Lin Bo is now an official at a different prefecture with Dong Qing by his side. Ling Kuan is also becoming an official and moving elsewhere. In the last scene, Shi Yi Niang is conferred an honorary award by the Emperor for her embroidery works before leaving the palace together with Ling Yi. She is thankful for her husband’s continued support and love for her.
