les dialogue sont INTERMINABLE et l'épisode au complet tourne autour de la meme itrigue que l'épisode précédent ils auraient coupé la moitié de l'épisode que ca n'aurait absolument rien changé a la continuité de l'histoire

So... FL's mom was like that... As expected for someone who fought in the battlefield. Poor FL tho. You know I rlly love that FL's father really love her. Usually the father, especially the military man wld be quite strict and ruthless but in this story it was the wife.

Main female lead seems like a heartless pretending b*ch. She planned dor a 10 yo boy to be attacked by bees, it could've killed him! She snitches on her uncle and lets him be caught without any consideration, doubt or remorse. Of course she was abandoned and all that, but she seems to be the biggest villain yet.

ALLLLL the females are showcasing their acting chops and I am HERE for it. Very dynamic characters but the developments have me on the edge of my seat

May '23 This is my 5th rewatch -- why? Because I haven't found any new historical storylines that can catch and keep me interested; so here's my update for Episode 2 -- mother is unraveling CSS' mischievous antics and the misunderstandings that begin to take place between mother and daughter. Still funny and light hearted drama, though serious. Meanwhile, General Ling Buyi's investigation into the Cheng's family is also unraveling the uncle's involvement and how his beginnings of intrigue of CSS.
Jul '22 Repeat comment --- but it should have been listed as a comedy also --- I'm warming up to the Chengs --- Love Lusi! She never disappoints... waiting to see who shines besides her and Leo... At first I wasn't going to watch because I loved Leo in TLB with Reba -- glad I did... completed first 12 episodes in a day & a half... couldn't turn it off.

So in this episode, viewers get to learn a bit more about the FL. I’m getting the impression that the Director want to portray her as a closeted strong woman with emotions that can be her downfall if she isn’t smart. Her angst is mostly about her mother. But both of them have such a strong character I have a feeling that they’ll be at each other’s throat til the very last episode. Regret is always at the end.

I really don’t like her parents. They put themselves first and doesn’t put any afford in understanding her and only trying ti justify themselves.

This episode made me cry. It was just a heartbreaking relationship between mother and daughter. Too many unfortunate incidents and misunderstand. Also, there wasn't interaction between the leads for this episode.
