If you're gonna ask if this is a sequel, it is not... In S2 there were times Xia Lin dreamt of S1 scenes, I don't think it's like a multiverse or parallel universe type of thing...*spoilers ahead (I guess)*
I actually liked S1 it's just that when everything was revealed I hated this certain character... I don't think I can forgive the person if I were in that situation... That was changed in S2 the heaviness of it toned down... Ling Yi Zhou & Xia Lin their interactions... the naughtiness (bwahahah) love that it is a lot this season also I liked that they added scenes for Wen Li and Fei their chemistry was way more showcased rather than S1. Chu Yan and Ruan Meng were kind of a meh for me...
Uggh I hated how much of a weak character Fu Wei Ning is (bad acting too?) idk but the director/producers should've picked Yang Hao Ming (Nan Jin Tian antagonist in S1) again, Ms. Jiang (Xia Lin's manager S2) was better as an antagonist. Also the amnesia scene ughh it should've just ended by ep 13 or 14 I was impressed at how Xu Kai Cheng cried at ep 16 though.
I decided to watch this after I watched The Platform well it did take away my attention from a very deep and dark movie,

why?
So, the wife is kidnapped and is with a bad guy and the husband just continues with his life? I was able to get past the lying, controlling husband, but a man that is in love and worried about his wife drinks and gets drunk at home. He never goes out to a bar and drinks. A lot of people go to bars to get drunk and hook up. And the fact that he let another woman fool around with him not once but twice a man that was truly in love would never, never do that. That was so troubling to me that I could not watch the rest. All the epic, grand gestures of love mean absolutely nothing if a man does this. A man in love wouldn't be able to eat or sleep in this situation much less go to work. Not this guy he out drinking and messing around with other women. He just could never get that drunk, and he would get close to another woman and then go out DO IT AGAIN? I am like the other person who opened an account here just to vent about this movie. Getting drunk and messing around with another woman and then doing it again? This guy is a total scumbag. When the wife gets rescued, she needs to divorce this disgusting playboy and marry his best friend.Cet avis était-il utile?
Ling was less creepier than season 1 and Xia Lin wasn't expressionless this time. It was entirely better imo. At least we have more looks on Chu Yan and his girl, Ruan Meng (tho I thought they could have done better) but overall, I'm satisfied. Jia Fei and Wen Li were cute, as usual.
In conclusion, it is a ball of cringeness, turns out better and this is quite a stand alone. You don't have to watch the 1st season. You can rewatch it multiple times too.

Even though most of the castings remains the same eg. MuMu bff - Jia Fei, Ling Yi Zhou assistant - Wen Lin and good friend - Chu Yan and even Chu Yan's father and Ling Yi Zhou granny and mother is still the same person acting in Season 1.
In Season 2 - Ling Yi Zhou does not stalk MuMu and of course the storyline remain quite similar as Season 1 which Ling Yi Zhou still goes all the way to win MuMu's heart. But over Season 2 - I dislike MuMu character as later part of this drama it shows that Mumu is a bit materialistic. I wonder if Ling Yi Zhou is not that rich will MuMu still falls head over heel for him?
As for the OST - still the same opening and closing OST except few new songs slotted in between the episodes.
For my comment are firstly they should not rename this drama as Season 2 since it's not a continuation from Season 1 as this will cause confusion to viewers. Secondly they should provide a sub-title e.g. Well Intended Love - Working Hard to Support MuMu instead of Season 1 and Well Intended Love - Dejavu feeling instead of Season 2 at least viewers knows it's a totally new story and does not relates to the earlier story.
I can foreseen there will be Season 3 till Season 100 for this drama if each Season has different storyline with the same castings!

I am also happy when I found out that there's a season 2 of it which is somehow an alternate retelling of the first season.
Everything got better in Season 2, the acting of FL and ML, the cuteness and chemistry of the main and the supporting actors, as well as the production design and the villains on this series.
The episodes are also fewer which is good since the people who have watched the first season is very much familiar with the plot and the things that are about to happen.
I like this version very much which is why this has a high rewatch value.

MICH BETTER THAN THE FIRST SEASON
This season was so much better than the first one, even though there is still a twist like the first one it's less scary. prolly bc it was already expected. The show definitely did better this time. They didn't have as scary of a twist.......
But....bro.....THE FREEZER SCENE 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
THEY ALMOST DIED
WHY WAS THE GIY ALWAYS HOT BRO 💀
"isn't it hot on here?" "God it's so hot in here!"
I don't remember if it said why he was always so hot but I remember being rlly confused Abt why he was so hot.
lolll anyways don't recommend this as ur first C-drama go for "Falling Into Your Smile."

