I see this series has a good rating and has gotten some good reviews. I guess it's just not for everyone. If you don't mind slow paced dramas, that are mostly dialogue, you might enjoy this one. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend Kill It.

Now getting to the negative side of this mess. The story was amazing and gripping until around episode 6. I don't know what happened after that, but it got so boring that I found myself looking at my phone screen more than the TV. It felt as if the writers had no idea where to take this drama and they just threw scenarios together hoping it would make sense. Unfortunately the whole show was filled with plot holes and even after the end I have some unanswered questions. The whole thing was also very confusing at times.
Surprisingly the ending made me feel empty inside, which is a feeling I usually experience after finishing a drama I really enjoyed, but this might just be due to the way it ended.
Overall I really do not suggest this drama to anyone. Go watch Healer or any other thriller/action drama instead.

The story is compelling, the cast awesome and the ost ... I love it
It's so haunting
This is the first time. I've never felt so gripped by any other kdrama.... Well except for I Remember You.
So Hyeon, Hyeon Jin and Seulgi.....
This is the first time watching a drama for either of the otp.
But they sure have made me a life long fan.
There won't be a happy ending. We know it.
It's a train wreck, heading straight for destruction. And yet, you won't be able to stop rooting for the characters.

It Didn't Kill My Heart
This might have been the first time I watched a show where I know that the ending will be a tragic one. I don't like sad endings, hence I watch shows that are already finished so I'll know beforehand if it's a sad or happy ending. But I watched this show because the story will make you glued to your seats, and I'm hoping that the main villain will somehow pay for what he did. Aside of course that the acting are on par. The fighting scenes are nicely done as well. And the lighthearted moments will make you chuckle or even laugh. All in all, this is a show that will pull through your heartstrings.Cet avis était-il utile?

This is amazing drama. Honestly, I watched the first episode a time ago, then I stopped because I was just a little confused. But, I'm determined, so I gave it a try again, mainly because of the plot and Jang Ki-Yong. And I don't regret it! The plot is about revenge, but it also presents topics such as child exploitation in a disturbing and interesting way. The filmography is impeccable, the performances are consistent with the characters. A little cliché, but in a new way. Although the ending made me very sad, I believed it was the best. I'll watch again for sure. Cet avis était-il utile?
best action/crime/mystery drama ever
i tend to not write many reviews, but i've watched over 200 shows, and this one made me spend my time to write my third review.kill it has so many layers of depth to it that i haven't seen from many other dramas. our main character, kim suhyeon, is a killer with a humane side to him. he has a sense of responsibility to protect those who cannot protect themselves. he has a nurturing side to him while he was raised to kill and not leave any witnesses alive. while he got the job done with cold blood, to those who he cares for and those who are innocent, he protects with his life. his personality is what you would expect a killer's to be, cold and unmoving for the most part, but his actions showed his true intent.
the main female lead, do hyunjin, has a past that is way more intense than what the drama description makes her out to be. her being a ballerina really has nothing to do with this drama, and there's a big twist in her name and how she got it. i enjoyed how her background and kim suhyeon's connected. there didn't need to be a lot of physical romance between the two to know that they deeply cared for one another. hyunjin is a strong, independent female officer who puts justice first, regardless of who you are. she will protect as best as she can, but ultimately she just want's the best for what is just.
our supporting characters, phillip and kang seulgi, brought a smile to my face while i was stuck into a serious state for twenty minutes. their relationship with kim suhyeon was touching all the way up until the ending. seulgi is a girl who found her way with suhyeon, even after having a past with him that you'll discover if you watch the show (watch it.). phillip and suheyon's relationship dates back to when they were children, to me they seemed more like brothers than just friends.
the ending had to be one of the time's i've cried the most after watching any drama. it is sad as a forewarning, but it was necessary for the show and for justice. overall, you should give this show a chance, it's really really wonderful.
p.s. there will be blood in this drama and violence (you already knew that)

Great storyline, I think the writer did a great job of making the story interesting without it being boring. Crime dramas, most of the time, tend to be a lot to diggest, the writer focuses on giving us as much information as he can, which makes the whole watching process really tiring as you´re trying to keep up with all the information you´re given taking all the enjoyability from it but that´s definitely not the case in "Kill it" in which the writer gives you time to enjoy the drama as well.
Casting, the actors were perfect for each role. While watching this drama, I never once thought that a certain actor was doing a bad job or was doing something out of character, they portrayed their characters' emotions and circumstances really well, which made the storyline more complete.
The number of episodes, this is where many series of 16 or 20 episodes go wrong, they stretch the storyline as much as they can and had filler scenes all over the place, so I´m really grateful that here, they stuck with 12 episodes, while it may not seem enough, it gave enough time for the story to develop really well, and without dozens of filler scenes in between.
Overall, if you want a quick yet intense crime drama with great acting that will always keep you on the edge of your seat, watch "Kill it".

Nah
Tacky introduction and weak first episode that doesn't encourage the viewer to continue. While the rest is just your typical washed up OCN thriller. Nothing attractive or interesting about it. They could've taken the story in an interesting direction but that would be too much to ask for. I appreciate OCN cutting down the runtime but even then, it's still unnecessarily long and filled with irrelevant nonsense. I'm afraid Jang Ki Yong played the same character too many times that he fell into the vicious cycle of typecasting.Cet avis était-il utile?
We were left with one too many loose ends and although there was a lot of episodes “Developing” and “Explaining” the plot, there was simply too much that either didn’t add up or wasn’t answered at all. The only good thing about this drama is that we saw a glimpse past the ending. Sadly although it was a great concept and the ideas were there, the story simply lacked. Episodes started getting boring between episodes 6 and 7, meaning I had so much trouble with finishing the action drama. It actually took me 6 tries to watch and complete the drama. The drama dragged on far too much and would have been a lot better if they added some more flare to a few episodes.
In the end, I guess the best part of the actual drama was indeed the music and the actors. The actors were amazing and there was a lot of great relationships in the drama. The plot definitely had romance flags popping up, but it was romance driven. It was hard to hate any of the leading characters in the drama (except the bad guy of course). This includes the female leads. Every character was a joy to watch, even if they weren’t that innocent! The cast for this drama was extremely well done and there was a lot of great chemistry between each relationship in the drama. However, the drama was let definitely let down by its plot line.
The music was definitely a keeper and will be added to a playlist for me to enjoy later.
Overall I personally would not recommend this drama to anyone looking for something exciting. If anything, it would be a great filler drama if you were looking for a drama while you wait for the next episode of something.

Everything has flaws!
If you're into thriller, crime and intense genres then go for it. The romance is about 10% but I enjoyed it.
As you can see it's tagged with tragedy, so if you dislike that then the choice is yours, watch it or not. Oh and you will get a bit confused with all the names they'll be using.
Acting was on point, Ki Yong slayed his role. He's literally perfect. I don't see where Nana was lacking, she did amazing. Even guest roles were good. Especially the young actors.
For the music to be honest they could've done better, it's not that it didn't fit with the show it's that I personally did not like it very much.
Overall I love it. I would rewatch it again. We need more dramas like this. Very unique.

Lacking
'Kill It' could have been so much better than it is.Story line lacks depth and originality. Things just fall into place, characters just happen to meet each other. There is no proper build up and lacks credibility.
The main cast portrays excellent acting, however the supporting cast characters are all unrealistic and display cliche attributes. Rude teenage angsty kid to a misogynistic police sergeant, who are rude and disrepectful for no apparent reason. Its fair to portray these types characters, but make it believable. The story feels rushed and things are left to coincidence far too often.
Unless you are a fan of the ML and FL - this drama is a hard one to watch.
