Just my thoughts…
So, I don’t mind how short it is, though it would have made more sense as a movie than a show. However, the acting made it obvious it was shot both on a budget as well as on a time crunch, not to say the acting was bad, just sorta rushed. Despite this and the lack of knowing much about any of the characters except for one day in their pasts, I still got pretty attached to the characters. I was a little disappointed they chose to market this as a romantic Bl instead of a tragedy, because I was expecting and rooting for him to live. I guess the plot twist did make it more interesting and wholesome, though.Cet avis était-il utile?
Wonky and hot vampire romance
Kissable Lips lives up to its name in the sense that said lips are truly extremely kissable. But, for obvious reasons, the kiss doesn't actually take place until towards the end- and when it does happen, the twenty seconds kiss is totally worth the wait. A dying vampire, Jun Ho, finds a solution to save himself on a chance encounter with fellow college student, Min Hyun and falls for him in the process of making Min Hyun fall for him. The story is that simple and basic; surprising considering that it deals with a heavy subject-death. It derives its charm from the excellent acting, Chemistry (with a capital C- that eight in the rating is solely for that, and the sexual tension) and visuals of the leads, the lilting background score and the picturesque shots of cinematography. It is well paced and gives due weightage to its characters, without going overboard with any of them. However, the story takes far too many creative liberties with the plot and leaves room for a lot of explanation. There is no prologue to how vampires came to exist, which wouldn't have been a problem if the plot's focus was not on the death of one. Alright, they exist, but how? Min Hyun's brother seems to know all about vampires but what is his source? Did something related happen to their parents? He also disappears after warning Min Hyun about Jun Ho and learning his brother likes a vampire, which is in contradiction to his paranoid actions until then. After knowing where Min Hyun was spending his after school time, was his brother suddenly okay with Min Hyun's decision? What do Hae Soo's red eyes signify? And is his ending justified or necessary? And the biggest question of all that is left hanging and forgotten- who exactly is Ok Mi Ran? If she's a vampire, why does she look old (seeing that other vampires are young), if she's not, what was she doing with that bag and how did she become friends with the vampires? Turning, which is usually a big thing in any vampire/werewolf/creature stories, is glaringly missing. It's not mentioned even once.
Realistically, it's probably impossible to address all the above issues, but a single line here and there, even in passing, about at least the most obvious of the problems, wouldn't have hurt the narrative. That said, I'm impressed with the ending, with the choices they make and the future both decide to face, with the ending the show decides to give the viewers and how. It's not often that the pain and beauty of love are so well portrayed. Kissable Lips has a melancholic air to it that is masked by the romantic effervescence between the leads, until the very last minute of the drama. It's maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but those who taste it, will definitely find it enjoyable.

Should've Sucked The Blood
First off, I love this concept. Vampires are kind of my thing, so when I heard of a vampire BL I freaked! However, another short series? Really Korea, we should again KNOW BETTER. Everything happened wayyyy too fast in this plot-wise, to where it got super muddled. However, I kind of give it a pass for how amazing the chemistry was between Jun Ho and Minhyun. Btw Minhyun's actor reminds me of Byeongkwan from ACE. Is it just me?OKAY KISS. That's my first point lol. Though the cut to them just naked had me dying XD. I was like excuse me WHAT!? But regardless, even the way these two stare at each other is very intense. I felt like I was intruding a little bit even though this was a show. That's when you know there's sparks there. The chemistry calls for a season 2 STAT! Moving on from the spice. This series got sad really really quickly due to its quick pace and lack of time. Jun Ho is dying and refuses to suck Minhyun's blood at fear of killing him. I get that, however HE CANT SEE by the end. Wtf writers!? That was so depressing when he dropped the ring. Also him disappearing in Minhyun's arms, I felt like deteriorating after that.
Random question. How did Minhyun's brother know about vampires...? It could've been mentioned in the plot, but I was too busy being shook by the gaze of these two to notice. Even though Jun Ho disappeared by the end, I could still see them trying to continue the story on. Though I don't think sad endings are always bad endings like some viewers. This one can do with some work though. Please..the audience deserves it for tuning in these past few weeks!

my opinion
Overall the story plot was kind of confusing at first because I didn't realize it was switching between past and present tense until the death scene but other than that it was pretty okay I wish the relationships and drama scenes were a little more developed and we got more background on the relationship between the brother and Min Hyun and then Jun Ho and the human he killed and Hae Soo history but moving on...... NAH MAN WHAT KIND OF FINALE WAS THAT LIKR SERIOUSLY I THOUGHT IT WAS GONE BE SOME TANGLED TYPE OF ENDING A TEARDROP AND A L LOT OF WISHING WILL BRING HIM BACK NOT THIS SAD HUN OF TRAGICNESS (if that's even a word)anyways that is all I came here to say goodbye and enjoy the show

Just a bingeworthy fast food delivery
I would describe my experience with this series like when i open my phone and get a delivery from McDonald's. We al know that it's trash food, yeah it's bad, but while eating it, it feels good and gets you full. The acting is quite bad, so the writting and pace of events, but i quite enjoyed it for a plain binge and now move on. The theme itself is quite cliché but not that much in BL territory so i give it a pass. The actors are insanely cute and they actually had chemistry together and kissed properly. I thought that my standards on that got higher, but after watching 2gether the movie the other day and some trash where the actors are totally unconfortable with portraying gay characters, this is already (and sadly) a point of improvement and a thing to praise here. Liked how it ends, not how is constructed and told, but i liked that they didn't go for the power of love conquers all.
I would have a different opinion and give it a lower ranking if this was 16 eps of 50 minutes each, like if this was a menu from a good restaurant. I want more quality in BL land overall, and the second half of the year has been the worse, but i don't mind some basic and a bit bland fast food once in a while.
So, i'm clearly hungry.
Watch it if you are bored and don't expect much from it.

