While watching the earlier episodes, I couldn't believe that the rating was 7.5 because it had some fun things going for it! I like the actor for the ML and the high energy of events was great.

As the story continued, I saw how the story fell apart, the FL didn't really grow, even though I know love doesnt need a reason...I couldn't really figure out why ML and 2ML were so infatuated with FL. Worst offense was after all the hard work, we don't get to see the big final performance.

I thought some of the music was really cool and some of the side characters were awesome! I like the vice captain girl that quietly held everything together and there was never once a hint that she had feelings for the captain. She was strong and on her own path to figuring out her self worth! Poor thing got buried in a frustrating show...

I didn't expect this, I guess we all cheer differently or the screenwriter didn't have a clue about being a cheerleader. I was one, and we surely didn't cheer like that. Honestly, I'm not putting this drama down... different cultures do different things. I'm not going to name the actors and actresses in this drama but I will give them their due respect. All did very well. I don't know why the writers had to have someone evil in their plot. I do have a favorite actor in this but he got cheated out of it all in the storyline. I knew he was going to catch the girl because was 3rd in line. The younger generation might enjoy this but that evil plot should have stayed out.

loved it

a lot of people call cheer up mediocre but i actually loved it so much! i was team sunho until he kept pursuing haeyi after she rejected him and it got annoying but then i actually started to love jungwoo even though he was not my favorite at first. ep15 made me really emotional and i don't know if it's just me but i cried like half the episode because i really understood haeyi. her character is soo cute and authentic, i think it's so fun to watch a fl this bubbly! i love how open she is about her love for money lol

i really enjoyed watching this series and i love han jihyun even more now, i hope she gets many more lead roles in the future. she has been my favorite actress since 'penthouse' and this solidified it! i loved seeing everything with the cheering squad and i grew really attached to them and was genuinely really sad when i finished the drama.

also i want to add i am someone who can get really bored when watching dramas (and drop the whole series if i don't like it), but each episode had me hooked! i usually don't really like romcoms so the mystery genre made it a lot more interesting. also the cast is amazing?? bae inhyuk, han jihyun, and jang gyuri in one drama? a must watch imo. if you are seeing bad reviews and debating whether or not to watch it, don't listen and give it a shot!! i promise it's worth it. this kdrama is probably in my top 20 now and i have seen over 100.. i really loved the cheering squad and the ending was satisfying!

A juventude é agora!

Como eu tinha dito, se eu tivesse acontecido ele teria sido horrível me despedir. Eu AMEI tanto! Dramas que se passam na mesma idade e época assim que eu tô vivendo (20 anos, faculdade) me deixa muito sentimental, todas as minhas emoções ficam a flor da pele, principalmente pelo difícil momento que eu tive comigo mesma e sinto que encontrei meu caminho aos poucos e claro que tem obstáculos mas eles foram feitos para eu não desistir e continuar seguindo em frente. Cheer up mais uma vez trouxe isso a tona! Que eu não posso esquecer da minha juventude, que esses são os anos dourados que estou vivendo e os anos que lembrarei com muito gosto. E que delícia é poder dizer que estou vivendo isso, não ainda como eu gostaria pois queria estar fazendo mais, porém cada coisa no seu tempo. Cheer up trouxe muita lição, muito amor e amizade, muita alegria e choro.
Claro que o triângulo teve momentos desnecessários mas tudo se encaixou direitinho depois. Eu amei a química dos personagens, toda a construção em volta da torcida e como isso era importante por apenas fazer parte, por gostar. A coisa pela qual vale a pena. Eu amei os casais, muito fofos. Amei a amizade de todos eles, o elo que criaram, sunja e hae yi!!! ??
A hae yi foi incrível, não tenho palavras, ela foi excepcional, o sorriso no rosto, a alegria, a vontade, a felicidade com as pequenas coisas. Ela e o Jung woo me fizeram felizes ?
Queria muito falar de cada personagem, eu amei cada um, foi incrivel acompanhar a história deles. E o final foi a coisa mais linda do mundo, toda a retrospectiva com o grupo, cada um no trabalho. Foi uma delicia, chorei horrores
Que delícia passar meus primeiros dias de férias ao lado de vocês! Obrigada cheer up por ficar na minha memória. ?

Faculdade, líderes de torcida, triângulo amoroso, atores bonitos e atrizes maravilhosas. Protagonista doidinha e engraçada, o prota fofo e gostoso. Personagens cativantes e divertidos. Um mistério por causa de uma profecia. Amizade e juventude.
O mais legal foi descobrir como são as torcidas lá na coreia, achei muito interessante e lindo de se ver!
Apesar de passar raiva com o roteiro, eu não esperava um final tão perfeito, mas o roteirista surpreendeu demais! Não poderia ter final melhor do que esse pra esses personagens tão incríveis. Cheer up Theia!

