I thought this was a romance love triangle rivalry between the AI and the AI- maker, and this is totally wrong. Never imagine that the AI will leave so much impression.
The story is much more complicated than you think and you will get a bit shock by it in a good way.
Overall, this whole story, the cast and the acting is really good, cannot find any flaw, and mesmerized by the AI technology. I binge-watched it on weekend in the middle of the busy schedules but still cannot stop me from watching it.
Yoon HyunMin, You slayed this project! GOOD JOB REALLY

Nice story but had a lot of usual tropes
Likes:1. Story tackled the benefits and dangers of AI and the consequences when used selfishly or for goodwill. It's scary to think that AI is so powerful that it can be uncontrollable. And that it can evolve from a simple algorithm to adapting emotions like humans. And humans should also be careful of handling such technology and to know their limits.
2. I didnt really like Soyeon at the start because i thought she was too pathetic to cross the line and start caring and even falling in love with Holo. But she ended being a great person and was able to be more herself.
3. Holo is a great character that he felt so real. I was as sad as the group in the end when he had to go.
4. I loved Nando although he did go the noble idiot way during the middle part of the show (and made the story boring).
5. The last 2 episodes totally redeemed the drama. I loved how it ended and how they resolved everyone's story.
6. I thought face blindness and childhood friends tropes again? But this time i was delighted that it was actually put into good use.
7. Nando and Holo may look alike but Yoon Hyun Min made them into two distinct characters.
8. Finally saw the actor playing the detective as a good guy! He always plays the mean character.
9. The super cute kid actor who played the young Nando. I want to squish his cheeks and take him home with me.
10. Good thing this drama is just for 12 episodes.
Dislikes:
1. Of course Chairman Baek!! I was glad that Nando was able to punch him once (i wish Soyeon let Nando hit Baek one more time). He was too evil! And Chansung finally had the courage to break his cane! (I wanted to do the same plus slap his face)
2. Soyeon and Nando during the first part were so full of self-pity i almost dropped the show.
Rating: 7/10

Could have gone wrong but didn’t!
My Holo Love is drama with many cliches that you see repeated in dramaland, but surprisingly despite the familiarity of the arcs it manages to remain original. Perhaps it has to do with the sci-fi element in the drama which kept things interesting. I’m glad it wasn’t longer than 12 episodes because dragging it would have made it a frustrating watching. Right from the beginning the pace of the drama was perfect. I also felt that the leads were really cute together and I wish there had bit more focus on their relationship. The AI aspects of the story make you question the ethical nature of such advanced technology and quite honestly, that was scary — to know that such intelligence could be entirely dependent on people’s morals.I liked the supporting cast, their interactions and their arcs as well. Another plus point was how they didn’t focus on unnecessary miscommunication arcs — there’s one bit where the ML refuses to disclose something to the FL but thankfully that doesn’t take too long to resolve. Dramas usually tend to leave a lot of loopholes in their final episodes, but I liked how they dealt with everything here.
Overall it’s a cute watch with some thrill and plenty of non-tech focused sci-fi (if that can be a thing.)

A show sold by the characters and the actors
I was rewatching I'm Not a Robot when this popped up and I decided to give it a go. Maybe because of that, I was drawing comparisons between two shows that consisted of a human being falling in love with something artificial, or seemingly anyway. But the comparisons end there. This show has characters and a setting that, by being less comedic, is more rugged and realistic. The characters are all sort of broken, and it doesn't take much for something to revert them back to their damaged selves. This is what they fear the most. This show was good at detailing how the warmth of human relationships can fill up one's life like decoration and although the plot wasn't very complex, it was made worth watching by two things: the characters and the acting performances.I really really enjoyed the chemistry between the lead duo. I really enjoyed their characters too. These are people who simply want to live quiet lives, don't have grand ambitions, but just are fundamentally good people. This is what made me like the show a lot.
If I have any criticisms, it's that the show could have told a story about how relying on technology as a crutch to compensate for absent relationships. I also wasn't sure about the backstories of some of the characters, but every show has its fault and I wasn't complaining too much.
I'd highly recommend this to someone.

I just thought it was going to be another robot/AI show which SCI-FI is not my personal favorite but I saw a trailer of the ML and FL and I was like "meh, this doesn't look bad at all" but it took me months to actually watch it. Lol. The story is about an AI creator that hides behind his project basically, the project basically is the opposite of how he is in real life but how he wants to be/expresses feelings really. Then you have an innocent and sweet hard working girl that really tries to hide out because she can't fit in. They cross paths one day, you think for something random but in reality, it was for good reasoning and the rest is history. There's an instant connection but you're like to who and to where so it kind of keeps you on your toes and there's people out to get this project as well so you're like WHAT ELSE IS GONNA HAPPEN, plus of course like any angsty k-drama, there's a bad past for both of them. lol.
I personally really liked everyone's acting. The ML did great with playing a cold character but figuring he's really not like that. The FL was actually really sweet and naive and did it well. You put the two together and their chemistry was sweet. I liked the sister and coworker, I liked when the coworkers were nice, the mom I adored, the bad guys were good at what they did. It was all fitting.
I loved the music, it was a great OST. Mixture of both Korean and English really made it. It's also on APPLE MUSIC. :D
I would rewatch it lol probably if I wanted a friend to experience it or a family member or something that has never seen a drama. I think it was pretty cool for a first experience.
Overall, it was such a good drama. The acting was good, the scenery was beautiful, it's probably a little heart string tug. I loved the chemistry all in all and for something that was so short, it was filled with such a nice and flowing story. It was good.

