RIP

I want to believe that the fact that Korn couldn't sleep also messed up with his mind. He's right though. They don't need to be playing that audio to kick those genes. They wouldn't be in this predicament if they hadn't been mutated against their will. The shock factor in this episode is off the charts. I know I said I didn't care for the juniors (and I still don't) But I thought they'll do a little more than getting sick most of the season. Ok, Time did a little more but not that much. The schism between the gang is getting frustrating. Maybe the fact that they've developed their potential is just incompatible with them hanging out. I'm worried about Punn this season. Who's in charge of that preppy dude? Black eyes?? Also, he's sowing seeds of doubt in Wave's heart and now I'm sure Wave looks at Pang as more than friends.

This season is all about angst, tragedy, betreyal,…

This season is all about angst, tragedy, betreyal, distrust and all the other negative aspects of human relationships. And as so long the friend group will overcome these struggles and be together again at the end, I will love it :)Many are disappoint that this season is so dark but I like that its so emotional and loaded with dark twists. I was sympathetic with Pang when he had witnessed his friends suicide and I could understand his shock but then he found out his junior had died too the same day! Pangs break down was umderstandable and sad.

Technically well made but the plot might well be going downhill

With two characters being killed off (or so it seems--you can't quite be sure in this series), the plot is getting a little too dark and heavy for its own good. It's not that there is anything bad about this in itself, but it does not seem to suit the way the story has been set up since Season 1.Worse, while one might admire the gifted team's futile efforts to change things in Season 1, Season 2 seems bent on undermining the credibility of the gifted team's idealism and motivations. In fact, they are shown to be naive in what one might say is a none too subtle criticism of political movements dominated by young people. (It seems to almost be saying that the ideals of the youth are impractical and they need to be more attuned to the realities of the world.)Of course, given the show's penchant for plot twists, the current crisis in the team may well be a result of the covert machinations of someone like Supot, the director and villain figure in Season 1. But with the rivalry between the director and the minister being foregrounded in this series so far, it is not clear if Supot will be rehabilitated and turned into the lesser of evils (how is the plot going to get anywhere otherwise?). But this seems like an ideological sell-out.
