gw suka banget Love Tractor, waktu itu ngehype manhwanya. dan pas gw denger ada live action gw jelas excited lah, mana gw denger productionnya sama kek Semantic Error kan ga kebayang sebagus apa.

etdah ternyata beneran bagus walopun ga 100% ceritanya sama kek yg di manhwa. adaptasinya ga terlalu gambarin back story Seon Yul yang bener2 menurut gw nyesek lah dan itu termasuk poin utamanya klo di manhwa.

aktingnya bagus bgt cuy, sangat menjiwai. menurut gw Do Jin harus dapet penghargaan krn dia berhasil bgt meranin Ye Chan wlopun secara fisik beda kek manhwanya yang jauh lebih GUEDE, KEKER & NYEREMIN. tetep apresiasi buat Do Jin krn gw liat ignya dia dulu beda ma yg skrg ya gw jd mikir dia build his muscle hanya utk meranin Ye Chan doang plis jauh2in pikiran random gw.

sountracknya candu bet, gw suka Rainbow by Coldin, gila vibesnya cocok bet ma dramanya.

The cuteness and pouting are a little too much for me.

Subjective Rating - 7.75

I needed something light after a stressful watch, and “Love Tractor” seems like a good idea. However, I am not as impressed with it as many others.

Is Ye Chan cute? To a certain extent, yes. But his cuteness also grates on me after a while, especially his pouting. I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever met a 20-year old act like this, in real life or in drama-land. Oh, he also does not look 20 (the actor is 25 in real life). I am also not a big fan of the persistent chasing after a guy to the point of being stalkerish. But since this is Yoon Do Jin’s first drama, I think he does a decent job.

Do Won is a more experienced actor and his portrayal of Seon Yul is more subtle. I do like him more towards the second half of the drama. The drama gives us enough to get to know him and his background story.

The plot itself is simple and that’s okay. I was not expecting deep characterization or a very complicated story to be told within 8 short episodes. I enjoy the scenery and villagers who are not annoying. The side characters do not distract me from the main characters.

The romance is a little lacking. I am not feeling a lot of romantic chemistry between the two. Seon Yul appears to treat Ye Chan as his annoying but cute little brother. I see no reason why they would fall in love with each other.

If you are looking for something simple and light, and the cuteness of Ye Chan doesn’t bother you, then this is a good watch. However, I don’t think it suits my taste, or what I am looking for at the moment.

Don't Expect It To Change Your Life, Just Enjoy

I rated it 10, not because it's the most perfect gay drama series I ever watched--that would be Novelist/Pornographer--but because it achieves its modest ambitions perfectly.

Expanding on AbsoluteBL's valuable insight vis-à-vis Restart After Come Back Home, I agree that Ye Chan starts puppy and stays puppy, whereas Restart's Yamato is introduced as even more of a stereotype and grows as we learn his backstory and see him through Mitsuomi's loving eyes.

But Love Tractor isn't about character growth. Seon Yul's growth happened before episode 1: Sending his father and In Seo back to Seoul and falling for Ye Chan were actions of the bigger person who turned in a blank exam.

Love Tractor is just good, brightly-lit fun. I'll watch it again sometime. I don't expect to take away any more lessons, but I'll enjoy the performances, Ye Chan's earnest, ardent love and Yoon Do Jin's handsome face.

WHOLESOME CONTENT!!!

In a slew of mid to low tier KBLs, Love Tractor is a delightful glass of cold lemonade.

Both leads, despite being newbies to the industry, did a great job and sold believable and likeable characters. Yechan is impossible not to like. Just a soft, delightful lil himbo. It's lighthearted, funny, and wholesome. While it could have done even better with longer episodes and more time for character development, they really did an amazing job of filling a 20ish minute time slot. I waited for it to feel rushed at the end and it never did.

The rewatch value is high on this one because its just so dang cute. I could see myself rewatching after a bad day or just in need of some warm and fuzzies.

Slight spoiler but the most important criteria for KBLs (in my opinion) --- NO DEAD FISH KISS!!! REJOICE!

Sometimes I just need fluff

This was actually a well done fluff series. Everything was done well from the execution of the story( as everything seemed to flow seamlessly), to the talented actors who played thier roles so well and a cool OST. I am still amazed that not a single character annoyed me from the ML's to the supporting characters. I adored everyone of them so much!

And this series is now my second 9.5 (my highest rating) for a BL this year. That's how much I enjoyed watching it. If you just want a cute fluff series, this right here is for you.

P.S- I know that I am gping to miss them so much.

