A flashback of their old times at school shows Fang Li and Luo Yan get punished as rumours fly around about their "puppy love". In the present, Fang Li realizes that she is starting to fall for Luo Yan, although he is indifferent to her. He goes through a few familial issues and she learns from his father about how he had lost his memory after a fight with a few kids at school. Fei Fei hatches a plan were she helps Fang Lin to pretend to have a boyfriend to gauge Luo Yan's reaction. However, things don't go as planned. Fang Li asks Luo Yan's advice to whether to say yes or no to her imaginary senior whom she was pretending to date. His rude response flattens her hopes and they have a fall out.
