An Office Romance Done Right
This series really has everything you need in a show. It's the right balance of fluff and angst, a healthy relationship, no weird misunderstanding storylines, a cute office romance, a sprinkle of school romance, and a great cast. One thing I love about this story is how realistic it is. Ki Tae's anxiety about Wan disappearing is not over or underplayed, and the way that the characters make up after a (minor) disagreement is realistic and cute.
When I read the synopsis, I was expecting the power imbalance at work to make more of an appearance, but there's no real workplace bullying, just light teasing that is soon reciprocated.
The relationship seems to develop naturally, which is impressive for how short this series is. Especially on their park date when they are opening up to each other and flirting, it seems perfectly natural and realistic.
I do wish we got more time with the show, but they did fantastically with the short amount of time they did have.
Overall, this is a great short watch to get you out of a rut or to make you smile. I will definitely rewatch this in the future and I hope to see more from this production team and cast.

One of the best 2023 KBL
When I started watching, I was not expecting to love Our Dating Sim the way that I do now. It's such a pleasant surprise and a refreshing one at that. I don't usually write MDL reviews and I think this will be the second, the first one being 2018 or 2019-ish.I loved every interaction between the leads. It's so refreshing to watch two guys fall in love in a natural manner. The characters are fun and interesting too, even with their short exposures. I remember just smiling throughout the whole episode. Their chemistry is one of a kind. Also, I loved their little kisses. They are adorable together.
Story wise, it's not really a new concept but I was pleasantly surprised with how everything was executed— the run time especially. Even with a short run time, nothing felt rushed. It only has 15 minutes per episode but they managed the time constraints and delivered well. Speaking of run time, that's the only thing I don't like about this drama. I would have loved to see more of them.
But let's just say the BL gods blessed us with this one, not a single episode was wasted and we actually got good writing. From the first episode down to its last, it lived up to expectations. I mean, with BLs, there are curses casted on the last two episodes.
I'm so lucky to have found this gem when 6 episodes already aired or I would have lost more hair. I was eagerly waiting for the days to come for the last two episodes to drop.
Now, I dont really like rewatching dramas but this one has a high rewatch value for me. It's so soft and fluffy that I find it comfortable. Let's also add that it's only a couple minutes. I still think at 30 minutes, this BL would have killed me and I won't complain.

Interesting concept, lovely story
One thought: cute, cute, cute!!Ok, it might be so simple in terms of the plot but I was still entertained by how they developped it from the first to the finale episode (although it was a bit short, they could add some more scenes but that was fine). I liked the concept / idea of a small game (mainly towards the end of each episodes, it's like they invited us to play it). That's why I give an extra point for the production in general.
It has mostly some fluff moments with in general a slice of life genre and a bit of angst. Overall, it was nice, easy to watch. I want to say, these two looks so good together, they have a lovely chemistry and they seems to be comfortable with each other!
p-s: it's been 10 days ago I've completed this serie so I might forget some things to talk about it.

The Best Short Length BL of 2023
This series pulled me in immediately. The chemistry of the main leads was dynamic. The Lee's have easily reach the status of the Parks (SEMANTIC ERROR)The Kiss scenes were amazing in comparison to most KBL series.
And both main leads were absolutely Gorgeous.
I've watched this series more times than I can say.
Even the side characters were amazing...I loved Sunny.
Very well done.
Lee Wan in my opinion had every right to run away because Shin Ki Tae reacted unfavorable to his confession of love in my opinion. I think he was just surprised but at same time he didn't seem to feel the same way. It is plausible that he didn't know how he felt until he lost Lee Wan for that 7 Years. Then all he could feel was regret. I mean he did immediately chase after Lee Wan so maybe he simply needed a moment after Lee Wan confessed, kissed and then took off.
But You could see Lee Wan was traumatized. He took a risk and he thought Ki Tae rejected him. But my heart went out to Ki Tae and his hidden anxiety in Episode 7. So well acted. I miss them already.

What is the synonym for Perfection ?, well it is "Our Dating Sim".
First of all thanking all the cast & crew members for bringing us such a excellent, magnificent & flawlessness drama.Actors needs a big standing aviation for their chemistry & acting.
WOW, the Kisses are just perfection, the Acting was spot on, the story would make you believe everything happening in front of you is so real. The constant pecking on cheeks & lips, "Bum tap", the eyes, the mini games at the end of each episode, etc... just everything is a prime example for perfectly crafted quality show.
Our Dating Sim is Rare highest quality diamond and everyone should definitely watch it.

