening towards the end of the drama, I think it's less of a 'I hate that drama bcuz I didn't understand' and more of a 'Im not 100% sure what happened but now I can't stop thinking about it' sort of reaction and mindset.
The fact that they had a very real and a very thought provoking topic like what happens to a person when they're on the brink of death but their brain is still active, was mindful and creative. Not many dramas delve into such a topic. It reminded me of another drama I watched (that wasn't BL but could be considered queer) called Behind Her Eyes that portrayed lucid dreaming and astral projection. Love to see it.
I loved the characters - especially Ton Kla and Great. I think Ton Kla was a very complex and realistic person. There were good examples of character development and growth for Great. There was quite an obvious shift in his personality and morals as the drama progressed. His inaction, cowardice and bystander mannerisms were his downfall in one AU (or actually reality). The sudden ability to go back in time by four minutes to fix a major mistake that he made matured him as a person, in my opinion. (I believe this is the AU and the other version was the real version without the powers.) His decision to expose the corrupt Ministry and deny his parents a chance to return to Thailand and continue doing illegal business showed his growth and newly established morals that were nonexistent before. Good for him!
Tyme was also a favorite character. I liked both versions of him, no matter the AU. His revenge was sweet and served ice cold. The best type of revenge. Grandma deserved better.
Korn and Ton Kla felt toxic from the beginning and it still was at the end but I felt bad for them after it all. Korn felt like a Predator with a capital P when their flashback happened and shown their past. I'm not I'm sure if Korn would have remembered Ton Kla if he didn't marry that woman and left his family behind. Korn was dealt a shitty hand - most of the characters were so I only felt bad for his sudden heartbreak and immediate demise. The way Ton Kla and Korn were laid out on the ground at the end matched the same positions when they were laying in bed talking about running away together in the past. Truly tragic, I acknowledge that.
Ton Kla's love for his brother was visceral for me -
Title had it coming! And his father was no better. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, indeed.

The production value was at its highest. Everything looked impressive and intentional. The music and settings were memorable. Despite my confusion at the end, the pace of the drama was appreciated and appropriate for an eight episode show.
I would recommend this show to others and I believe it's worth rewatching. Well done.

Great concept, weak plots

It's an interesting supernatural idea that limits the power to see the future in the span of 4 minutes only. But with a plot that should make the audience in awe but diverted to having a messy ending. This is another typical Be On Cloud’s project that only showcases a high-quality start with an extremely disappointing finale. I understand that the script is trying to give us shocking revelations but the execution was poorly done. If they had enhanced most of their scenes during the last two episodes, everything about this drama would have been a chef’s kiss.

I highly appreciate and am well-devoured by Bas’ extremely outstanding performance as Korn in this series. He stole the show and uplifted the drama’s charisma. The presentation of his role was flawless. The love triangle of Korn, Tonkla, and Inspector Win is way more entertaining than the main couple. They nailed their characters and stole the spotlight even playing as supporting casts. But I must say that Bas and Bible’s chemistry as siblings is so cute that I want to see more of them as sworn brothers in the future.

The intimate scenes are also the best! It was tremendously romantic and amorous. Fuaiz and Bas made the finest sequence of passionate acts in the show. JJ became the third wheel here and I liked it better since the two mentioned paired above were explicit and intense.

In general, 4Minutes is a pretty average BL drama with a fascinating start that loses its spark from the dissatisfying scenarios established in the end. Nevertheless, the acting from everyone was great and set up a unique storyline that distinguished them from other BLs from this year. Nice work!

Absences of story

This is the most nonsense series I ever seen. Where is the main ? Its been two episodes we have no idea what happening. There is some random actions going on background that might or might not converge at the end so we won't get clear story line because it is not important? All I saw is that main point of this series is that is Great Tyme gonna have sex in upcoming episodes nothing else. If thats was the story why we need all that dark action on background? Is this a rom com with off vibes. The absolute disconnect this mediocre series. Even actors themselves have no idea what this series is about. Why should I waste my time for boring series with no plot just for forced looking nc scenes? Jes Bible have no chemistry it's painful to watch their brotherly flirting sammon should have written a proper story but she's bad at writing i guess because what even is this series even , empty story just to fill up gaps between sex scenes. Anyways everyone you yapp about this being the best are either obsessed with Build or just wanna see porny nc scenes, nothing else.
