I enjoyed it!
Okay, as someone who doesn't really enjoy Sci-fi genre I actually enjoyed this quite a lot, but it might've been the cult elements. The acting was fantastic from every single character, I can't name one character who stuck out due to poor acting skills and that isn't common to me in dramas. On top of that not a single character left me frustrated at all, I could understand every single one and the actions they chose although Jihyo had me going ???? HUH sometimes due to how dumb of choices she made. Sehee at first slightly bothered me because it seemed like she was trying to sabotage Jihyo but by the end she seemed to prove herself as a friend. I think this could've easily been a gl and it probably would have in another country, like the beginning Bora saying they dated, them moving in together, easily could've been a gl. Only one thing bothered me in this entire drama, it was the ending, it was so blah when the rest of it was quite good. This drama had quite a few familiar faces but they portrayed themselves totally differently. If you want to watch just on it saying the genre is thriller, I wouldn't. There are no aspects of a thriller at all other than if you get a bit scared the lead will get caught doing something, but that's all. Anyways I would definitely recommend this to anyone that likes dramas with cult themes. If you don't like the first three episodes I wouldn't recommend watching anymore.Cet avis était-il utile?
acting's superb!
The story had me soo confused. But I couldn't look away from this drama. There was aliens and then a religious cult. Was wondering what the heck is going on even till the last minute.BUT...it somehow still ties together so well.
The acting is so good from each and every cast member. But Jeon Yeo Been is phenomenal. I am a big fan of Nana due to her drama Into The Ring so I was so happy to see her and she was fantastic. Her character felt written for her. The chemistry between the girls was amazing. But I have to come back to Jeon Yeo Been. It felt like she got progressively better in each episode. The last thing I watched of hers was Vincenzo and to be honest I didn't really enjoy that drama all too much. I think this was especially because I remembered her too fondly from Be Melodramatic. However, she has displayed a whole range of new acting abilities here. Every expression on her face was believable to me. I hope more people watch this drama.
Also, one more thing I want to point out is how much I loved the makeup or the lack of it. It felt authentic to the characters and the situations they were going through. Please no more nonsensical glamour where the scenes do not require it.
I still wonder what the heck happened to the character Lee Si Guk. The aliens took him? But why? And why to Thailand? I will need to read through other people's reviews to figure stuff out, I guess.
Oh, I also enjoyed the humour and the music in the drama.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama " Glitch " is a sci-fi drama with a lot of mystery. The drama has a kilelr duo, with the two female leads oozing chemistry and having a nicely paced relationship that blooms from almost hatred to friendship.
The drama, also, has its moments. Especially the first episodes were pretty intriguing and entertaining.
However, things got even wierder towards the ending, with some predictable twists to boot. The plot almost got repeatetive and lost its initial charm.
On the other hand, the performances were all great by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, three out of ten.

What were they smoking?
I don’t know what they were smoking but must’ve been good for them to come up with this. The main characters seem like they’re pretty well known and for them to be in this show, they were smoking something good, too.I’ll get to the main story later but this show is mainly about watching two nutty and not so bright women acting crazy. They spend a lot of their screen time sneaking into places and hiding. They’re always in danger of being found out but they somehow get away and it’s mainly because of dumb luck. You get to see them standing around with their mouths open in shock. Like every other scene shows their dumbstruck faces at something or someone. After staring at their open mouths for about 5-7 seconds, the show finally let you see what got them so spooked. Sometimes they’re pretty funny but mostly absurd. Completely unrealistic behaviors do get repetitive after awhile. It’s hard to root for them when they act like such idiots. However, I do have to give them major credit for committing all the way. Professionalism at its finest.
So the main storyline started out as your typical alien abduction stuff and it followed. that formula pretty well. There’re flashbacks, bright lights, levitation and little green dudes. You see the main character collecting old articles about UFOs and missing people, etc. It’s strongly implied that the main character came into contact with aliens in the past. She runs into her middle school friend while looking for her lost (ex)boyfriend and the absurdities start. Then, after a couple of episodes, you kinda lose sight of the plot watching two women doing crazy stuff and next thing you know, it’s become a show about a cult. Huh? But then, hey, why not?
The side characters, especially, Bora’s friends are atrociously stupid and useless. They’re cartoon characters and it’s infuriating to watch them doing their things. The worst of them all is the skinny dude with long hair. You know which one and why. The muscle man isn’t much better but at least he knows how to drive. Speaking of, what are the chances of only one person being able to drive in a group of 5-6 adults? Is this for real?
I must say, this was one of the most frustrating shows I’ve ever seen but also one of the most interesting. I see some reviewers calling this show “misunderstood”. Maybe. But otherworldly absurd behaviors propelling the story forward isn’t good.
I see three huge faults of this show. First is that the main character isn’t smart enough to navigate the complex world of cult and go up against a cult leader. Second is that the writer also isn’t smart enough to keep up with all plot holes and inconsistencies. Third is the main character gets less and less likable as the show goes on because they pushed her stupidity and craziness to such an extreme.

