While I wouldn't listen to the soundtrack outside of watching the show, this is one of the few K-dramas I have watched where I felt the music was spot on for each dramatic moment. Everything was carefully orchestrated for each mood. The plot was always thrilling, with actual twists and turns that I did not expect. I would say that the justifications for some of those plot twists were a bit shaky, but I was kept from losing interest by the way that the plot actually helped to develop the characters, their motivations, and their backstories. I generally hate suspenseful dramas because they usually have twists that do not reveal anything about the characters, but this was a refreshing change.
At the most basic level, I would say that this drama's strength is really its characters and its acting. I have never seen a K drama make me sympathize with so many "villains" and doubt so many "heroes."

I just finished watching this drama, and it's become one of my favorite dramas ever. It had a few flaws, I would've liked some characters, like Ye Na, to have more development, or at least not appear only when it was conveniant to move things along. I loved the plot. Sometimes you find some things predictable, but this drama really managed to surprise me with every episode. I'd also like to say that Seo Kang Joon COMPLETELY stole the show. I really loved to watch his acting, all of his expressions, I think he did an amazing job portraying both characters and making you relate to both. Even the vulnerability, pettiness and jealousy of human Nam Shin. I haven't seen him in other dramas before this one, but I'll watch anything he appears on, from now on.
I also really liked the main couple. They didn't have a lot of skinship momments, but I thought the chemestry between both actors was amazing (to the point that I even shipped her a little bit with human Nam Shin at times). I also loved how their relationship was slow burn and natural and built on trust.
I would've liked a little more development between him "dying" and the time-jump, to see human Nam Shin cope with his mother's day and gain redemption. I also would've liked more flashbacks between him and Yeong Hoon, or Ye Na. I totally bought his bond with Yeong Hoon (and I think Yeong Hoon is in love with human Shin, tbh, they're endgame on my mind), but with Ye Na, not so much. He treated her like a lackey most of the time, was condescending to her, and even threatened to harm her to manipulate her father. I just simply couldn't understand what made her stick by him, because we never had any scene, flashback or current time, in which we saw Shin actually care about her.
I think the writing of this drama was amazing, and the question of what makes us human was nicely shown in each characters flaws and vulnerabilities. How we lash out when we can't process the pain, how we run away when things get to be too much, how we come back and try to do better and have to make an active choice to be kinder, to be better.
I really loved this show, to the point I didn't even want to finish watching it. And now I did, and I feel that warm, aching space left when a story you love finishes, and you stay lingering, hoping to see a little bit more.

I just got curious because my friend said it's good, but I remembered she said that "Are You Human Too" is better. Now I got confused Are they different? 0r just the same? Anyway, I'll find that out later when I see her?The first two episode was able to hook me up. I can tell during those episodes the gist of the drama except for the twists and all. The story seems good at the beginning, and it was even better in the end.
Seo Kang Joon suited in the character. He looked really rude when he's serious, and looked really sweet when kind. It was hard to play two roles, but he did it really great. He is handsome too. If robots will have his face, I'm sure they'll be always out of stock?
I found Gong Seung Yeon really beautiful ever since I saw her in Six Flying Dragons. I know I've already seen her before, I just can't remember which drama, but I noticed her more in SFD. Then she's also in Joseon Marriage Agency, where I saw a different side of her. I thought she only suited serious characters in historical drama. Her face is sophisticated and she really looked demure and classy. But then, she can also play characters that are careless and boyish. She's amazing 'coz she looked beautiful even still. Anyway, I like her also in this drama. I can feel that she's giving her all.
It's good to see Lee Joon Hyuk again. I think I saw him as a police in another drama. I remembered him because he's handsome. I liked his personality - serious and strict, but with sense of justice. I hope he would be leading a drama soon.
I think M City is possibl as long as human would not hack or take advantage of robots?
The whole drama is good. The story and the casts themselves made it worth watching. However, I seldom felt excited or thrilled while watching it. I could've finished it earlier but it made me sleep at night? I think that's the only thing missing -- the element of excitement. But, as I've said, it's worth watching though?
So, "Are you human?" "Are you human too?" Are they different? They're the same. ??? if I'm wrong, please comment. I'd be excited if they are different??

