It Had Potential
It wasn't as good as I thought it would be but it also wasn't that bad. It had a promising story and the actors did a good job but something just didn't go well.I think if the directors and producers did a better job then maybe it would've been better.
The production was a little sloppy and I feel like maybe they should have edited the story or made more episodes because it was a lot to take in, in just 6 episodes. It really could have been a great series but it is what it is.

Love again
Honestly, I don't know how to describe this. I started watching it, then I stopped, then started again and stopped again. I think it's because I wasn't really invested in it. I've finally finished it. It was only 6 episodes but it was a struggle by the time i got to episode 5.The scenery was beautiful. The huge window in the café was lovely. Day was gorgeous. I understand that coming out and declaring your love is frightening and (sometimes, in real life) very risky. I understand that it takes courage because you don't really know how the other person feels until then and I understand that Night was really anxious (about everything). Having said all of that, I didn't care enough. I wanted him to be brave.
Despite what I've said, the pace of the story and the agonisingly (in my head) long periods where nothing much seemed to happy are realistic...because love, especially unrequited love, can feel painful when it doesn't immediately give you to the fairy tale ending you want.

The first episodes were a gem, then it went downhill
It started off like an awesome drama with the aspiration for 10/10 rating.I absolutely loved the first few episodes. The first 3 episodes were level korean BL good. No hate for thai BLs, but korean BLs just have that vibe that hits different and I'm here for it.
Then ep4 came and it felt like they changed the director or something, it kinda lost its magic from then on. The chemistry also kinda dissapeared. Night turned dumb and started to be frustrating, especially with the daddy issues. I felt like he lacked a natural character development. It felt more like his character was going in circles rather than towards progress. The only change that was really visible was in the final meeting, and that change was massive, like a different person almost. It gave me the impression like Night from ep 1-3, Night from ep4-6 and Night in the finale were 3 different people. Let's just say I didn't buy the acting in the second half - especially Night - and that was not a fault on the actor's side, but just how the character was written.
To sumarize: it could have been such a gem, but then there was something that change the whole feeling of the series, it turned weird and kinda lost me. Which I'm sorry about, I really wanted to like it more, but couldn't.

Average series with some issues but great chemistry
Night Dream was overall a more predictable series but I enjoyed it.The biggest aspect why I liked it and what kept me watching was their great chemistry. I’m really picky when it comes to this but these two brought out many emotions in me.
Many people called the trope basic but I actually like the “friends who lost contact but then reunite later and have secretly feelings for each other”. The storyline went well the first 4 episodes and the “love triangle” did not bother me either because it was obvious that Night had no feelings for Namwan. I liked how they resolved it and that they did not portray Namwan as the evil female character who can’t accept being rejected.
The series went a bit downhill starting at episode 5. This whole situation with Nights brother was unnecessary in my opinion and I didn’t like it. Night and Dream struggling to go from friends to lovers would have been enough but instead there was Day messing with them. His intentions were unclear until the end when it was revealed that he is in love with Dream too what was kind of ridiculous in my opinion.
I hoped they would at least resolve it in a good way but they missed this too. The last episode was packed with time skips and everything felt rushed. Dream leaving two times but then coming back seemed to be there only to create unnecessary drama and to make it more exciting but they achieved the exact opposite and it even became boring despite many things happening.
Night revealing his feelings for Dream in a livestream was another point I disliked and their final getting together at the very end happened way too quickly. They had not seen each other for a longer time (we don’t know how long exactly but Dream had another job so it wasn’t that short) but then acted as if nothing happened and got together?! Shortly after they let the series end without any more scenes.
My rating might seem a bit high now because I highlighted the negative aspects more but in the end I can say that there first 4 episodes were really amazing and I was so excited for every new episode to air and only the last 2 episodes were not it. Again I want to say that their chemistry was probably the major reason why I kept watching and rooted for them.
Do I recommend this series? Well, there are better ones out there but it’s an enjoyable series if you have nothing else to watch.

