Shapeshifting aliens attack GUTS' moon base Garowa, leaving only Captain Hayate Shin, Lieutenant Kishinaga, and a subordinate named Okabe as survivors. The three flee to the Earth GUTS base, but it becomes evident that the attackers have followed them when sabotage wrecks the base.