The performances were good overall, if a bit over the top in Yoon Seo Bin's case, but he was so endearing and cute I wasn't annoyed by it. The plot is okay and interesting, minus a few moments that were a little weird. But where the drama really excelled was in showing the instant interest between the two main characters and the excitement of new love. Watching them interact was adorable and heartwarming, and I loved the way their relationship evolved.
I'm not a huge fan of the ending, to me it wasn't satisfying and also didn't really make sense, but the rest was lovely and it didn't ruin the drama for me at all, as it sometimes can.
Overall I recommend this if you're looking for a fun, fast watch with a bit of angst and a good romance.

Nice delve into the supernatural
gonna say the ending wasn't what I was expecting to be honest, but I guess it was expected & realistic. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this series more than I thought. It was cute and a bit fluffy with some angst thrown in.The acting was pretty good here. Both the leads were good and had a good chemistry with each other. I think the acting and the music was the best & my favorite part. The Supernatural parts of the story were a nice change from the ordinary. Plus, I kinda always wanted to watch a vampire bl and Kissable Lips gave me that. It would have worked better as a movie than a movie broken into several parts but it was enjoyable still.
Episode 8 gave me feels, I teared up at the end. When a series does that to me, then it's done its job. Hopefully Korean BL's will change the plots more in the future like they did with this series. Thailand has done that, it's Korea's turn now. Would I watch this again? Probably but not soon enough. Need more time to digest the ending.
Overall, I'll give this series an 8.5. Sure, the plot lacked in some areas but for the most the story flowed well. The acting gets the highest score from me 9.0. I would recommend the series to anyone who wants a supernatural bl. It's got good scenes and themes.

A show with much potential
First of all i have to admit that the action was on point and i just fell in love with Kim ji woongI need more series/movies with him pllsss
The story was quite unique and not as tiring as some other bl series
It didn’t‘t take me long to get fond of the characters
I definitely didn‘t like the end and i wanted to murder the writer at that point but leaving my emotions aside the end actually did make sense and i guess i just have to get over it :(
But all in one it was a interesting series and i would give it a 10 out of 10 if there wasn‘t that stupid las episode

Reviewers Are Missing the Gorilla In the Living Room
The single biggest gripe from most of the reviewers is the ending. But good heavens! I am a professional writer, have written for television and movies, as well as lots of books and stories. And it could not be plainer that this is the first half of a two-series story. There is a saying among writers - if you show a gun, you have to shoot it at some point. In this case, the "gun" is the ring, which we deliberately know nothing about. And we won't find out what it really means until Season 2. Which is definitely coming. Absent issues like financing or another plague, in fact, I guarantee it.

Watch only if you have nothing to watch or just want something on in the background.
This is the lowest, I have ever rated a drama. The only thing that I liked in this whole drama was Yoon Seo Bin, who plays the non vampire main lead. He is definitely a newbie and that shines through in his acting, but you can see potential. He was adorable throughout the drama, like a puppy you just want to put in your pocket. The other ML did an okay job but nothing too memorable, so in all the acting was quite lackluster. In terms of plot, it is so underdeveloped its not even funny. There are the makings of a few good ideas, albeit cliche, but nothing was executed well. A lot of plot points were actually left unexplained, and left my puzzled by the end of it. I was wondering who this or that person really is, and why they did the things they did. In fact, it seems like the writers had no idea too and just used underdeveloped ideas and static characters to further the story. The ability to tell a plot rich story with complex characters in such a short time is a hard feat, and one that this drama could not achieve.
If you really have nothing to watch, or don't have a lot of time or energy to invest into a different drama, then go ahead and pick this up. But if you are looking for something that keeps your eyes glued to your screen, skip it.

More Time
First I gotta say this is by far my favorite Korean BL! Yes, it's short but unfortunately that's just the way it is with Korea. There were visuals for miles and even though it was short you got the general idea of the story. There were no unnecessary characters/plot holes so obviously, with more time this would've been perfect. Overall I'm satisfied but I give the ending a -infinity/10 lmao That ending was some bs. It's worth the watch if you want something simple with a little bit of fluffy cheesiness. Definitely recommend to a BL newbie but if you're looking for lust you won't find it here.Enjoy...

I hated the glowing eyes
Every time I watch bl I try to shut my brain off, watch with no expectations of a decent plot. Unfortunately you can’t really shut your brain off and can’t help but hope that somehow the bl won’t be that bad. This was uh haha let’s say I don’t have words for it.Be warned spoilers ahead….
What I disliked
1.I hate the “Im willing to die for you” kind of love that comes from nowhere. I mean you barely know this person, and even after you just found out he initially wanted to use you and kill you to save his ass you still wanna spend eternity with him?
2.I hate when people go like “my brother is too caring, why he is always checking up on me to be assured that I’m safe.” That to me is being ungrateful.
I would like to believe that after you were kidnapped as a child and even now as an adult your are fond of spending times with hot strangers you barely know, your brother has every reason to be worried.
3.Why the heck did the main lead kill his bff? He could have stopped him from hurting his ka lover without having to kill him. But nooo, his loyalty is to this lover he’s known for two seconds. Also, I thought as someone soon to die he is weaker than his bff who is full of life, how the heck is he stronger than bff?
4.I also recall the vampire main lead hurting some other student in the bathroom. So, main lead is bad person.
5.I was disappointed by the ending, but not because one of them died. If anything I wanted both of them to die. The vampire guy had no problem killing his first human lover for fun and somehow now that his life is at stake he can not bring himself to kill his new lover even if it means he has to die himself? How does this even work? Was his first love not strong enough to give in to the bloodthirst? Also like others have pointed out, he could have found ways to drink his now lover’s blood without having to kill him.
