Jay's the best
Watched almost 10 episodes of this just because of ZeeNunew and NuerSyn but I got tired, this relationships just look so toxic, like Nuea doesn't even feel safe to tell his lover about his interests. And it also looks like these people can't kiss without having sex, like chill bro the world ain't ending. Anyways I've watched worse things so... Also I love Jay so much, he's the best character in all of this series.Cet avis était-il utile?

It was really boring for me as least
At the beginning is was going good but after it just got straight up BORING. It felt like the screenwriters got tired. It kinda goes nowhere tbh. Also TutorYim barely got no screen time at all.
btw I kinda only watched it for Yim ‘-‘
But music was good! Kept dancing to it.

Perfect series to watch if you want to de-stress
I personally enjoyed watching this series despite the negative reviews from some. I just love that the story is not that heavy and I don't need to spend much time stressing over the characters. This gave me the right amount of hurt and comfort, misunderstanding trope (which for some reason a personal favorite) and the perfect resolution for the ending. Also, I sooo love the casts, especially the way Zee and Nunew gave life to their characters. They really gave their best for this series and it's evident with how they deliver every emotion for the dramatic scenes.
Overall, it has flaws and the plot was not perfect but I can let those off since its entertainment value is quite high, at least for me and I wasn't really stressed after watching all the episodes. Great series for those who love a stress-free binge to realx on a weekend.

Amei demais
Gostei muito desse bl. Me prendeu do inicio ao fim. Me prendeu do inicio ao fim. Beautiful romance with amazing actors
This show is very beautiful both zee and nunew are fantastic and show real emotion and have a believable romance that is beautiful. The love scenes are some of the best I have ever watched with consent and a lovely soundtrack, they are very sweet and extremely romantic. There is nothing toxic about this series. It is wholesome and has some sad moments but they are resolved. I am in love with this series, It is so perfect and rewatchable because of the beautiful story that breaks stereotypes with an arranged gay marriage which is the first of its kind I have seen in a drama. You will love this if you want to see a beautiful drama with sensual love scenes and wholesome relationships with great chemistry! The main couple and side couples are lovely to watch as they progress in their relationships and begin to trust each other. This is my top series of 2022 so far.

My Guilty Pleasure
Cutie Pie started out so good but somewhere along the line it lost its way. The story was never that entertaining in the first place tho a story about two men being engaged caught my interest. In that aspect it was interesting but only til episode 2. After that the story became about: lies, lies, lies, secrets, more lies and misunderstandings between the main couple. That became really frustrating. Not to mention the worst was a 20yr old acting like a 2yr old toddler for most of the series. Where was his development? I guess he got some in the finale. Was it enough? No butI digress. If it wasn't for NuNew's talent I'd probably would have hated Kuea. Truth be told it was NuNew, Zee, Nat and Max who saved this series for me with their acting. That's why I gave it a 10.Despite my above rant, I did enjoy it and stuck with it til the end. That was mostly because of the fan service XD. Both Zee/NuNew and Max/Nat had incredible chemistry which made this series watchable aside from their sketchy characters it was fun watching them make out even if the sex scenes didn't make sense at times. That's why I call it my guilty pleasure I was literally just watching for that in the end. The story lost its way long before halfway.
I did like the finale tho and the message that the writers, producer and director along with the cast were trying to send which was equality, marriage and lgbtq+ rights. Not many series go for social commentary and CP + Not Me before it, did. That's why I gave it an 8.0 overall because of the cast, the message they were trying to deliver and the beginning. If the story wouldn't have lost it's way, my rating would have been higher.
Would I rewatch? Probably but after awhile. But, mostly for the fanservice and music.