You can enjoy it

If you want a comedy romcom dram then it's really good...... In my point of view it should be 13 episode.. But it's OK.. I enjoyed a lot because of some slow motion scene and a best chemistry between main lead.. You Will enjoy the whole drama if you are a fan of Bae in-hyuk.... I fell in love with female lead because i found her a good actress ??..... Sorry guys if you are here for kim jin (sun ho) then i totally disagree.. Because his behavior and carrying everything it isn't love because a normal male best friend will do the same for his female best friend... So... Give it a try ❤️

self explanatory

i loved the cast and at the beginning of watching the show i was so excited for what it could’ve been but it kept disappointing every single time it had potential. weak storyline, infuriating characters especially the second lead and overall just a show that could’ve developed on a lot of aspects.

i loved the cast, they casted perfectly for the roles but the storyline is what lacked a lot. the writer kept giving potential for the second lead - when the audience was already frustrated by him already by being forceful to the FL.

i dropped it half way through because it started to get predictable - the thriller aspect didn’t suit the concept they begun with is also another factor that is quite off putting.

Cheer Up and go for this drama

So basically started watching this because i had no other business in life(i do have to go to university)
Also another reason it's just been a month that I started University so campus life dramas are kinda what i am searching for.

I love how the story is coming out and also the mystery that this drama holds is quite interesting as well apart from all the love triangles and stuffs.

I love the friendships but also I want the SML to go slow but it's fine I get it.

All over the acting and the plot is great go for this drama if you want a light hearted drama(atleast that is what I thought when i started but it isn't a light hearted one ?)

NO CHEMISTRY AT ALL !NO CHOERENT STORY!NOTHING IMPORTANT! WASTE OF TIME!

I was looking for university/friendship/romance genre plots SO
when you first read the script it may seem simple to watch based on the genre of story (the poor female lead searching for job and the male who lost his first love and they meet in the following story when she makes him remembering her...) BUT unfortunately this is not the right way embodied at all.
The mystery side is not the really one I am feeling, just is not attractive to wonder who is this one behind the threaten for the cheering squad.
I was looking for when there will be something touching in this weird story but can't find something interesting, I am saying this with just first 4 episodes,
AND all of this adding to the deadly silly annoying second male lead Sun Ho (KILLING ME WITH HIS AWFUL CHARACTER) who is bringing the most thing repellent in all this story.
The most funny side he was dumped million times by the first female lead and still sticking by her side like a glue :)
HE SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AND TITELED AS THE MOST ANNOYING SECOND MALE LEAD
Secondly the cold first male Jung Woo lead which is playing this dull and lifeless role really sucking me, at least he should show some more facial expressions!
The first female lead Hae Yi is over energetic and playing in some ways rightly better than others BUT
when it comes to romance she and the first male lead are like a wall and they are not fitting to each other (the same applying to Hae Yi and Sun Ho)
The second female lead should be not given a main role because I didn't find any importance to have a fourth main lead and she can be added as a plain member of the cheering squad.
All the other characters were not suitable due to the lack of the interesting and attracting elements in story.
One thing JUST is postive the ambiance felt with the large audience they make with this great performance as a cheering squad.
FINALLY WHAT I WANT TO SAY THIS IS SO BORING LEADS AND EXTREMELY POOR SCRIPT WRITTEN,
AND IT WAS DELAYED FOR A MONTH ALMOST BUT DON'T DESERVE TO BE WATCHED AT ALL AND AVOID WAITING IN VAIN!!!!!!!
THE LOW RATING GRADUALLY PUSH ME TO DROP IT WITH SURELY JUDJING FROM WATCHING SOME OF THIS BAD SERIES.
DON'T FORGET THE FACT THAT IT HAD BROKEN THE WORLD RECORD IN POSTPONING!
SO JUST RUN AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE!

This drama is so entertaining.

If you enjoy campus or sporty dramas this one is for you. I like the chemistry between the female lead and the male lead. I started this drama because of my friend's recommendation and it turned out to be fun. Not only does this drama focus on romance, but the genre of this drama also includes mystery and suspense. The suspense between the characters got me gripping the edge of my seat! Every single episode continued to surprise me I couldn't quit thinking about how much I loved it! Even with the slow burn, I still enjoyed every single encounter between the female lead and the male lead!

update:
I ended up dropping it. Everything started great, not until the drama made the second lead look like a psychopath who couldn't accept being rejected by the woman he liked. What annoyed me was the fact that the second lead had more screen time than the male lead. The drama made it look like the second lead (sunho) was the male lead. The plot got worse and worse. The only thing I could say about the drama is that started off great. I would not recommend it.

Cheer Up! Everything's gonna be O.K.

There is a serious loss and disgust of campus spirit from students that wants to do away with the Theia Cheer team.

They got to deal with misplace funds from previous capt.
Then the Dean cut even more of their funding.
But the worse trouble for them all is the prophecies a former cheer turned shamen foretold back in the 90s and with two prophecies that came true there is that (up)pending third.

With the lack of members the Cheer future on campus looks dim.

A 'prickly by the book' ML going through some personal demons
A 'bubbly bright' focus on her money FL
A SML who has openly display his affection for FL.
A rich eccentric lurking about the Cheer team.
A 'was that a scene of a murder' ??

I'd like to add everything mention above has been laid out in the first 30 minutes of the drama which mean for a 16 episode drama I'm expecting 5-8 episodes being fillers for secondary acting :)

And that is ok, i like this idea for a uni drama- I'll watch this one and see where it goes.
