Attending a high school in a certain town, Kazama Ryuji, Sena Satoru and Kasuga Atsushi are called the "Deceptive Appearance Trio" due to their yankee-like looks and non-matching personalities. One day, Satoru witnesses someone jumping off the roof of the school building from class. The trio rush to the scene but find no signs of anyone falling. Around that time, the school goes into turmoil following the attempted suicide of Zaizen Yasutaka, an incident attributed to Satoru which results in his indefinite suspension. The trio gather in hopes of finding out the truth when a mysterious incident occurs.
