Best Zombie Show

Ok, I'll begin by saying that I came to watch this with little expectations barely knowing anything as the only thing I saw from TikTok was people comparing the theme to that one Ferry accident in Korea (which btw a really sad accident RIP everyone that died) Anyways, as I began to watch the show from the first episode it got me hooked. It had a very interesting plot, to be honest, and all the characters were very interesting and had their personalities well rounded. Not gonna lie, some parts of the show were quite predictable but I still enjoyed it. I like how South Korea's zombies are very distinct and are all quite similar regardless of the show or movie. All the actors were AMAZING not only did they all genuinely look like teenagers but their acting was super good. It's super gory just saying, which I was NOT expecting since I've watched Train to Busan but it wasn't like this AT ALL. So, super cool on their part to add this much blood. The ending was very split opinions between people, but personally, I really liked it and gives me hope for a second season (which is a must need). A must-watch of 2022!!!!SPOILERS!!!I like to talk about the whole theme in general. So people were comparing this to the Ferry accident because of the whole trusting the adults thing, and I totally see it. As a fellow teenager in this type of situation, there's not much you can do other than hoping any adult who's more experienced in life and probably can assess the situation better would help you. So I totally empathize with them as they feel helpless and let down by the adult far too many times. When the helicopter left them on the rooftop like that, I was legit crying with them because I know it would have been MY last straw if I was there. They lost too many people close to them and they just feel lost. Anyways the whole Hambie situation was kind of tricky and I don't quite grasp the idea yet. It was a very clever and creative plotline for a zombie show as I've never seen that before, however, I feel like there's still a hole about how one can become a hambie... I've seen people say it's because of their determination for something (as we can see Gwi-nam was determined to kill Gyong-san and the suicide girl was determined to break all the phones) but what was Nam-ra's determination? Continue to like Su-hyeok and protect him? LMAOAlso, about On-jo.... girly some stuff she did literally annoyed me so much, but I have some questions about her. Not to say the show has some holes but the fact that On-jo was bitten by the first infected girl and she didn't turn was suspicious. Plus, the hamster at the lab also did not bite her... which makes me wonder if she is either immune or some sort of hambie. I don't know., a second season must answer these questions asap. Next, comes Cheong-san. I loved that man with all my life. Chan-young did one of the best acting in that show when Gwi-Nam was gouging his eye out and he was just screaming in pain and it was utterly terrifying and had me balling my eyes out. Truly a great performance. Not to undermine In-soo's performance because he was also amazing, not only he was terrifying whenever he came back to life and never stayed dead lmao but also I know these two are legit besties in real life so it's so fun to watch them be enemies.Na-Yeon... ya'll think I wasn't going to talk about this girl? Naah so like I didn't mind her character as much, to begin with, but as the show advanced she really was hitting on my nerves and when she started picking on Gyeong-su out of nowhere, I was completely done with her. Honestly, Gyeong-su's death was one of the saddest personally since he didn't even die because of a zombie, like homegirl straight-up murdered him, truly heartbreaking he deserved better. I will gladly bow to Nam-ra when she slapped Na-Yeon for what she did. Yes, I get that she is a scared teenager... and tried to do good by bringing them food, but up to that point I didn't fully sympathize with her, but it would have been interesting if we could have seen her interact with the group after everything she did by trying to undo her wrongs.