( p.s this is my first time writing a review )Originally I didn't expect much from this drama, I honestly expected it to be cliche and like every other robot drama or a drama where the main character has face blindness. After deciding to watch it, I couldn't stop binging and ended up watching all 12 episodes in a day. Easily this drama is up high in my favourite drama's list, and I would so so watch it again.
Firstly, I would like to applaud the actors. The chemistry between Nan-Do, So-Yun and Holo was absolutely beautiful. Actor Yoon Hyun Min did such an amazing and impeccable job acting both Holo and Nan-Do, how they both were portrayed to love So-Yun was ahh beautiful. The storyline and plot overall were, to be honest, a little rushed since this is a limit series, but it was all portrayed clearly and the background stories of each character were established with such a solid foundation, it wasn't confusing to understand at all.
Overall, I would like to thank the writers and directors and actors for making such a beautiful drama. It's sad that there are only 12 episodes :( but I highly recommend this drama! I hope this helps! Sorry if my explanation isn't as complete, its hard to describe in words how I felt while watching this drama. Oh and I rate crying quality; 10/10 <3
+ please listen to the OST's ( especially eyes on you ) it's really good

I enjoyed this but I will admit it didn't get to heart-fluttering levels. I think some aspects of the attraction was actually rushed and didn't feel organic but I liked it more later in the season because by then the sacrifices felt earned and not out of nowhere. I really liked Nan Do and So Yeon and their chemistry. What made this good was Yoon Hyun-min being able to portay Holo as one character and then Nan-do as another, not to mention Nan-do's attempts to portray Holo. A good quick binge, great SFX really heightened the story, too.

easy to enjoy
I really appreciated the way this show included tropes without making it way too cheesy. I loved the slow build romance and how the growth of feelings between the female lead and the two male leads really felt natural, especially for a character who has never dated before. I enjoyed the friendships between all the different characters, the sibling bond between Nan-do and Yoojin, and even for someone like myself who doesn't care about business intrigue and sabotage, those parts kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen!!While at times the plot got a little confusing, the cast was able to maintain my interest really well. I'd love to rewatch and get to see their characters grow and change all over again.

Disappointing for this fan of all things AI
7.5/10 is my rating. This is a 2020 SoUtah Korean science fiction romance with 12, 49-57 minute episodes.Han So-yeon (Ko Sung-hee) is a pretty woman who lives a secluded life due to having prosopagnosia (inability to distinguish one face from another). iBecause of her face blindness disorder, So-yeon decided to live a reclusive life. She finds herself in the middle of a chase where one technology developer is trying to steal cutting edge artificial intelligence/ holographic technology from another and the glasses used to generate the hologram are planted on her during the chase. It is not long before the lonely young woman discovers the hologram “Holo” ( Yoon Hyun-min) and finds companionship and feels love for the AI. The genius software developer, Go Nan-do is noticing Holo doing things because of So-yeon and decides to leave Holo vvith So-Yeon to determine the full capability of the AI. Nan-do patterned “Holo” after his physical appearance when she starts using the AI program Holo whose appearance is the same as the developer, Go Nan-do. In terms of personality Holo is warm and caring where Nan-do is cold and impersonal. As So-Heinz discovers that loving an AI means having no physical contact, she meets Nan-do who moved in next to her to guard her and his creation. Nan-do was a lonely young boy who lost his mother early and developed his AI to alleviate the loneliness of himself and others like him. Holo seeing the two people as more similar than different sets out to matchmaker his “friends”.
I really wanted to like this as I like artificial intelligence based dramas. I found the romance between the female lead and holo hard to believe. They seemed like good friends but there was no depth to the relationship for it to develop into a true love. More believable would have been for the female lead to quickly fall for the inventor who looked like the hologram she liked. Instead they had her hung up on something that could never be while the real deal was pining after her. It was a bit of a shorter series anyway and it felt like a lot of time was spent on the female leaD’Souza relationship with holo and little with Nandi, the real man. Thus their love story felt rushed and not very genuine. I would not watch it again and would only recommend it to those who like the actors from other things or who just really like all aspects of AI.

Better than The King Eternal Monarch
You may be wondering why I am comparing this lower budget series to the big-budget, star-studded cast of The King Eternal Monarch. The main reason is that I was watching TKEM and good so incredibly bored and upset that I needed something to cleanse my palate. I'm not even sure what episode I stopped at? 11 maybe? I also do not know if I will be going back to it any time soon, but enough about that show.I loved this 12-episode long series. It was the perfect length! Nothing seemed drawn out! In fact, I thought some things might have happened a bit too quickly.
The story wasn't original but I love a bit of sci-fi in my rom-coms. Some of the scenes did call for you to suspend belief. Like I know Holo is an AI but does that mean he can interact with anything digital? I don't believe that. The ending was great and realistic. A nice wrap up to the storyline. I had a issues with the storyline. Though minor, I couldn't get over how quickly the ML fell in love with the FL. I also was so annoyed with the FL acting like she had some sort of right to the glasses and making demands. THE GLASSES ARE NOT YOURS MA'AM! Lol. Also, was the AI that good that she couldn't tell the difference between the AI and a person? Sometimes they were so close together. No smell? No breath? You want me to believe that lady? Like, please!
The acting was great! I felt emotional when they wanted me to be and I believed the story all of the actors were telling. There wasn't any overacting and some of the scenes were really gripping. Be warned! You might shed a tear or two. Some of the scenes were hard.
The music didn't stand out for me but it was appropriate. I don't watch dramas for music anyways but I do note when the OST is great, annoying or just fitting into the background as it should be.
Would I rewatch? I don't think so. Even though it was a good show, I didn't get that invested in the different characters that I would miss them and want to watch again.