Could have had more potential
Idk....it started well but they lost me towards the end. So many questions unanswered!! So dream just randomly goes back to visits his cafe and finds that night had bought it but they never even talk about that ...idk some things just felt a bit messy and I am sorry to say this but i felt as though nights acting needs to be improved a little...The part where he faced his dad was good ..but then? Nothing came out of it and he just told his dad he would work for him like??!? We needed to know why his dad reacted the way he did after he was faced ...cuz even after reacting that way nothing changed!! He didn't try to reconcile with night or anything and instead just nodded when he told him he was gonna work with him.
The only good thing were the kisses THE TWO KISSES and the cute moments between night and dream and day and dream.
Yes also how do you not know if your best friend has a sibling?
Overall - 5/10

Hey Rookie Thailand, Toosafe is deserved a better script.
I think I have the same opinion on most of the reviews here. I don't like Night's character, I don't like how the whole series revolves around how Night was cowardly and unclear in every decision of his life. It's clear that Dream is someone who has been through a lot of worse things, so he chose to run away. He didn't confess his love to Night because he wanted to protect Night and Namwan's love. He had too much trauma from love affairs to family matters, he was probably very lonely. But when Night and Dream met again after 5 years, Dream was still as nice to Night as before, he tried to act like they were still friends, he was willing to hide his feelings. But that night Night was the one who started it first, once again, got drunk and almost had sex with Dream, then woke up the next morning and he didn't remember anything. All three times, he always kissed Dream passionately and then ran away.
In return, Dream is such a nice person. He was clear with Day, openly admitting his feelings at the end even though he was afraid. He protects Namwan, but also wants clarity from Night after being sure that NightNamwan's relationship didn't work out.
I want to praise the acting of Toosafe (Dream), Jina (Namwan) and Frong (Zone), all three of them completed their character well. Toosafe is the one who saved the entire emotional flow of this series. He's not a matter because still have some their sweet scenes that are still a bit awkward, but Toosafe has a lot of potential. He’s pretty and his crying scene is also so good, it touches my heart every moment i see him shed tears. He should get another main role with a better script because he is the best actor of Rookie Thailand, not overrated here. And I feel like Ohm (Night) and Jeff (Day) still need to improve in their acting. They are handsome but their act is not that good throughout the series, especially the main Ohm, who only has two expression even though having gone through so many sad and happy things, I hoped he would be more emotional when he met Dream again. Jeff is about 7/10.
I wish they had a kiss scene at the end to balance the emotions of the series after so much drama. I mean they kiss really well *shy* but I would watch their kiss scene at the beach over and over again. This is just my personal opinion. From a nonfan but I’ve become Toosafe’s fan after this series.

The first 4 episodes were good while the last two episodes made me go insane.
This series really disappointed me because there was so, so much potential. I was really enjoying the first 4 episodes for the most part, but honestly by episode 5 I was going crazy. The plot and characters were literally all over the place and the ending didn't even really feel like an ending. In my opinion, it was too sudden when Night was finally being open with his feelings. I hadn't even been able to process fully how or when he had come to terms with his love for Dream but somehow after years and years of being best friends and in denial about his feelings, he was suddenly extremely open with Dream and saying he loved him? It didn't work/develop right in the plot for me.
Also, I'd love to mention Day for a second because what was going on with him? It was like he was supposed to have character development although there really was none. I hated Days character, he was unnecessary in many ways and honestly certain things with him and the plot just didn't add up at all. I don't know if it was something wrong with the subtitles but Day always seemed to give the absolute worst advice to Night when he needed someone there for him and he was overall a pretty unhelpful brother that wasn't really doing anything but irritatingly making things worse. I never felt bad for him.
I could go on and on about how annoying the last two episodes were and how rushed the ending was but I'm not going to because the series OVERALL wasn't the worst ever. It left me disappointed but it was actually a really enjoyable watch for the first 4 episodes. I loved Namwan's character development(she was like the only character with real and well developed character growth), I never exactly hated her but I enjoyed seeing her plot line and growth. She also gave some good advice occasionally which was so refreshing.
I don't really have any big complaints about the series up until ep 5 so I guess if your okay with probably being left disappointed, then I'd recommend it! It wasn't overall horrible, wasn't overall good, just okay with lost potential which will always annoy me in dramas.