A Cute Piece of Pie, But A Hot Mess Of A Show
This show I had zero expectations for. I gotta admit I am not a huge fan of Zee. I saw him in "Why R U" and did not like his character or acting at all. I think he pushes it too far with these roles. This one however was a lot more suitable for him. NuNew also did a great job in his role, though his character frustrated me often in this. Like boo just be yourself! Though their relationship was rocky, it was also entertaining and hot! So I let it slide because I was engaged in it. Nat and Max I saw in "Y-Destiny" and liked them there. So I was excited to see them again, though it wasn't everything I could've hoped for. Their relationship was veryyyy slow paced, but cute once it got going. Our third couple I could've cared less about and skipped through their scenes after awhile. I wish series didn't push for the third couple so much. It's too much on the plot and unnecessary. The only time that 3 couples worked seamlessly was in UWMA.The humor in this is spot on. I really had a few good laughs! The plot though kinda disheveled was fun and I hope to see these two main characters in another series. I guess there's a sequel happening so that's cool! I just don't want anymore family drama please. That was frustratingggg. The plot wasn't executed the best but overall watching this was a good time.

SO GOOD
I don't know why so many people dislike it but okay everyone has a different opinion. I agree that the storyline isn't the best and i thought this kind of story would be better but it still didn't dissapoint. I had many feelings during the whole series: happiness, anger, excitement, sadness, butterflies. If I have these kind of emotions it means i really like the series. The acting is a 10/10. I am especially surprised by Nunew's acting and I can't believe that it's his first time. There is also not a single song that i don't like. The couple's were a bit problematic at the beginning but they developed so well. The series shows us how important communication in a relationship is. Kuea had in his mind that his parnter won't accept him the way he is. And Lian had secrets behind his back like knowing everything. But after watching everything we could understand their characters more and their actions. They could have done better but then there wouldn't be any drama in the series hahaha. Plus the proposal scene was literally the most beautiful scene I've ever seen!!!As for the second couple... i really don't understand the story of Diao and Yi. I agree that their story is really toxic and i just don't understand them. At first I was so happy about them but after Yi ignored Diao after their kiss i was so confused how their relationship even started and why. Even after we saw a bit of their past i am still confused and just don't understand. I didn't really enjoy their story :/
BUT THE COUPLE I REALLY ENJOYED WAS NUEA AND SYN. I LOVED their relationship. I am so sad that we got such a little bit of them :( i really hope we could see more in the special episodes. They are so adorable together!!! I was screaming the whole time when i saw them together *-*
All in all, Cutie Pie is now my fav series. I really enjoyed it and it was a great feeling supporting the series while it was ongoing and being there since the Pilot Trailer. And i don't only like the series but the actors as well. I an so glad to be a ZonZon now because i really love ZeeNunew and ofc all actors. I think their chemistry made the series a lot better. I don't care about kisses, NC scene. I just want a beautiful relationship. And i cannot wait to see the special episodes so we can see how healthy LianKuea's relationship is after their problem.

