Maximum C-Drama I had watch is Rom-Com this is the first C-drama I watched where there is mystery. I loved Luo's acting here. Last few episode I didn't liked much. I second villain quite annoying but I liked the actors acting. Played well of being a psycho lover. Loved the proposal scene. Overall it was a good series and short a try at least for Luo.
Most importantly there is no second and third lead which was a relief.
I love the Opening track and Luo Yun Xi also sing a song in it.

Lies were the least of this love story’s problems
The business storyline in this was good. It had some nice layers. However, the SML’s involvement was over the top. Everything he did was about his obsession with the FL. It would’ve made more sense if greed was driving his behavior. But then again the writers did a good job at showing how creepy and insane he was so that kind of helped justify his actions. One of the funniest moments in the series that probably shouldn’t have been was when he thought he was going to take the easy way out to prevent being arrested, by leaping to his death off a building, only to land on a huge air mattress which saved his life. He was immediately arrested and carted off to jail. Lol.
I liked that the ML wasn’t perfect. He was an amputee on the verge of being an alcoholic. His disability wasn’t focused on much to start, but did come into play a little more in the later episodes, adding depth to the romance. Speaking of which, the romance was a good story. I liked that the leads met by chance during a rock climbing excursion, connected, lost touch after that weekend together then happened to meet again two years later but under unscrupulous circumstances. The business conflict threatening to destroy any chance at them having a future provided nice conflict as did the crazy SML. Though I got sick of him in the last few episodes. Additionally the FL,, would frequently make foolish decisions which would cause unnecessary difficulties for her and the ML
Though the writing for the romance was strong, the problem was the leads. They had no chemistry. This was mainly due to the FL who I’m sorry to say is a horrible actress. Unlike Luo Yunxi, she had no charisma. She put no emotions into the character except when she was trying to cry. Her line delivery was flat. Many times it was almost as if she was just reading the lines off a piece of paper.and she infused no zest into her character, leaving the FL with no personality. As the series went on I found that she would’ve made a great cyborg in the Terminator movies. That’s how bad her acting was.
Overall the series was watchable. It wasn’t bad. It was just okay. I think if a better actress was cast as the FL it .would’ve improved the show tremendously.

Good concept, bad execution
Cast:The cast for this drama is great and I was expecting quite a bit, but it just didn't work. Luo Lunxi is a good actor and that is undeniable, and in this drama he performs well and embodies his character perfectly. Cheng Xiao, on the other hand, is considerably newer to the acting world, and although her performance in LTL is much better than FIYS, she still lacks in many ways. I find that she doesn't fit the character she plays, and the FL and ML put together just don't have that chemistry that I look for.
The side characters are possibly my favorite part of the drama, and each one of them portrays their role so extremely well. Huo Jian and Xie Ming Hao are portrayed very well by their actors, and give a very convincing performance to the point where you hate them when you see them. Everyone does well in their roles, and I think that overall casting was done really well for this drama.
Plot:
When I watched the trailer and read the preview, they were extremely intriguing, and when you watch the first few episodes, that's exactly what you get. However, after around 15 episodes, the story starts to drag. This may be due to the fact that most c-dramas are stretched to 30+ episodes, leading them to needing an extra segment. Both villains are extremely important to the plot, but that period between the two villains is what I think is dragged out. The romance between the two leads is similar to that of a fairytale, with no real issues, and although it is a good watch, they put too much time into it IMO.
OST:
There's really no debate on this, the OSTs for LTL are insanely good, and they fit the story very well. I've had the album on repeat for awhile now and I still want to keep listening to them. I think that the OSTs were made extremely well, and that they are one of the parts that I look forward most to.
Overall, this story is a good watch, but there is a certain number of episodes that aren't exactly necessary.

Lie to keep me interested.
This series had a strong interesting start. I have seen both leads in other series and was very curious how this would land. The cast was very strong. However, some scenes started to drag at times to lengthen the episodes. The chemistry between the leads was minimum. Let's just say the ML and FL acted out the script. At no time did the characters make you want more. After episiode 20 where the main relationship is 'solidified' it was touch and go. It is a solid series as far as production. However, the OST was distracting at times. This definitely needed a cleaner edit to keep things from feeling like it would never end. All on all, the story itself was interesting but the execution missed the mark.Cet avis était-il utile?
B.O.R.I.N.G.
I am currently on a Luo Yunxi marathon and decided to watch this drama solely because of the poster. He sports fringes and wears glasses AND LOOKS SO CUTE. But that was all that was to this drama. This guy is a good actor and even when he can't save the drama, you know the drama's just BAD. The FL, Cheng Xiao, CANNOT ACT. How can a person have the same facial expression irrespective of whatever emotions she's emoting? Even when she's crying she looks the same. The ML is supposedly a disabled character, he does not have his lower leg. But what disability, where disability, which disability? He uses the walking stick like a fucking prop and not as a support... At least limp while walking? What is this superhuman portrayal of a disabled character? One badminton match lasts TEN MINUTES in an episode... WHYYYY??? And
This brings me to the pace of the drama. This drama is SO SLOW, I get it that you want to take time to build the characters and the setup and all that. But it's just unnaturally slow. A watcher like me, who does not skip even 10 seconds of an episode, was skipping MINUTES to just get through to what happens next. Because there's literally NOTHING GOING ON IN THE LARGE PART OF THE EPISODE. The story wasn't that bad actually. If it was paced well and sped up to 5 times faster, then it would've gained traction with the viewers. But the pace was so abysmally slow, I just lost interest at the end and gave up on it.
The chemistry between the leads was also so meh; they had none, actually. And this is saying quite a lot, given how charming and flirty LYX can be onscreen. The two leads are just too self-absorbed and expressionless to react to anything that the other person is doing. In comparison, I liked Chu Chu's character far better. She had more sass and acted better as well. The third friend, Oscar, was a cardboard cutout character. And he's dressed like Elvis Presley for over half the time because he's a Rock and Roll singer? WAAAOOOOOO, talk about a caricature character... *eye roll* *smh*.
The OST was also dumb; who writes a song with the lyrics, "I love you, I need you"? How old was the songwriter? Thirteen?? Everything was just so wrong. There was nothing to invest in this drama. NOT WORTH THE WATCH. Watch Love is Sweet or Till the End of the Moon instead. They're eons better than this snooze fest of a drama.

