Professor Meng rests after an attack by a stranger in the hut when she was going to look for some files, and after speaking with Fei Fei and Zhuang Rui they conclude that there is a spy in the archaeological team. Zhuang Rui and Fei Fei investigate the piece of plastic belonging to the attacker's camera flash to find out who the spy is. After finding the broken flash in a drawer in his hut, Professor Meng's student Ren confesses and attempts to attack Zhuang Rui, but is shot by the man who works for Qin Xuanbing. Later, Zhuang Rui and Fei Fei decide to return to Beijing.
