Took a while to get into but loved it overall
I am a huge Park Hyung sik fan and I've seen SWDBS probably 100 times, which led me to Hwarang and The Heirs. I loved the American version of Suits and got so excited the PHS would be playing Mike Ross's character.Acting was top notch! PHS, JDG and the other actors (except for Ji-Na) do not dissapoint. PHS's acting was so different from SWDBS but so fitting and believable. I must admit though that it took me so many tries and dropped it so many times because it was a bit boring at the start. I tried it again since it's now on Netflix, while on lockdown and guess what, I enjoyed it! I call them my officemates. Oh boy I miss going to the office and dressing up in business attire.. but I digress
The story is similar to the American version so the cases are familiar. I also got annoyed at the start at how GYW made all those mistakes but it did tie up towards the end. The changes that the Korean version made were fitting for the story that they were trying to tell.
Don't count on a love story because there was zero chemistry between YW and Jina haha. But that's fine because I came from the bromance and there was definitely chemistry between Atty Choi and YW. Similar to the Harvey Mike tandem that I loved.
Overall, i enjoyed this series. I loved seeing PHS in a suit and all his facial expressions. I cried towards the end and the ending was satisfying. Must watch!

Why you ask? It's one of the best dramas of 2018 yet or probably because of Park Hyung Shik ;D Not only his acting was top-notch but he's super handsome as well. The way he recited all the legal terms or definitions left me speechless. I don't why but I just loved everything about him, including his trainers. lol
Relationship between the main cast (Jang Dong Gun and Park Hyung Shik) or should I call it 'Bromance' was interesting to watch. There wasn't a dull moment in the show and each episode held some suspense that bound me to watch further.
I especially loved the quotes shown in the beginning of every episode hinting a little about it. My favorite one was "The best way to keep a secret is not telling anyone."
PS. People who are interested in law would definitely find it more appealing.

For me verything about this drama was just right. The right amount of drama, love, suspense and bromance. It's not a drama you can just watch on the go, since it, in my eyes, really requires to be attentive and focus on the story - the plot twists are great. All the cases that were displayed were extremely interesting, and the way how Kang Seok and Yeon Woo worked together to solve all this and overcome even the biggest obstacles was just amazing. Smart, witty, savage, daring.
Don't expect this to see super righteous and honest, good people - the drama rather focuses on the fact that there's often a thin line between good and evil, moreover it makes you realize that rather than black and white, there's this unexplainable grey-ish mix and you have to find out yourself what justice means to you.
Apart from the story, I also really appreciated the high quality acting of all actors (I only knew Park Hyungshik before), and also the really great soundtrack. So overall, if you want a not so lightheartedly, rather serious drama, mixed with savage jokes and witty discussions (not to forget the great bromance), then give it a try. I really enjoyed watching it and even forced myself to not binge watch, because I wanted to watch it as long as possible. Now it's over, but I finished it with a really good feeling and I'd love to see a second season.

So far I am loving it! Korean version is quite conservative than the US (as to be expected lol!). Some cases seem a little huried understandable since US series is already running for 7 seasons while Korean vesrion will only be for 16 episodes - I believe they are only remaking the season 1 as most of the scenes so far are scenes that took place during season 1. But still I loved it!
I love PHS oppa!

(RATING: 10/10)
Sorry but let me be biased with this area. I'm a fan of the main lead actor that's the reason why. I think everyone would agree that into the eyes of a fan his idol will always be shining like a star. BOOOM! But honestly the actors and actresses gave justice to their roles. Great acting skills!
CINEMATOGRAPHY/EDITING
(RATING: 9.5/10)
I did not gave to much attention with the cinematography in this series because I was so caught up with the story. Sorry for that.
STORYLINE/PLOT
(RATING: 9.5/10)
I was not able to watched the original version but I do love this series. How the story went, the twist, and the emotion. I don't know why many people do not like this series. The series was good. Lesson wise, it was too perfect!
MUSIC
(RATING: 9/10)
I don't know if such thing happened before but I just discovered it now. This series uses some English song as a background music and I found it amazing. :-) Well I do believe that once we understand the meaning of a word we can comprehend it better.
LESSON
1. Life won't tell you where the destination is and it was not coincidence who will bring you there but your every choices.
2. They both drink the same water but cows make milk while snakes make poison.
3. Dare not to be a card in a deck but rather be the person who holds the cards!

I’m so glad I took a chance on Suits and really made myself stick with it while it was airing. No, I have not seen the original nor will I probably plan to. Yes, I’ve seen the original first episode but the atmosphere in the Korean version got me hooked.
Everything about this is stylish. There’s nothing I hate heck even the sandwich truck. Nothing ever felt out of place for me. While I’ve never had an experience with attorneys or law firms everything seemed right. At the beginning I did feel lost very few times but got into the loop figuring out the system.
Moving on from that fact why I think I still understood it so well even without prior knowledge. Well the show does a really well job of saying its end goal and actually satisfyingly achieving it. Every episode starts off with a quote and that quote is always never shoehorned. Also, in general that’s why Suits worked so well to me the writing was a premium stuffed rabbit(ha ha ha I kid). Every single interaction had something to link towards where Suits would end. The whole writing was like a puzzel that knows it’s intent (probably due to the already existing original). But that doesn’t matter what matters is how well it did it. One example of this is with Go Yeon Woo’s grandmother. Typically a show would just have her for sympathy but nor Suits. She played a important part in how the last episode goes and where the protagonist see’s himself.
Thus leading to the topic of the acting from these characters. All I can say is well done they made the attorneys at Kang & Ham feel like an advengers team. They were just that amazing. Some characters did change throughout rightly so in the best ways. Overall really no complaints the actors/actresses felt real.
Lastly, the soundtrack and yes sir it was great. Even the short tracks I don’t know the names of. The main osts fit the moods at certain parts nicely. My favorite overall would have to be Now by Vromance. I can’t explain it but you know when something just feels like that’s what this show is. The beat just felt like it belonged with the roller coaster of troubles characters ran into.
Some of you might feel my passion for Suits through the screen but I think it’s well deserved. I haven’t written a lot of reviews in the past few years but I gladly finshed Suits at 4am. And I hope many of you will/did enjoy it as well. (I didn’t proof read this sorry)