ABSOLUTELY EPIC
The way this bl gonna be on my top list for god knows how long because jesus christ this was a literal masterpiece?! I rarely have high expectations for kbls to be honest it's been long since I've seen such sincere actions coming from a kbl sometimes felt like they just wanted to get the job done with but it's not the same case regarding this bl, the leads chemistry is insane felt like I can watch them forever without any lack of interest, the way they were having sweet little moments every now and then I can't get over it :') not to mention the plot was quite attention gaining felt like an actual crush development story definitely recommend all the way!Cet avis était-il utile?

Face Your Own Demon
Such a sweet and heartwarming story about two men, who actually liked each other since high school but were separated due to the lack of communication. One was afraid after the 'rejection' and chose to run away, while the other one was kinda late to realize his own feeling and lost his man for few years. The series told us that we should never avoid our own troubles, our own feeling, because one day, sooner or later, it will haunt us back, and to have a closure (happy or sad) is better than to avoid it.
Although it seems that the communication wasn't built well at the beginning (because LW avoided to communicate) but in the end, LW was brave enough to choose the thing that was best for him at this moment (stay with SKT)
The trauma of being left behind without any explanation (being ghosted) is definitely real. I could understand SKT's feeling about it. It's indeed a very unpleasant experience.
I have watched this series for 3 times, and it always puts a smile on my face each time after re-watching it.

Stupid(Affectionately) cute and worth every minute
The plotline is cute and we don't waste a bunch of time on miscommunication and will they/won't they. Both our men are learning to communicate better, but the drama doesn't come from crazy jealousy and being misinformed about things. The drama comes from the very human, realistic scenario of not wanting to disappoint your S/O with something and so you don't come out and tell them stuff, but eventually you have to.Wan is baby and needs to be kept in warm hugs and blankets forever. His fear is mostly from the societal pressure of being a gay man who doesn't know how the people around him will react if they find out about his sexuality. He's the one who worries about others seeing them being affectionate, about letting people in. His fear is why he ran away in the first place, seven years ago.
On the other hand, Gi Tae is afraid of losing Wan. He presents as having his shit together, but the show does a great job of showing us how anxious he really is, all the way until his fear finally boils over. It was refreshing that Gi Tae - the character who seems in control - was the one to have a breaking point and not Wan - who seems less emotionally steady. The culminating scene was very well acted and the editing really pulled on the heart strings.
The main downside is the same as most shows. Meaning, I'm pretty sure this is not how game development works. These timelines seem unrealistic. The team size and workload also probably don't match reality. But if I ignore the logistics, I can only find fault in the fact that the music changes every episode and so there's no unifying song that we'll be stuck in my head forever.

Definitely restarting this game!
This is one of the purest, well written and well developed Korean BL's! Particularly I`m a sucker for soft and easy-watching stories, and this is one of the best. The plot itself is really simple, and some could say it lacks drama, but for me this is what makes it so enjoyable. Having a not complex story in 8 episodes with 15 minutes, makes it really well paced with enough plot for us to enjoy. It doesn`t fill in with unnecessary drama and characters. The story, in the end, is all focused on the main couple as it should be.
The cast is really good, the main couple have great chemistry and the supporting actors also do their job really well.
When I was rating, I almost gave the OST a neutral score because it`s not really memorable, but the gaming music that plays in the post credit scenes its just SO right, that I needed to give it a 10.
This one is a great comfort BL that I`ll certainly rewatch in the future.

The fear can make us lose beautiful things, right?
I loved so muchhh!!!The plot is adorable, and their development is so cute. But what I really liked about these series is that they REALLY look like a couple. In many Korean BLs, you see the two male protagonists and look weird: bcs they don't look like a couple, just two friends.
But Wan and Kitae are a couple, they have skinship, they KISS, and they look enamored with each other. It's adorable.
Both actors are GREAT too!
And Wan final message about being happy now, living the now and not the future was beautiful too.

Simple, Sweet, Excellent
What a calming watch this little show was.The story is entirely driven by the complex inner lives of its main characters, two utterly ordinary people in more or less entirely ordinary circumstances, which are explored with such skill and deftness it renders the need for any outside conflict to their relationship entirely obsolete. It's a character-driven drama par excellence masquerading as a simple rom-com and for that alone I'd consider it worth watching.
Add to that the fact that the story and characters are absolutely delightful and deeply endearing, the editing and themes are cohesive and perfectly underscore the plot (the little dating sim-style vignettes of their time in high school in particular are brilliant), the performances are stellar, and the music is fantastic and has been stuck in my head since I first watched the show, well you essentially end up with a must-watch show, in my opinion.
It's a realistic, low-stakes drama with boundless charm and a great appreciation and understanding for love as a transformative force in all of human existence which very much resonated with me.
"Happy endings aren't guaranteed and might not even exist in real life", it says. "But choosing love every time? That's real. That's worthwhile."
And honestly, it couldn't be more right about that.
