Very sweet and fulfilling, good to watch with family
A 50-min movie tells a very consistent story that's easy to follow, there's no irrelevant info and the pace is just right. This isn't something made for the sake of fujoshis but rather a heartwarming story that you definitely can and should watch with your family or friends. The way the social issues are addressed is quite a rarity in Japanese media (not so much in the West maybe but still) so I'm pleasantly surprised to find a work like this. The visuals and the lighting are really good and well-thought, almost surpring for such a low-budget project. My only problem was the acting that seemed a bit dry here and overly sentimental there - reminded me of older cheap dramas full of overacting. The story is also not that interesting because you can predict literally half of it from the start, but it still has a hearwarming message so you can easily ignore those drawbacks.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be motivated enough to ever rewatch it alone, but I might show it to my family or friends who don't enjoy your average BL content.

Simple, cute, story
This makes a perfect light watch before sleep, or when you're in between shows, or taking a break from overbinge of something else lol...It's cute and nice show. Nothing fancy, I mean it's only an hour
I'd say, its kinda, its okay to miss it, but it also doesnt hurt to watch
Thats the kind of show this is, one of the ML is real cute though.

An emotion roller coaster
We're Both Grooms has only 50 minutes screentime but it gives us everything: chaotic moments, heartwarming scenes, family bond, social acceptance and especially education about LGBT+ community and their disadvantages in Japan, which many full-length shows don't even mention just a little bit. At the end of it, after cracking up so many times that I alr lost count, I find myself ugly sobbing about their honest confession and their true intention for making each other happy with the cheering from family and friends. I wholeheartedly wish for their lifelong happiness.I purely love this one so much and to me it's a 10/10 show bc I don't think anything could be better done than this. 50 minutes of emotion roller coasters ended beautifully with a warm wedding! If you have never watched this one, pls watch it right now. I myself watched more than 10 times!!