60 inch T.V.'s have the best love stories!

The quintessential black cat-golden retriever romance!I loved Yechan's actor. He did an excellent job playing a loveable himbo without making it awkward to watch. Yul had great character development and I'm glad he got to pursue music. The community being there for Yul after his accident was heartwarming, and the closeness of the village is so sweet. I think Yechan's mom was probably my second favourite character!
The overall plot is very simple, but the drama as a whole is exceptionally rewatchable. I appreciated the lack of awkward scenes in general as the secondhand embarrassment has been getting out of hand in BL's lately.

Loved the location

First off,I loved the location for this drama… beautiful scenery, fresh and green. Plus there was a dog!

Do Won is a new actor to me and totally stole my heart. What a beautiful face and smile.

I know this probably followed the book, but I did not like Yechan’s childlike character at all. My gosh, he’s a totally handsome man but his pouting and whining ruined it for me. So, for me, there was really no chemistry at all. If they had had Yechan act like the hot man that he is, I can’t imagine how good this would have been. The best look goes to Yul for the look he gives Yechan after kissing him. I almost melted.

Not sure why this was called Love Tractor. It was not really in the series much. Would have made sense it they rode in the tractor together at some point.

A successful manga adaptation... Worth watch.

There is so much to say. First of all, for those who watched the series first and learned about the existence of the manga later, things may seem like a everyting was wrapped up so quickly (You are right.). The story of Yul and In Seo has been slightly changed here, there is not much depth. (sorry, the manga has achieved a much more successful weave in this regard.)
Although the main lines are faithful to the manga, there are some things missing. And of course, 80chapter can only be summarized as a 20-minute series with 8 episodes, so I won't dwell on it too much, but I can't help but say that I hope there will be a special or season 2 because Yee Chan's military service and his personal development afterwards and Yul's Seoul life in the music industry are not in the series.
The choice of actors is very successful, they reduced Ye Chan's excesses in the manga and they did it very well (the TV series is more successful than the Manga in this regard), Yul loses his tough stance very often... (the actor's laughs very cute :) Nevermind, I can ignore this too.
In general terms Drama was good acually better then good. They needed to add more chapters or they needed to be longer episodes but cute, lovely and love the chemistry between actors. Music was well enough.

Very Very Worth to Watch, Yechan is the MVP

I've seen this series a month ago but I kinda not in the mood to watch another series atm. Everyone says it was so good. Then I tried to watch. Damn ! They ain't lie, I was too stuned to speak it was soo good. This series is kinda simple but it's really hooked me. Everything about this series is just perfect, nothing much, nothing less and also I still can't move on until now.

- Story : Very light, not complicated, simple in a good way. Also It's been a long time I laughed my ass loud while watching the series. This series keeps makes me laughing for no reason, the jokes was so unexpected and effective.

-Cast/Acting : No comment all the cast really did well with their role but I have to say Dojin is the MVP of this series He literally carry the whole series, he makes this series more colorful and laughable. I doubt if Yechan was not casted with Dojin this series will have the same impression. Bcs Damn Dojin really ate the Yechan character so good.

-Music : Man, I still keep replaying all of the 3 ost from this series until now, it just way too good. Who ever pick the song for the ost deserve a raise !!!!!!

-Rewatch : Definetly yes!!!!!

So cute and I want a man like Ye Chan in my life

I'll try my best to make this quick.

I loved this show a lot. It was quick and straight to the point.

Chan did a lot of cutesy stuff...that if it was any other character would be cringe. But for some reason whenever he did it. It was the most adorable thing I have ever seen.

When Yul got hurt and Chan was constantly taking care of him even though Yul was fully able to take care of himself. My heart melted.

What I especially liked about this. Yul wasn't ready to admit that he liked Chan yet so he shut him down when Chan confessed. But Chan being the king he is did not want to give up. And I don't ever really see that in dramas. So to see that finally happen. It makes my heart happy.

Who was that white man with the beard? He was doing too much. But he was kinda funny so it made up for his crazy personality. Im so glad Chan didn't listen to EVERYTHING he was saying. Because Bro was definitely on something.

YE CHAN RANT:
I need a man like him in my life right now.

Because he is:
- buff
- strong
- very dense
- tall
- cutesy
- down to earth
- so baby girl
- and doesn't give up easily

Is Ye Chan in real life too much to ask for?...I guess so.

I gave the music a 7.5/10 because why every time something dramatic was happening would that really intense crab rave music start playing? Like no sad piano. no violin. no crying. just crab rave.

In the end, I gave it a 9/10. It was cute and quick to watch.
