the luckiest unlucky person
The story revolves around two characters, Fukuhara and Shinomiya. Initially, Fukuhara is portrayed as a manipulative and "unlucky" person who seems to benefit from being around Shinomiya. However, it becomes clear that some of Fukuhara's misfortunes are due to his own clumsiness and lack of communication skills. Shinomiya, on the other hand, is seen as a lucky and caring individual who is drawn to Fukuhara's lively personality.Fukuhara's abrupt love confession to Shinomiya is initially seen as self-serving, but it becomes evident that Shinomiya has genuine feelings for Fukuhara. Despite this, Fukuhara continues to take advantage of Shinomiya's feelings and luck without showing appreciation. However, as the story progresses, Fukuhara begins to realize the sincerity of Shinomiya's feelings and gradually falls for him, showing remorse for his past actions.
In episode 5, Fukuhara starts acknowledging his feelings for Shinomiya and becomes more protective of him, standing up to those who try to take advantage of Shinomiya's luck. Ultimately, the two characters have an honest conversation, leading to a new beginning in their relationship based on honesty and courage.

It's good, but not outstanding
Should you give this a watch? Sure! It's fluffy, the side characters are fun, the actors are good, the story is trying something, and at times it's really funny. Will it change your life forever? Surely not, but is that what we were asking this drama to do?
This really comes in line with the recent influx of Japanese BL drama. I want to add cookie points for the production team of this drama, because things just...look nice! There are some pretty shots at the aquarium especially, and we get a few moments when the leads seemingly break character which is for the better.

I got ants all over me because of the sweetness
For those who are wondering, this serie is a *happy ending*Things I like about this serie:
- Handsome actors especially Naoya. Such an ikemen.
- A very sweet and attentive seme. No red flags whatsoever.
- Tsundere bottom x pursuing top
- Top notch comedy.
- Followed the original to almost a T.
Things that I somehow didn't like about this serie:
- the randomness of scenes, especially in episode 7 and 8.
- The lack of skinship? Which opens new plot points if there will be a season 2. It's just, for readers who plan to watch this, just keep in mind that that this is a budding love. So there's progress, but do not expect too much.
Cinematography.
- Angles are very nice.
- There is a cloudy and dreamy visage all throughout the series, which makes it a bit hard to view some of the details in the series such as the surroundings. But I guess they did that to limit the part where there is not much of a population, I guess?
- I really love the voice overs and the soliloquy of the characters. It also presented both sides of the main roles which gives a better understanding of the story.
All in all, this is a sweet and good watch. I kept laughing out loud and giggling. I need a Naoya in my life too hahaha. If you liked Takara and Amagi and Cherry Magic, you will definitely love this too. So give it a shot!

Not bad at all
I very much enjoyed watching this. It was very cute and had a nice message sort of. It’s a bit absurd but in a good way.I did miss just a tiny bit more skin ship/kissing, since it kept being hinted on but then they never really delivered, but that’s not a big issue.
My bigger issue was the acting it felt very awkward in a lot of scenes, it wasn’t entirely unwatchable bad though.
Overall I recommend!

Cutest drama ever !!!
OMG!!!I don’t think I’ve ever Fan-girled this hard in my life. The drama was so cute, their relationship developed so well, and there were so many cute and heartwarming scenes between them.
Kota was such a cute and bashful character and I loved his attitude towards life. He had a lot of insecurities, but he never let them affect him.
Naoya on the other hand is one of those people everyone assumes is perfect because of popularity, but also has his own fair share of imperfections he’s too afraid to show.
I love how their contrasting personalities balanced each other, it really helped with their romance. I wish we could have gotten more romantic scenes from them.
The two of them got me all jittery and tingly and I honestly haven’t felt like this in a long time.
This drama was honestly just Eye candy galore. All the side characters were so attractive, this was a heavy bonus.
The only downside for me was that their back and forth got a little too draggy and some of Kota’s kawaii moments were more cringe than cute. But when has cringe ever bothered me.
If you love BL, fluff and cuteness overload with a little bit of cringe, then this drama is perfect for you.

THIS IS THE FLUFFIEST BL I'VE EVER WATCH
I REALLY LOVE THE STORY LINE. How they met, the misunderstood, they were happy together, etc.I didn't expect naoya to know kouta bfr kouta first talked w him. How he met him is just so adorable. Naoya's really adored kouta, and THAT MAKES MY HEART MELTED. And how kouta feels like he only used him, but then he turns out he really likes naoya🥺
THEY ARE SO CUTE AFFF IM CRYING😭😭😭😭😭
I love kouta's transformation to mad anime lmfaooo. PLUS SHINOMIYA IS SO FREAKIN HANDSOME, AND KOUTA IS SO FCKING CUTEEEE.
ILYILY, IM GONNA REWATCH IT.

