NEVER EXPECTED A DRAMA COULD MOTIVATE ME TO STUDY

THIS IS ONE OUT OF 3 DRAMAS I DID NOT DARE SKIP A SECOND.

First, let’s talk about the PLOT. I know a lot of cdrama fans who hate watching YOUTH/SCHOOL dramas and I’ll be honest I’m somehow like that. Commonly school dramas start nice but gets super draggy at the middle or end I won’t mention dramas to avoid offending fans since it’s my personal opinion, but this drama? It might not revolve around their love story but the love story was just enough not something that is very less to the point that we won’t feel the chemistry but not exaggerated to the point that it’s cringey. The love that they had was inspiring as they both motivated each other to do well in school (highschool students should learn from them lmao). This drama is very inspirational and would give you a good outlook on how wonderful studying could actually be. As a senior highschool graduate, I actually hate studying but this drama actually made me disappointed for graduating in an online class instead of physical class. Every episode actually tackled things that could possibly happened to a student, dropping grades because of family problems, being discredited by adults just because we are still students, being discouraged because of not achieving your goal, etc.. This drama showed that at the same time they showed us how to resolve them.

Second, the CHARACTERS. I guess I’ll only talk about the main characters. Xiaoran, despite being that boy who’s all about basketball he actually showed us that aside from bball he actually also have a dream that isn’t very related to what he is strong at but it is what he want to become. You could also see that liking someone isn’t always a bad thing for students as it actually motivates you to strive harder but of course it isn’t always the case for everyone but again it is possible and you just gonna need to use that inspiration to become a better person that is proven and tested in my experience. As for Zhangwan, how I love this girl despite being arrogant, stubborn, headstrong, and insensitive this girl is from the beginning you can actually tell where she’s coming from as the drama progress. Yes, she was once selfish but thanks to her classmates she was able to fix that at the same time her obsession with studying actually helped the whole class to achieve greater things. She may not be academically genius but she’s a genius in analyzing people and how to deal with them and irl that is actually very important. Her character is very inspiring and I could seriously relate to her as she’s bad in her math and physics but hey I was able to graduate despite the hardships hahahaha as she said from the drama “your hardwork won’t betray you”. And my fave teacher, Mr. Wang. Idk if teachers like him exist irl since our headteachers are mostly just there to supervise us and let us decide for the class and they are just there to listen. But I actually want a Mr. Wang huhu I envy their class just how supportive was he and he always stand up for his students, he motivates them, he does not pressure them, he molds them to become better version of themselves, he was not only a teacher but he also acted like a parent.

Now for the acting, I’ve watched Guan Lin from CLCFL and he didn’t really gave me a wow factor there since I’ve seen many actors with that role but with this he actually amazed me. Most cdrama actors would go for roles that are similar to dramas where they became popular but he actually nailed this “childing boy” role without annoying the hell out of me he’s not stupid here anyway just childing hahaha for Landy Li this is the first time I’ve watched her and I actually liked her especially her expressions that show “ok-i’m-so-done-here” HAHAHAHAHA

Overall I strongly recommend this drama. The time travel plot? Don’t worry hun it won’t be that complicated just watch the ending it was explained well if that’s why you are having second thoughts about this drama. If you hate the FL for being mean don’t worry as well of course it would be boring if we had a flat character right? This actually refreshed me of our lessons in literature about type of characters flat,round,foil, etc. this show have all of them kudos to the writer they really know what they’re doing that’s why they were able to make this master piece. I’m glad I actually remeber watching this since the eng sub took a while so I had to put it on hold before.

Would I rewatch this? Uhmmm maybe not? Since I actually just rewatch dramas to rewatch the heart fluttering scenes and i dont think i would still cry again after watching some scenes since I already know what’s gonna happen. But it doesn’t mean this is a bad drama or boring I would actually rewatch the special episode since that’s where they actually became an official couple and also the last ep it just sucks that it has only 24 eps I hope there will be a season 2 for their college life and season 3 for their working and family life just like itazurana kiss.

AGAIN WATCH THIS DRAMA AND IT WONT DISAPPOINT!

It was a cliché . Not for me.

Was a story about time span or it was about a novel written by female lead's friend . Story started with the introduction of female lead's character ,she was belong to HR department at that her friend came to invite her for a college reunion party and at th same time she gave her a novel written about female lead's college life if she wanted to change something . While she slept while reading a novel and went to her past life and when she back to her present life that confused me . Was she went to her past life or drama showing us that what had written in novel . Why I confused , because when she went to the past she was proving herself that she came from future but when she came back to the her present then had been shown that what has written in novel that we seen in the past . So kind of confusing story .
Too much they had shown college life that made the drama bore . If they shows her college life and present life that would be good . That will increase the interest level .
Before watching the drama ,first read synopsis it will help to understand the drama.

