The episode starts with a young girl in a kimono waiting anxiously with her father for a matchmaking session. Turns out that the young girl is, in fact, a high school student called Hana and is not the actual woman who is subjected to this marriage. The other party is her father's company President's grandson, Takume. When they arrive, the to-be groom starts mocking Hana, leading to her finally scolding him for his selfish thoughts. He is baffled by her fierce nature and arrives to pick her up from school the next day. Hana is resilient, but in the end, she goes with him. He buys her new clothes, eats expensive food with her and some of his childish quirks are shown. Takume is a cheeky, quirky, yet naive boy at heart, and Hana is a simple, honest and bold person by nature.