Honestly, it feels soooo wierd ???
Honestly eventhough the plot wasn't interesting & trailer was average, since the cast was top notch, i expected a bit too much i guess, cause im too badly disappointed.Starting from the looks of actress, its too boring.
The characters smoking all time felt like they trying to promote smoking & e-cigarattes ?fuck smoking
Coming to story it felt so shitty that i fimd hard to digest. I couldn't find a reasonable plot in it just some swaggy vibes blah blah blah
Well, the acting of cast wad okay so performance wise its bearable.
Its all about cults, aliens, blah blah, blah. I liked NF other Alien/Cult drama Hellbound & Other Alien drama The Silent Sea. But thisone feels soo shitty ?
It's a drama so different from standard genre expectations of people. Sometimes its engaging at times its too boring & ugly
well, its a one time watchable for those who are interested. For others, you can skip it too

Made for a niche audience.
At first this show seems to be about the supernatural VS mental illness, with the main character struggling to determine whether she's just hullucinating or not.As the story progresses, a new element is brought in: group thinking, cults, and mass hysteria.
Although the show was pretty interesting, the ending was unfortunately the most boring and inconclusive endings I've seen to such an exciting show.
I'm sure this show would be very good if you are into: aliens, psychological disorders, infiltrating cult-like organisations, plotting & scheming, philosophy, and the question "Is faith more powerful than truth?".

Cigarettes and Alien Sci-Fi for people who don't like Sci-Fi
Maybe I am the weird one; I generally hate, not just dislike, most science fiction. I can get behind the supernatural stuff--or, at least, some of the Korean-style semi-Buddhist dramas, since their portrayal of and coming to terms with death is often therapeutic for me, in the same way that, say, emo music like Brand New is what I'd prefer to listen to through bouts of depression rather than upbeat TWICE or whatever else. But the overwhelming majority of Sci-Fi, be it Star Wars, Dune, Dark, Stranger Things or the gazillion UFO films I have seen just fail to pull me in. Perhaps Doctor Who and Brazil (1985 - great movie, btw) are some of the only ones I feel positively towards, at least, out of the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
I think a big part of what kept me interested in this is that it's more of a psychological thriller, dealing with broken relationships and mental health, with an alien-themed plot that acts as the glue to hold it all together; you're significantly more focused on the characters and what is actually even real, if anything, rather than starting off with some explicit and in your face plot of, "yes, aliens have crash-landed on earth and are now devouring people like crocodiles, enjoy".
Was it the best show on the planet? No, probably not. But I cannot comprehend why this bombed so badly. Given the nature of sites like MDL and MAL to gravitate towards the higher end of a 1-10 scale, I saw the number alone and had an [unjustified] feeling/bias against it before even watching the first episode.
The only reason I even gave it a shot was because it had the writer of Extracurricular on board, and I am glad I did.

Glitch
The story in the beginning was nice with Ji‐Hyo looking for her boyfriend, Si-kook (Even after they broke) assuming he was taken by aliens then assuming the was also kidnapped by a church cult.I didn't like Ji-hyo's friend though, she was nosy and annoying sticking her nose in places it shouldn't be in.
The show has it ups and downs as every show does. Ji-hyo and Bo-ra are strong independent women, they smoke and curse. They don't need a man's help. A down though is that the show drifted away from the main goal in the end. There was Cults and religion that was suddenly added to the mix.

Nutjobs
Not enough alien juice! Another Netflix slop with no soul, rhyme or rhythm. Actually, this is a good example for having an interesting big idea but don't have a clue what to do with it. The first 2 episodes were interesting with a good build up, however, everything that followed up was a let down. After garnering enough attention in the initial episodes, it just wanted to get to the finish line quickly regardless of how it does it. All Netflix is good for is adding scenes of characters smoking, that's the typical Netflix-tax for you. On the bright side, at least the leads brought a decent performance.Cet avis était-il utile?
a Bit Disappointing
from the plot I was expecting a science fiction type story and a greater involvement of the aliens. Instead the 'sect' disappointed me a little and the whole rational organization.I liked the 'search for ufo' team.
There is no romantic relationship in the drama but the friendship between the two protagonists is just as beautiful and engaging, they are both very different girls but who love each other and have a bond for a long time, so there is trust and affection.
the "Church" was interesting at the beginning but then I expected that the alien had something more to do with it and that it had more importance in the story, not that the entire existence of UFOs was questioned until the end. I'd liked to see something like "E.T. the extraterrestrial"

This story is not about aliens but a cult
It's been so long since I have binged a K drama. One of the best parts of the show was it's balance of serious atmosphere with the comedy. Neither of them outweighs the other. There is one twist in episode 7 which I called out but it didn't stop me from enjoying it. My favourite character was Jihyo and I liked her friendship with Bora. The side characters such as Captain Prince, Cho Philip and Dong hyuk were really funny. There are few issues that the show suffers from. The first episode is a little slow which makes sense since it is a setup episode. But the ending of the episode makes you want more. Jihyo's boyfriend Siguk who disappears and was her whole motivation for the show does not do anything major in the show. I didn't like how their relationship ended. The show also tricks you into thinking it's focus is on aliens but instead it is on a shady cult. Even with those minor complaints I highly recommend GlitchCet avis était-il utile?

Searching Alien
The story is about a woman who made contact with a UFO when She was a child. As She grows up, her eyes can see something that other people can't see, such as aliens. After that, She managed to find the truth about what was happening and found a strange sect where they recognized themself as a part of a church. But actually, it's not because they are doing a ritual that doesn't make sense. That's where Her journey started. At first, it's gonna be quite slow but when it reaches the end of the episode it's gonna be quite interesting when the truth is being discovered.