Nice story about recognizing differences

Thoroughly enjoyed the simplicity of the well-executed story. Great chemistry between ML+FL as their relationship changes. She starts the final high school year looking down on the entire class, and grows to become part of their group in a very believable way, recognizing that each personality type has advantages and should be respected. Likewise, she starts much more mature than her classmates (given that she's had 10 more years of life), and they grow up to meet her expectations really nicely. Well-constructed interactions with students and teachers around the school, and she uses her "future knowledge" really well. I liked all of the second relationships. No strange complications. and

It became my second favorite school drama. First one is Forever Love!

ওয়েল, আপনারা যারা চাইনিজ ড্রামা নিয়ে আমার আগের কোনো লেখা পড়েছেন, তারা অনেকেই হয়তো জানেন Forever Love ড্রামাটা নিয়ে আমার ভেতরে এক ধরনের ক্রেজিনেস কাজ করে। যদি ফরেভার লাভের পর আর কোনো ড্রামা নিয়ে উন্মাদনা দেখাতে হয় তাহলে আমি বেছে নিবো- Don’t Disturb My Study। এই ড্রামা নিয়ে ছোট কথায় রিভিউ লিখতে হলে আমি এইভাবে লিখবো- পড়ালেখা নিয়ে প্রচন্ড সিরিয়াস কিন্তু একটু গাধী-টাইপের এক মেয়ে এক ঝাঁক ডোন্ট-কেয়ার টাইপ ছেলে-মেয়ের মাঝে এসে পড়ে। এরমাঝে দোন্ট-কেয়ার টাইপ ছেলে-মেয়েদের লিডারের সাথে তার ভুল বোঝাবুঝি থেকে ঝামেলা হয়, পরে সে ঝামেলা মিটে তারা বন্ধুও হয়ে যায় এবং একটা সময় পর গিয়ে এক অন্যের প্রেমেও পড়ে। তো কি ভাবছেন এখন? প্রেমে পড়ে পড়ালেখায় সিরিয়াস মেয়েটি পড়ালেখা লাটে উঠালো? মোটেও তা না! বরং সে পুরো ক্লাসকেই লাইনে নিয়ে আসলো! সবাইকে পড়াশোনা-ক্যারিয়ারের প্রতি সিরিয়াস করে তুললো! কিন্তু তার ভাগ্যের কি কোনো পরিবর্তন হলো? যেটা পাল্টাতে সে অতীতে এসেছিলো?

যারা ড্রামাটি দেখেন নি তারা নিচের লেখাটুকূ পড়বেন না। এখানে স্প্যলার আছে। ড্রামা না দেখা থাকলে এটা পড়তে গেলে পরে পুরো ড্রামা দেখার মজা হারাবেন! তাই সাবধান!!!
এই ড্রামার সাজেশান আমি যার রিভিউ পড়ে পেয়েছিলাম, তিনি সেখানে বলেছিলেন এন্ডিং নিয়ে একটু হতাশ তিনি। নায়িকা কেন বর্তমান থেকে অতীতে গেলে তার কোনো যৌক্তিক ব্যাখ্যা দেয়া হয়নি। আসলে এই লাইনটি নিয়ে আমি কিছু কথা বলতে চাই।
নায়িকা টাইম ট্রাভেল করেনি। যারা ভেবেছেন নায়িকা আসলেই বর্তমান থেকে অতীতে ফেরত গেছে, তারা এইখানে একটু ধরা খেয়েছেন। নায়িকা মোটেও টাইম ট্রাভেল করেনি। এডমিশান টেস্টের আগের দিন নায়িকার বান্ধবী নায়িকাকে একটা প্রমিজ করেছিলো না যে, সে যদি কোনদিন লেখিকা হতে পারে তাহলে নায়িকার পুরো জীবনের উপর সে একটা উপন্যাস লিখবে? সে তার কথা রেখেছিলো। পুরো ড্রামায় ১০ বছর আগের স্কুল জীবনের যা যা দেখানো হয়েছে সবটাই বাস্তবের উপরে ভিত্তি করে লেখা উপন্যাসের কাহিনী।
প্রথম এপিসোডে মনে আছে, নায়িকার লেখিকা বান্ধবী এসে নায়িকাকে বলে যে, তোর উপরে বেইজড করে একটা উপন্যাস লিখেছি, পড়ে দেখ? যে উপন্যাসটা পড়তে পড়তে নায়িকা অতীতে টাইম ট্রাভেল করে? একচুয়েলি নায়িকা টাইম ট্রাভেল করে না। সে জাস্ট অনেক ক্লান্ত ছিলো, পড়তে পড়তে ঘুমিয়ে পড়ে। যেটা দেখানো হয়েছে যে সে উপন্যাস পড়তে পড়তে ১০ বছর আগে অতীতে ফেরত গেছে, সেটা পুরোটাই উপন্যাসের কাহিনী।
লাস্টের রিইউনিয়নের সময়ের কথাগুলো খেয়াল করলে দেখবেন, নায়িকা তার বান্ধবীকে জিজ্ঞাসা করেছিলো যে আমি অতীতে ফিরে গেছি মানে কি? এটা কি গাঁজাখুরি কাহিনী লিখেছিস? তখন তার বান্ধবী উত্তর দিয়েছিলো- আরে একটু ফ্যান্টাসি না মেশালে পাবলিক খাবে না! এটা তোর উপর বেইজড করে লেখা উপন্যাস সেটা ঠিক আছে, কিন্তু বইয়ের বিক্রি তো হতে হবে নাকি!!
সো, এটাই হচ্ছে মূল বিষয় আরকি। নায়িকা অতীতে ট্রাভেল করেনি। তার বান্ধবী তার লাইফটাকে ফ্যান্টাসি উপন্যাসের নায়িকার মত করে দেখিয়েছে নিজের উপন্যাসে। তাই তার অতীত ভ্রমণের কোনো ব্যাখ্যার দরকার নাই আসলে!!
বাই দ্য ওয়ে, ২৪ এপিসোডের পরেও একটা স্পেশাল এপিসড আছে এই ড্রামার! সেটা দেখেছেন তো সবাই, নাকি?