Indecisive male lead causing strife to himself and others the series
There is angst and pining and then there is prolonged misery, the later of which the meat of the drama falls into. One person that is the cause of so many nice people's pain. Night is selfish and only concerned with himself and doesn't consider the pain of his best friends. It was terrible enough that Night dragged things on for YEARS with Namwan who also has her weakness with hiding the necklace and knows Dream's feelings towards Night but still asks him for help with Night, but she finally makes things clear for herself and for her friends too. The flashback reveal that he and Dream already kissed before during high school and he still kept his ambiguous relationship with Namwan made the whole situation even worse, it's understandable that Dream who is already in so much pain from losing both his parents cut off communication and left. This also explains why Dream is so nonchalant about Night drunk making out with and feeling him up, it ultimately doesn't mean anything. The show needed to show where and when Dream met Day within those five years, it was so random for him to show up as Dream's close friend and also Night's brother, but none of the three knew the three of them have been in a love tangle the whole time.
I really enjoyed seeing Dream stand up to the former high school and current adult homophobic bully all on his own and as terrible as Night is, I did like his confrontation speech with his father, finally doing something that he's unable to for so many years, which was saying exactly how he feels, the reasoning he's too dumb for engineering and can't help his father business so he chose a major he himself likes, he loves a guy but won't be with him because his dad won't approve and now that guy has left him just like his mom. I also liked how Night's bad behavior led to his confession to Dream not working out with Dream thinking that Night is just using Dream's feelings for him to beat Day. Good on Dream for not agreeing to be with Night until Night pulled his own messy self together.

The both in love but cant say it ❤️?
So far im loving this series 😍 due to that fact that Dream is in love with Night, but Night has feeling's for his best friend Dream. To study literature you need to know tour own true self, can Night understand the true meaning of LOVE & YOUR HEART DESIRES ❤️ Girl mate of Night is in love with him, yet she cant let go of the fact that Night heart has already claimed ♥️ hes doesn't get it. Night Friend is Namwan is in love with him 💕 one-sided love isnt good for anyone 😔 her jealousy is showing. Demanding the rights to Night love interests, why does she wants to cause trouble. Night having trouble with his father right due to fact, that he doesn't want to joined the family business that his father hoped for his future. Dream on the other hand is doing great until the person walked into his cafe was his secret crush 😍 how is he will able to cope, all 3 was good friends back in their college days. That day when Dream saw both by the swimming pool, Namwan telling Night she has liked him from the beginning, thats why Dream disappeared from Night. Fangirl 🩷🇬🇧 FifiCet avis était-il utile?

Insecurities can wreak havoc!
I actually liked this a lot. It is very different from the majority of thai bls these days. The truth is, GMMTV has completely taken over the bl market churning out repetitive fare so when something a bit different comes along, people are lost. NightDream is shorter, dreamier and one of the better produced recent bls. But it ha such a distictive korean bl feel to it because of that.Night and Dream were best friends in high school but they lost touch after the death of Dream's parents. They meet again five years later.
The plot is very basic but it is well executed and beautifully filmed. There are usual tropes galore: friends to lovers, a girl best friend who wants to be more, disapproving parent, bullying schoolmates, helpful friends. The story is firmly centred on the main pair: there are helpful side characters but we do not know or need to know anything about them: so no annoying second couple taking up precious time.
Night is a character deeply conflicted and insecure, and therefore closed off. He has an older brother who is held in high esteem by their father, while he, himself, is regularly criticized for his choices and actions. So even though he has been attracted to (and probably in love with) Dream, he never dared to confess his feelings, afraid of his eternally disappointed father's reaction. Night even managed to convince himself that having feelings for another man is wrong, not normal and unacceptable: he is very scared of his father thinking that he would never accept him, basically!
Dream, on the other hand, has had a crush on Night forever but never dared confessing because he thought that Night was in love with their girl friend. Unlike Night, he is very much at ease with who he is.
Growing up is hard, coming to terms with one's feelings is difficult but once you decide which path leads to it, the happiness is within your reach.
This was a nice quick watch: not your usual thai bl and so much better for it! Added bonus: not one single PPL! Incredible, right?
