Not bad~

I thought the first half was a bit too cheerful for my taste but it got realer (yeah that's not a word) as the show went on. I hope there are more depth and dark sides to the show later on.

I acc don't know how to feel about this drama

First of all, dramacool's bitchasses take forever to put up the new eps and the subs for this drama so tbh I'm surprised that I've even watched the first ep, despite it being aired ages ago. This is why I can only give a review for the first ep sorry lol. Also, MAJOR SPOILER WARNING plus I end up rambling a bit about kdramas as well (specifically The Heirs and Start Up) so read at your own risk. But tbh Black Cinderella isn't worth watching so should you really care whether or not it gets spoiled to you? lmaoOnce again I have fallen into the trap of watching a shitty drama just because of one actor playing a minor role. Start Up Syndrome, I like to call it. And yes, Start Up fucked up my mental health and now I'm too emotionally attached to Lee Chulsan but it seems that I have yet to learn my fucking lesson because guess what? I'm now watching Black Cinderella because of Suzuki Airi (watch me become emotionally attached to her character as well). The start of this episode was actually alright. The OST is just *chef's kiss* and Airi is so damn pretty (as always). Man that dress was pretty as hell. In conclusion, Airi supremacy <3The best way I could probably describe this drama is like a Walmart The Heirs, but about 10x more shitty with an element of True Beauty and Boys Over Flowers. This drama will probably give me strong second lead syndrome, I can feel it. That Sora guy is giving me war flashbacks to other second leads that deserved the girl (i.e. Yoon Ji-hoo and Han Jipyeong) and I honestly don't know how to feel about that. Aside from that, I feel like the story is going way too fast and it's just chaotic and all over the place. Alright, I get that its only 8 episodes in total but it starts off with Manaha and Keigo being late to school, then there's a beauty pageant, next thing you know Manaha is in the bloody hospital and ends up with a nasty scar, then she overhears Yuri talking shit about her and then she attempts suicide and next thing you know, Yuri is being all nice to her again. Keep in mind all this has happened in one episode that's around 50 minutes long. Maybe I'm just too accustomed to kdramas (I mean, in Start Up the main lead was only introduced in the last few minutes of the first episode and only started interacted with the FL in episode 3, and in The Heirs it took 5 episodes for the leads to end up at the same school) but MAN this shit was chaotic. I'll keep watching so I can write shitty reviews on this hellsite and regret my life choices even more but yea :) don't be like me kids :)
