talk one step forward 5 back, like come ON!!!!…

talk one step forward 5 back, like come ON!!!! if the previous ep's word was 'disappointment' this ones is 'dumbass' - i get Mico's go-to is being bitchy/sarcastic. it's a defense mechanism and i guess it also rears its ugly head when embarrassed. so i "get" why he reacted like that - and i also feel it was more directed at himself, like "no way am i worthy of someone writing a song about me, it must be a joke' - let alone Xavier "someone i like liking me back - i aint worthy" and he just worded it in a defensive way. ************************************************************************************************************************but seeing how unlike himself Xavier was from the start of their "meeting" he should've known this time something is different - he wasn't he usual carefree, flirty teasing self. he was subdued, jittery , even a bit self-conscious - all this before the confession. and yet u choose to act the fool ugh!!! come on Mico - so u kinda deserved him backtracking to 'save face' and saying it was for Crystal. *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************if that wasn't enough this moron goes into hiding ghosting Xavier - like how old is he?!? and Xavier has to keep reaching out when he did nothing wrong - if anything the one that should be acting hurt and ignoring calls/texts is Xavier - but Nope drama queen needs to act all dramatic ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the convo with the friends= ̄ω ̄= meeh... they were too softhearted and ready to forgive - he had to be nudged into saying anything - so i personally wouldn't be friends with a person like this. that will sooner or later revert to his usual me-first self. and found it ironic that he could talk about his crush with them, while the real person he should been truthful with - he pushed away cause he was trying to safeguard himself. like i get it and yet i don't like it - considering the fall out of his words - ********** ****************************************************************************************************************************************so didn't feel sorry for Mico at the end - he brought that on himself (and yeah get he was flustered when Xavier told him the song was for him) but he says Xavier laughs at everything, even stuff that isn't funny? how ironic cause that's what started off this mess - his laughing at Xavier's confession... and from that point on - i was like omo just shut-up already... cause sentences after sentence, U were pushing Xavier back into his ex's arms and now ur sitting here crying, berating Xavier - looking to blame someone check out the mirror.. like come on - the only one i feel sorry for is Xavier (the dude should've known better, then to go back to that ridiculous girl - i'd rather be alone then with someone like her ugh).

Hello Stranger (2020) Episode 6: Hello Heartbreak

While I can understand the disappointments and frustrations over Mico and Xavier's reactions, I still found the Episode 6: Hello Heartbreak good because it highlighted the friendship among the Young Padawans which is probably what I most liked in this series. I also fear how the series will treat Crystal in the next episodes. But unlike others, I didn't expect much with regards to the plot/storyline of this series. It's a simple plot/storyline and if they're able to execute it well then I'm generally ok with it. In terms of production, it has so far been good. While they will not get recognized for their acting performance, all the actors were fairly decent. By the way, I love that they featured Roland Barthes but Mico and Xavier should have learned from him in reading signs so they didn't have to self-sabotage. So I'm just excited how they'll end this series. With two episodes left, I don't think there's really much more that will happen other than try to tie loose ends and resolve the main conflict of this series. I just hope it's a happy ending for all.

Realistic

I agree that both actors are super - their facial expressions/reactions during "that awkward conversations" were so to the point, apropos, exactly how people in that situation would look/express! well done, esp knowing how they orchestrated the filming, not necessarily simultaneously. But I have to say that looking at a higher level, both are responsible for the outcome as seen, not just Mico. I saw someone said it's Mico because he protected himself, thus causing his own heartbreak. The same can be said about Xavier too by the same token. None wanted to take risk, exposing their true feelings, identity, orientation despite that fact they had shared so much happy moments (as shown) which could/should be used as evidence to convince themselves of the other's feelings for himself. But this is the beauty of this "glitch, hiccup"..so realistic, happens so much in the real world, leading to many missed, and regretted opportunities in our lives! I do appreciate the inclusion of this element of realism - not just here, in many films and movies too - but here it's so intensely and well captured! Kudos to the actors and directors who really tried to perfect this! Lessons learnt - are we willing to take risk/risk our friendship, connections and feelings, potentially for our opportunities and long term happiness! I think we ask such questions so often whether it's M2M or M2W relationships!

Hello Heartbreak

Mico essentially sabotaged himself. I would have understood it if he only panicked after the confession of Xavier. But after treating the confession as a joke, he doubled down and even suggested to post it and dedicate it to Crystal? WTH! And later on, he got the nerve to be hurt when he saw Xavier and Crystal back together? Ugh!I think (and this is just my opinion) that Mico tends to be an insensitive character. He did that before during the "Young Padawans" group videochat (he kept on talking about Xavier and did not mind his friends problem) that's why his friends got angry at him (but they yeventually reconciled). And now, he is again insensitive to the confession of Xavier? Can't you see it in his face that he is being serious? Duh! I really have high hopes for this drama coz it has better production values than the other Pinoy BLs (so far) but in terms of plot and character development, I'd say Gameboys is still better in this aspect. I just hope that Mico would redeem himself in the remaining episodes.
