Lâu lắm rồi mới xem một bộ phim với kịch bản cuốn hút đến vậy. Có thể ban đầu diễn xuất của Hứa Khải và Châu Đông Vũ có hơi chút gượng nhưng chắc chắn qua 1/3 câu chuyện nó đã khá lên rất nhiều. Thực sự cảm nhận được tâm huyết của đoàn làm phim và các diễn viên, kỹ xảo mãn nhãn, nhưng đặc biệt, đặc biệt cái kéo tôi quay trở lại chính là cốt truyện thu hút, hợp lý, không phóng đại, tiết tấu nhanh và ít các tình tiết thừa thãi. Diễn xuất của Châu Đông Vũ và Hứa Khải ngày càng được khẳng định về các tập sau này, minh chứng trong sự khác biệt ở tính cách của Thượng Cổ - Hậu Trì và Bạch Quyết - Thanh Mục. OST của phim cũng đỉnh nữa, được sáng tác rất phù hợp với câu chuyện trong phim, mỗi khi nghe OST là những phân cảnh trong phim lại hiện lên khiến tôi nổi gai ốc. Phục trang và tạo hình có lẽ hơi là điểm trừ đối với tôi, tuy những bộ đồ hay kiểu tóc được chuẩn bị công phu nhưng theo tôi là chưa phù hợp lắm với nhân vật, chỉ thích là bộ nào cũng thướt tha, phong cách đúng chất thần tiên nên cũng không phải là vấn đề lớn, có một số bộ rất đẹp và hợp nhưng lại ít được xuất hiện. Tổng quan tôi đánh giá đây là một bộ phim rất đáng xem vì ý nghĩa của câu chuyện. Chờ đợi để xem những tập tiếp theo!!!

Beautiful Story - Must Watch!!!!

This is my first time writing a review on here. I loved everything about this drama. At the end, i dont know if i was crying tears of joy, sadness, or relief for everything they had to go through. Their love for each other was so beautiful! The acting, cinematography, and story was so well done. I started watching it for xu kai but i fell in love with everyone else in it as the story progressed. Kudos to everyone involved in this production and the translators for all of their hard work! I hope i can come across another drama thats as great as this one!

If you are second guessing watching this, just go watch it! You wont regret it!

I would definately recommend this series. It is a classic standing out amongst many. I really enjoyed the series. The story and script were interesting Main actors and actresses along with supporting cast were excellent defining their characters and petsonalities. Zhou Dong Yu was enchanting throughout the series. Her smile so infectious that I found myself smiling along with her. The CGI was perfect. Definately, worth my time watching. You will not be bored with the twists and turns of the story. You will be taken on a long journey to another wold and time. Present problems will disappear as you engulf yourself in the story. As I watched it with English subtitles I found it easy to follow and translation overall was well done.

Loved it!

Truly a masterpiece this year, I enjoyed watching this series beginning to end, without skipping any scenes. Xu Cai is truly a handsome and very talented actor, he has the ability to make the viewer feel his emotions. The female lead looked a bit too thin and young for this role. Shangu is supposed to be the strongest out of all the gods and yet she didn’t seem that strong, but she didn’t a great job regardless,

Overall I enjoyed ancient love poetry. The characters, storyline and music was all great, ever the side characters made you love them. I loved tianqi’s character development and how the main leads had to play different roles.

I love this Chinese Drama... Full of fantasies and martial art was the best! The visuals, graphics, and animations were on point. Applauding the Art director! The costume designer and Xu Kai looked great in the costumes assigned to him. Xu Kai what can I say that I haven't said about you before? You are one heck of an actor, a dang good one! Tall and Handsome, I hate that you have to gain and lose weight, please stay healthy. The other thing I love about you is that you can play some ball. My cousin use to play for UCLA and ended up a coach there. He is now a coach for another College. I love Basketball! Enough of that! Keep doing what you are doing.