Cutie Pie? More like a Hot Mess!!
First of all, whoever named the series "Cutie Pie" needs to be fired. This was not cute. It was a literal Hot Mess! Cute, is not knowing how to confess and running in circles because you just had your first kiss. Steamy is when you have sexy half-naked men hugging, kissing, and getting way too close to each other for more than half of all of the episodes that it's impossible for me to watch this series in front of my parents. Now that I'd done making fun of the series, Cutie Pie wasn't too bad... If you don't really care for plot and are just looking for two hot guys that really need to get a room. The plot was all over the place, but it comes together by the end of the series. Until then though, it does feel like a slow burn with the characters always pushing each others buttons in a constant game of tug-of-war that lasts all 12 episodes.
~~ STORY ~~
Hia Lian and Kuea Keerati have been engaged with each other since they were children. Kuea come from a very old, prestigious and wealthy household while Hia Lian's family recently gained their wealth through their water bottle business. Both families have agreed that the two boys will marry when Kuea graduated college. Until then they have been going on weekly dates. Kuea is head over heels for Hia Lian. He loves playing drums, singing, and super cars, but in front of Hia Lian, he plays the good boy card.
One day Kuea asks Hia Lian if he loves him. The later replies "No," which saddens and angers Kuea to the point he calls off the engagement. Hia Lian says they cannot cancel their engagement and begins to pester Kuea.
Meanwhile, Kuea's best friend Khondiao, and Hia Lian's best friend Hia Yi also have problems of their own. Khondiao has been living at Hia Yi's mansion at the later's request, but lately Hia Yi is starting to get too over protective. They aren't even dating, yet Hia Yi's setting curfews for Khondiao to come home.
First of all, the premise of the story isn't bad. However, the first episode was hard to watch. It was really all over the place. It was like the director had so many ideas that were hastily crammed into the first episode. I promise, once you get through that first episode the rest of the series is a little more easy to watch.
That being said, the plot was still all over the place and the game of cat and mouse was really annoying because the couples didn't resolve anything until the last episode. Every time you think they would get together, they don't. Even that beautiful proposal was ruined because Kuea overthinks every little thing. These two have major communication issues!!
Also, as I said earlier, this series has a lot of steamy scenes.... Way too many if you consider that they are having steamy scenes yet they haven't even gotten together for more than half of the scenes.
HIA LIAN X KUEA
Kuea seems like a good boy that's trying to be a bad boy. Why is he hiding everything from Hia Lian? Hia Lian... I don't know what game he's playing. Both boys got along well as kids, yet as adults they suddenly are hiding secrets from each other? I don't buy it, especially if they have been going on dates every friday.
P.S. I really like Kuea and Hia Lian together towards the end of the series. They are cute together... But I think they really need to work on communication and not hiding secrets.
HIA YI X KHONDIAO
Hia Yi and Khondiao are... interesting. At first, I thought they were already dating, but it turns out they are not. Also, midway though the series Hia Yi and Khondiao start having issues with their living arrangement. It was sudden, but I wish it started more towards the beginning of the series. And again, like their best friends, this couple also has major communication issues.
NUER X SYN
These two need their own series. They were my favorite couple. They really brought out the "cutie pie" aspect of this series, where they rest of the couples fail at it. They couple also has my favorite kiss scene... possibly out of all the BLs I've seen. So cute and sweet.
Anyways, Nuer was brought in to seemly become Hia Lian's rival for Kuea's heart, but Nuer doesn't really act on it. Which I wish he did because it would have made the plot more interesting. However, I am content with Nuer immediately taking an interest in Syn's protectiveness of Kuea. I really liked Nuer from the moment he showed up on screen. Syn, however.... He made no real impact when he was first introduced, so it was surprising that he was also a minor lead.
~~ ACTING ~~
** Scratch that. The steamy scenes. **
Everything, including the acting, was overshadowed by the steamy scenes.
I already knew that since Zee was cast, he was going to have some steamy scenes, but I think they gave him too many. It really overshadowed the acting because once the steamy scenes start, it starts to feel like an adult video because Zee is that good at it. I really don't remember much of the acting because of it. Who was acting opposite of Zee again?
Also, another reason I really think Zee had too many steamy scenes, because when it was time for Max and Nat to have their steamy scene, I found myself comparing it to Zee's when I shouldn't be.
~~ OVERALL ~~
Cutie Pie isn't a bad watch. It's very steamy with little a chaotic plot, but it's fun to watch.
My favorites were the cameos in episode 7 and 12. The cameos were so random, but they were interesting. Episode 7 was funny since Prem and Boun suddenly show up and start playing Never Have I Ever with the couple with every little background on who these two are.
Anyways, I recommend watching Cutie Pie just for Nuer and Syn's kiss, Zee's steamy scenes, and Prem and Boun's cameo. The other parts of the series I couldn't care for.

dragged out
I was going to watch this when it came out, but I had no time, and now I do, so I am about to start watching this in a few minutes. Finished it. Hot take: I liked the scattered plotting, the credits rolling as I wrote this, and I liked every second of this and the randomness. I'd give it a 9/10 because they dragged it out over the last two episodes. I liked the acting; it was cool. I'm happy I finally watched this! There weren't many scenes in which I felt like genuinely hurting someone on the screen, which was also a plus. They definitely could have ended it on the 10th episode. They had no reason to drag it out just to do the same thing. It could have ended sooner for sure.Cet avis était-il utile?
