On their way, Chenghzi is forgotten on the road while they take a short break to go shopping. She later accidentally discovers a gift that Zui had bought for Jinxiao, whom he liked. Chenghzi promises to keep this a secret. Tan Song sees the two of them together and gets annoyed. He starts to realize that he is falling for her. Zui gives Jinxiao the gift and asks her to make a wish for him in his stead. While she is gone for the study camp, Ouyang leaves for to join the army.