All I read is that Season 2 is a remake of Season 1, only better. That seems kinda true, but only on the surface. During the first couple episodes, I actually thought I was watching Fei Fei's TV rendition of the love affair between Mumu and the tall dude. I don't think they did a particularly good job of that, but I think they may have started out with that intent. This gave them an opportunity to fix a couple things:Mumu dressed waaaay sexier in Season 2. I think this was the writers recognizing that the western audience needs to see more skin. I for one am thankful. I captured several screen shots from season 2.
Mumu's personality is more fierce in Season 2, and, given that she seems to have had more time to develop herself as an actress and as an independent woman, she just seems so much more confident and...adult-like than in season 1.
The kisses in Season 2 were made for western TV, whereas in Season 1, the kisses are more like poses. Two people standing with their lips touching, but not moving...AT ALL. This is standard fare on Chinese and South Korean dramas that I think is changing in front of our very eyes over netflix. I don't mind one bit that Eastern dramas are more reserved over the sexy stuff. I suppose I am a weird American for not really caring to see human beings simulate sexual acts. I like the fact that more is left to the imagination in the Chinese and South Korean shows.
Fei Fei seems to have been as disgusted by the Tall dude's Leukemia scheme as all of us were, so she softened that aspect to give us a chance to like him. Didn't work for me because I am hopelessly in love with Mumu.
Yes, the bad guys were worse in Season 2, but they were so bad in Season 1 that it didn't make much difference. I am sorry to say this to two entire nations, but South Korea and China: You folks are really bad at bad guys. Really bad. So I expected that.
In short, Season 2 was the cast realizing how much the camera loves Mumu. It really wouldn't matter much what the plot is. What matters is that she is on screen sharing her gift for making folks love her. Her naive optimism, self-confidence, and beauty make for a package I would watch regardless of the plot. Her character is wonderful, and that is what is great about this show, in both seasons. Mumu.

Can still watch this without watching season 1
I'm some ways this season was better than s1 and in some ways, I think s1 was better than this season..like the kissing scene between wen li and Fei Fei was better than s1 and the leads had so many kisses together as well..but the cherry kiss in s1 was unforgettable.. all together both seasons was not bad..Cet avis était-il utile?

It so bad, i cant believe i watch it to the end
To start, this season is like a spin off???? other dimension? They change what i found problematic in the 1 season. The leukemia, i like references things from the antenative world. But the series is bad, its watchable but bad.1)There was too much ADS, it looks like all the AD they couldn't get in the 1sr season they put in the second.
2)Second LEAD ACTOR has too much filter on his face it was unnatural, we know he has acne, it was a problem in the 1st, so why? just why?
3)MAIN LEAD acting got worse, there was a scene when his granny was in the hospital and he was "cryin" the body language was sooo off, he had a stupid lil face trying to cry. makes me wonder why happened off set
4)FEMALE LEAD, was trying to lie in one scene and i was so fake, how could the directors not find fault in that? how can an actress not know how to lie?
5) The VILLAINS made no sense, 1st it started as a in company matter to personal matter, but villains were mentally ill,i wonder if they are trying to say only mentally ill ppl commit crimes
THE 1ST MIGHT HAVE HAD ITS PROBLMES, BUT I WILL TAKE THE FIRST OVER THE SECOND ANY DAY.

Good story, good actors, great show
I got totally lost in the first seaso and couldn't take my eyes off it. So when I found out there was a second season, I had to see it. I like how small changes in the story can affect the story of one couple but still have a similar end result aka love. Not many Chinese dramas have only 16 episodes and so well done. I totally recommend watching both season!Personally, I couldn't miss the opportunity to see male and female lead again because they are heavenly beautiful and look great together. I would love to see other dramas where they star as they are both great actors.

Disclaimer: I have not watched the so called season1, because I have been warned about the terrible plot twist beforehand. (which makes it a 2/10 drama from the get go)---
This is basically a rather generic cdrama romcom. There is almost not a single new thing here, maybe with the exception of checking marriage license authenticity with amnesia. The chemistry is average, the comedy is average, the acting is average and the plot is average too (which means it's bad objectively speaking). There is also a rather typical semi-weak love triangle, though it ends very peacefully.
What makes this drama stand out a tiny bit from mediocrity is that it's a bit shorter than normal (12ep kdrama length) and so the plot is progressing rather quickly & there are no big annoyances anywhere. It's basically 70% fluff n sugar, which is something I always appreciate, even though the romances could not have been any shallower. While the villains are really poorly written and all, the fact that they barely have any screen time & fail to cause any big upheavals is pretty great.
One thing that somewhat annoyed me is that the drama has several very forceful kisses, but it's played off as successful seduction or something along those lines..
Oh I almost forgot, some of the product placements are just direct ad breaks basically, they start talking about certain brands directly & unnaturally. (Adolph Shampoo & whatever sanitary pads)