+ Funny
+ Sometimes more serious than expected
+ Great messages in how love works, what's important in life and that everything can be judged from different points of view.
+ Boundaries were respected
+ The friends of both of them are funny and lovely. I loooove Mugi! He's so cute! 😭 And Saku is so cool!
Room for improvement:
- I really find this japanese typical overacting a bit awkward sometimes
- Acting overall was okay, but a bit stiff. So the chemistry was a bit low. Even though Naoyas behavior is really lovely. But because of the not-so-good acting it got a bit lost
- It would have been great if they showed more progress in the relationship (how they come even closer and more comfortable with each other)
Overall I would recommend it, if you're into funny shows. The overacting is definitely a bit uncomfortable, but not so bad that someone couldn't handle it. The story all in all is not soo exciting, but it's still fun to watch. There are definitely minor serious themes and scenes which make the show a bit better, because although it starts with a lot of comedy, it shows the more serious sites behind the Luck/Unlucky stuff and what it means to them in their daily life. This gives the show more depth, which is nice.
Nothing I would rewatch, but I also don't regret spending my time with it.

Brilliant
I loved everything about this show, it was so funny and enjoyable I would definitely rewatch this a few more times. Kota is adorable, his 'cute' side may be annoying to some but I found him sweet and endearing, of course his 'real' self is even better ☺️. This is one of those shows to watch after a heavy drama or if you just want to watch something light and lift your spirit up.The second ML also did a good job portraying his role, and the chemistry was definitely there, though keep in mind it's a very light Japanese bl, don't come with expectations for a lot of romance, it's more of a comedy than anything else. Definitely 11/10

"Mr Ünglücklich"
Ich muss schon gestehen, die erste Episode hat mich echt nur zum Lachen gebracht. Der arme Kerl hat ja nur Pech in seinem Leben!Die Geschichte zwischen den Protagonisten ist auch sehr interessant dargestellt, denn so eine Art Bl habe ich bis jetzt noch nicht gesehen.
Japaner neigen allgemein dazu, wilde BL-Story Ideen rauszubringen.

This was what I wanted no thoughts just romance <3
The title is genuinely so cute! This was what I wanted no thoughts just romance <3
Towards the end it was a little too much for such a light hearted watch but the gun was fake and was funny after so fine. I really wanted the inner monologue/over the top acting to de-stress so this is probably rated higher than I'd normally give it.
What I needed not necessary an amazing watch.
The ending was perfect!!
Too short want more where they slowly progress in their relationship. Would've loved if they went deeper with the girls and friendships.

Loved This!
I know this won’t be everyone’s cup of tea for a Japanese BL, as it’s a pretty typical BL with cuteness and lots of fluff. But for me, I really enjoyed it. The music drew me in originally as the ost is from the Japanese boy group, Octpath. The plot is very simple and not complicated. It’s a short series and very easy to binge watch in a day. It has some similar themes from Kieta Hatsukoi, Utsukushii Kare, and Cherry Magic. It’s overall a feel good type of drama and you learn a little bit about the characters as the storyline goes along. I recommend watching this if you were a fan of those three BLs mentioned above. I wouldn’t mind a season 2 to further the relationship, but we’ll see.Cet avis était-il utile?
COMICALLY COMEDY WITH LIGHT-HEARTED ROMANCE
Fukou-kun wa Kiss Suru Shikanai! is a pretty decent live-action series. This is definitely a type of a series that you should watch if you want to take a break from all the serious dramas that you are watching and also your life.Story-pacing is one of the strong points of the series. The series is solely focused on the main characters and the situation surrounding them leaving no scope for loose ends.
STORY
Pretty simple with a bombardment of slapstick comedy. I deliberately used the word bombardment for the reason that I found some of the comic elements forcefully incorporated in unnecessary places. Often the serious tone of the series was interrupted by a comic undertone which just spoiled the atmosphere. If the team had just balanced out these two elements then the series would have come out more good.
ACTING
Sota Ryosuke did a pretty decent job in portraying Fukuhara Kota. I loved the duality of his acting but somehow there was something that irked me in his acting. He fell short while portraying certain emotions.
Sato Yusuke on the other hand did a good job in potraying his character Shinomiya Naoya. He just successfully made me feel absolutely single. Still, there were room for improvement but nevertheless he made me like Shinomiya Naoya.
MUSIC
I loved the opening song of the series, it is just so suitable for the series.
REWATCH VALUE
This is typically a kind of series that one would watch again and again without getting bored. The comedy and the light-hearted plot are just perfect for people who want to take their minds off something serious.
I found the ending to be a bit weak which I suppose they could've done better.