Episode 47 when you split in two of you, was so awesome! Whoever wrote the storyline for this drama gets a standing ovation. OMGosh, the actress who played Houchi/Shanggu, Zhou Dong Yu, this is my first time watching her and she was fantastic. Petite as well. I'm excited to see more of her in her future dramas. Where did y'all find Liu Xue Yi, wow! I'm impressed with his acting. Many great actors and one of my other favorite actors is Leon Lai, it is always good to see him play a great part. He was great in Legend of Fuyao and Jiu Liu Overlord. Thank you to everyone that made this storyline great!

It's a gift to humanity.It's a masterpiece in the Chinese history of xuanxia drama.

When I first started watching it randomly , I didn't have high expectations. I continued this drama by chance usually I just leave the boring ones and shift quickly to next one's. As I kept on watching I was astounded by the story and the development . It just skyrocketed. I was inside the drama and I could feel inside damn I have never seen or will ever see anything like this. The actress portrayed shangu's character so well that I have a huge respect for her inside my heart. And xu Kai expression was everything. I cried so much , xu Kai made me cry all night and all day. And shangu omg how can she smile like that and talk like that and see like that, that was next level acting , she just nailed the character portrayal. I know for a fact that in this lifetime Zhou dong yu was meant to do this drama and something inside me tells that it's gonna change her life personally. It was her destiny. I can't even talk enough of Gu Jun how he could make me feel through his acting, the loyalty towards true gods and towards shangu was just the most beautiful thing in the world. And the love between all the characters and the relationship was out of this world , ofcourse. And empress can't tell how much I hated the character, she is such a talent to portray the character so well, damn. Hat's off to each and every one involved in this drama.

Best Xianxia

One of my fave xianxia ever. At first really not that interested and felt like dropping it but im so thankful of my patience and stayed till the end cause now i cant get over on this drama. I also went to read the novel thank you to blizzardahm for translating almpst half of the novel thankyou from the bottom of my heart. Novel and the drama were both amazing tho there's a huge difference since on novel its much cruel and more angst than the drama. I also love zhou dongyu acting and xu kai and also tianqi. I love every character of this drama the ending is a bit dissapointing cause we dont get the moment we wanted the most shanggu and baijue getting married. I wish they had put on the drama on the part of the novel where bai jue died and it shows how depressed shanggu became. Anyways couldnt add anything more this will always remain my favorite no matter what.

a roller coaster of emotions and amazing characters - just perfect!

I so freaking love this drama. Everybody did an amazing job. The couple compliment each other perfectly. The contrast between Shanggu and Houchi and Bai Jue and Qing Mu are very distinctive and the actors played them really really well. I especially like the adorable faces Shanggu makes and the childish, innocent faces Qingmu makes. I love the bond the true gods share with right amount of banters here and there. It was really beautiful. I love how Shanggu plays the spoiled youngest family and her antics to get what she wants only to be played unknowingly by Zhi Yang and Yue Mi
at her own game. Even the villians in this drama played their roles really well. Jing Zhao and Xue Ying's conceitedness makes my eye roll every single time it's laughable. I actually hate them more than the actual main villian. It's a pity Wu Huan wasn't able to redeem herself in the end. I also feel like Jing Zhao should've suffered more for all her bad deeds but then again it's how she was raised so I can't really say I blame her. I love the soundtrack as well especially Zhou Shen's Ju Lian and A-Lin's Qian Xun. I guess the only thing I am miffed about is Dong Hua. But only because in my head there is only one Dong Hua and it's Vengo Gao as Dong Hua Di Jun.
I can't count the number of times I have rewatched this drama. Maybe until another one sparks my interest but for now I am stuck with it.

Nicee

A bit of spoiler alert
Its overall nice. I cried in the Qingmu and Houchi arc. They did nothing wrong but their story is very tragic. I somewhat hate Bai Jue in here but the reasons were explained in future eps so thats not considered a plothole. Thank God. First few episodes are boring. Bai Jue fall in love with Shanggu too quickly thinking that he was the distant handsome guy trope hahaha. I love Shanggu but her hairstyle in the latter eps doesnt really looks nice. I mean, there's room for improvement. Houchi and Bai Jue's son really has a nice attitude. Love him ahahah.
I love the cgi nd vfx! Very surreal.
Its nice all in all.