Another let down:(
This is the 2nd Leo Luo Yun Xi drama that I dropped within a few months. The other was Broker. I’m sorry but Cheng Xiao just cannot act (even in Falling into your smile). Her face is expressionless, and unfortunately there was hardly any chemistry between the two leads. The storyline is quite interesting, but I was just too annoyed with the uncle Huo Jian. Why does he have to know every single detail about their lives, look into all the rooms in his nephew’s apartment, must know their exact whereabouts and have an explanation given to him? I mean jeez... that’s just ridiculous. Talk about micro managing and controlling.
The music background is really good though. Highly modern and sophisticated and suits the mood of each scene. But unfortunately I don’t think I will continue this. :(

must watch drama!!!
Review on the overall drama:'Lie to Love” is a captivating mystery romance drama that weaves together fate, tragedy, and love. The story and actors did a lovely job!!! The Music/Ost was also really mat
Compelling Storyline: The drama follows Li Ze Liang (played by Luo Yun Xi) and Su Xie Yi (played by Cheng Xiao), whose lives intersect due to fate. Their passionate romance is overshadowed by tragedy, leading to their separation. The plot unfolds as they seek justice and reclaim what was taken from them.
Unforgettable Chemistry: Luo Yun Xi and Cheng Xiao’s on-screen chemistry is electric. Their portrayal of Li Ze Liang and Su Xie Yi brings depth and authenticity to their characters. You’ll be rooting for their love story from the very beginning.
Emotional Rollercoaster: Prepare for a rollercoaster of emotions! From heartwarming moments to heart-wrenching twists, “Lie to Love” keeps viewers engaged throughout its 32 episodes. The drama skillfully balances romance, mystery, and suspense.

Stunning Cinematography: The drama’s visuals are breathtaking. Whether it’s the scenic landscapes or intimate moments between the leads, the cinematography enhances the overall viewing experience.
Review on the music:
“Fate’s Whisper” (Episode 10):
This hauntingly beautiful instrumental piece captures the essence of fate and longing. It plays during a pivotal moment when Li Ze Liang and Su Xie Yi share a heartfelt conversation. The gentle piano melody underscores their unspoken feelings, leaving viewers with a sense of bittersweet anticipation.
“Love’s Echo” (Episode 20):
Sung by the talented Cheng Xiao (who portrays Su Xie Yi), “Love’s Echo” is a soulful ballad that echoes the characters’ emotional journey. As the drama reaches its climax, this song accompanies a tearful reunion between the leads. The lyrics express love’s enduring power, making it a perfect fit for this poignant scene.
“Promise in the Rain” (Episode 28):
In this touching duet, Luo Yun Xi (Li Ze Liang) and Cheng Xiao convey vulnerability and hope. The rain-soaked setting adds to the atmosphere as they promise to stay by each other’s side. The melody lingers long after the episode ends, leaving viewers with a sense of warmth and resolution.

definitely could've ended 15 episodes ago....
the cast? amazing.plot? meh, okay i guess.
the music? skipped every second of it because it was garbage.
this is the first show I've watched that i felt like it just kept dragging. the way this got more boring towards the end and slowly made me lose interest was a little alarming and annoying but i just went with it. the overall plot was okay but there were parts that were so extreme and unrealistic that made me die laughing because it felt like watching an irl fanfiction on the screen. the cast did a great job imo and they really killed their roles (especially the actor for XMH because holy shit did i want to punch him in the face and hate him). however, i still finished it but don't think ill rewatch it anytime soon.

It was okay
I mean it wasn't terrible. The soundtrack could have been worse and I liked the intrigue. I loved whatever was going on with Chu Chu and Oscar, I thought he was a fun character. Guan Zi Jing has always been a strong actor and I wish he would get a main role somewhere because he would do a great job at it. And of course LYX will always bring his a game and perform well. But its a shame when the side characters are more interesting than the leads. I was very disappointed in Cheng Xiao's acting and I'm not comvinced she only got this role because she's a pretty idol. The acting skill difference between her and LYX was depressingly large and I dont think I could name a time where she didnt have the same flat expression on her face. I don’t think it's fair that LYX has to carry the chemistry of the couple because I couldn't even tell if the FL liked the ML half the time. I think Cheng Xiao would definitely benefit from MUCH more practice acting before she's given a leading role. I don't hate Cheng Xiao I just don't think her acting is strong enough to be a main character yet.
I liked the uncle as the antagonist better, as weirdly controlling as he was. The second antagonist was so creepy and not even in a fun way. I predicted him to be the real antagonist from the second he came on screen. Why be engaged to her sister if youre obsessed with the FL the entire time??? It doesn't make sense to me. Also the constant flashbacks to that one cliff scene drove me crazy. By the time episode 5 rolled around i was tired of looking at it.
Anyway, it started off strong and very quickly bored me to death. Too bad I had to drop it.

Now the cast is great, but right off to the start, we have Luo Yunxi’s character who loves to play video games and I have absolutely no idea what Cheng Xian’s character is doing. Like I would like a good background explanation, but this might just be me being very biased, since the beginning of the show didn’t interest me and seemed confusing and about businesses and corporations.