A sweet drama that captured the essence of youth and friendship. This drama was a typical high school drama, yet it wasn't because it didn't follow through with a lot of cliches and tropes (possessive childhood friend/pushy SML). The ML and FL were well cast and had a sweet and endearing chemistry between them. The first few episodes were a little tough because of the FL's arrogance and righteous attitude, but there is character development and you see her grow and change as the drama progresses. The ML was charming and had a natural charisma which made their relationship sweet and believeable. The subtle things they did for one another and the reaction of their classmates to their bickering and flirting was funny and realistic. All the side characters were likeable and even though there were many, I felt like they all contributed in some way or another to the story line. Conflicts were resolved quickly and there was no unnecessary angst or drama.

This drama also did a great job in showing the intense pressure high school students faced in taking the gaokao. It was probably one of the first youth dramas that made me teary and really feel for all of them (in every class). Class 7’s teacher was the hidden gem as his heart for his students was portrayed in the most sincere and heartfelt way (between him and the ost in episode 23 ... oh my goodness... so so good). I loved how the drama showed how there is more than one path to success and it's not always about being in the best class or going to the best university.

OMG Lai Guanlin & Landy Li sooo perfect together!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Also heart touching ost wish I can go back to school

From episode 1 it started it was interesting, I continued the next episode until it was finished and didn't want to miss even 1 second. First, I like Landy Li because she is SO PRETTY and cool. Then Lai Guanlin who is also cute and handsome. Really love their journey to support each other until success and no cliched love triangle drama. Learn and keep learning, let's keep learning like Nan Xiangwan!!! hahaha I love that they are both successful at the end, CEO & Pilot. What a Wonderful Couple

Simple yet lovely school drama

Highly recommend watching this drama if you are feeling unmotivated and weary.

This drama is truly one of those gems that you would be glad you came across. This drama is one of those shows you would enjoy binging because you can easily relate to the emotions and memories.

As a whole, the story is really fun and endearing. No complicated, toxic and overbearing side characters. You can simply enjoy the story and how each of the characters grows. Initially, I found the FL to be a little cringe because of her behaviour but I eventually fell in love with her.

I would also like to compliment the ML for how much his acting has improved from his previous drama to his portrayal here.

THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
- AMAZING FRIENDSHIPS
- portrayal of life (everyone's path is different and that is fine)

Hidden Gem

This story provides a well casted actor and actresses that portray high school life and the stress of college examination. It makes you motivated and you will become invested in the characters especially class 7. The ending ties everything together well. I finished this drama in two days. It is truly a hidden gem! If you like slice of life with humor, motivation, and growth this drama is the right one. It takes you on a journey with the development of the main leads and supporting cast.

My favorite part is the OST. This OST just makes everything even better. Now there’s some flaws in the story because it is a simple and easy drama to watch. After a few episodes you can see how well the casts start becoming their character.

My Favorite Cdrama

Great chemistry between KuanLin and Landi as well as Landi and Runze. Hope to see them act again in another drama. A must-watch drama with meaningful story about high school life, an amazing cast and high rewatch value. No irritating minor characters here and complicated subplots. I just wished they made the series longer so that they don’t have to cut a lot of scenes and place them instead in 2 special features. I also hope they make a sequel with the same actors since the book which the story is based upon has a sequel coming up. Lastly, it is refreshing to watch a drama where the male actors don’t have a lot of makeup on. It really makes the drama more realistic.😂

Really really good and fun

this was a great fun show..
the writing was great and the story was fun a nice break from the norm..
the twist at the end was good... very very well done
the cast and the chemistry between everyone even the classmates that werent main characters are so good
the music was wonderful really helped enhance the fun you see on the screen
truthfully this show was no fuss no muss except for the twist at the end but everything else is a standard good story of changing how you view ppl when u are young and when u get older and how change is possible just by accepting ppl and their warts and all