Without it always being her in the middle of trying to make a problem for the main character, there could still be a good story (if not better story) if they focused on how the main evil character used his power to get more unexpected people/characters to help him, but with her, they add an annoying aspect that I really dislike.
Look don't get me wrong, annoying characters are needed every now and then, but for this story and it's plot, it is not. If they wanted to keep her as an annoying character, they should have had her team up with her paparazzi friend and been annoying totally separate from the main plot and only show up every couple of episodes.

Sci-Fi, Fantasy
I came across this drama when I decided to I was going to watch all the dramas Seo Kang Joon has acted on. I loved his work on Cheese in the Trap and When the weather is fine. He played different roles in each and he did it amazingly well. Oh, his smile is to die for ;).Unfortunately, I had to drop this drama right when I was getting towards the end. I didn't want to waste any more time watching it, so I just googled to know the ending. I mean, Nam Shin android does not feel any emotions, he is a robot. But why did it feel sad when the mum was paying more attention to Nam Shin human? This confused me and I found the story line lacking as I progressed.
All in all, this is just my opinion and it is watchable since I managed to watch 28 episodes of if. The main leads had great chemistry and I loved how Seo Kang Joon was able to play both roles so perfectly.

Macaroni Noodle
To put it simply, the drama was not good. Selling a love story between an android and a human is a tough task on its own but the lack of chemistry and a functional dynamic between the two made it an impossible task to achieve. Not only the female lead was bad as a character but her inconsistencies pilled up more problems. Allegedly, she was his bodyguard and a strong headed ex-UFC fighter but she always ended up being the weakling princess who needed saving. I thought the drama might do an interesting play between the real guy and his duplicate android but the drama didn't put in the slightest of efforts in that regard. In fact, the entire narrative the drama went for was a load of crap sucking out any possible merits that might arise.Cet avis était-il utile?
YOU WILL GET INVESTED!!
Okay i’m not exactly sure why it says 36 episodes when everywhere I searched there’s only 18 episodes available ?? BUT, I loved this kdrama! The concept was sketchy at first, I was curious how they could possibly make a romance show between a human and a robot, like I get these dystopian concepts but when you think about it, how could that possibly happen when robots are easily controlled by humans? I was very scared this show would turn into her sorta manipulating him into being with her but they made their story beautiful!
So much development between Sobong and the robot, their romantic scenes were honestly swoon worthy but that might just be me cus I have a crush on the actor hehe…
There were some admittedly stupid scenes in the show, like how most of the characters reactions to something shocking happening being like 3 days late, like I get it’s shocking but, stop gawking like a statue!!! It was honestly annoying a bit but i digress!
I was a little confused why the villain was shown so mysteriously in the jail looking off into the sun whilst his secretary talked to him, it just feels like there were still some plot holes left in the final episode, also about how they fixed up the robot after being practically killed like…yeah just so much happened. Somehow in the last few minutes of the final episode, everything was magically in its right place , it was satisfying but from a plot hole point of view it was just a big …eeeehhh…
Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed this show, I wasn’t bored at all and looked forward to every episode. I wish we got to see the ML and FL intimate a lil more often— granted he IS a robot so maybe that was always out of the script but whateverrr the actors had so much chemistry with each other, I needed more smh!!!
It’s a good show especially for it being in 2016, I guess that year was a prime year for K-Dramas. Really good !

The Greenish Flag Male Lead and he's AI, he's so cute and loveable
I LOVED this drama so much, did not expect to like it as much as I did. I came into it thinking it was going to be a funny relationship between humans and AI and then I left with so many feelings of warmth for AI SHIIIINNNN. He and Sobong are one of the cutest K-drama leads. If I had the chance to pick a perfect super sweet AI bf, who looked as hot as Shin, then you bet I'd date him too. This drama was so much fun, you have to watch it with a grain of salt because it's not meant to be a literal/in-depth plot. Also, the actor for Nam Shin was so amazing, the way I hated human Shin, with a passion, but loved AI Shin. He even acted like a robot, but humanly, it was such a good performance.
It's funny how an AI+Human relationship had better character development and story, and side characters than most K-dramas I've seen. I would HIGHLY recommend this drama if you're looking for a fun drama with some serious tones, you're going to love the main leads trust me.

The last scene was the final blow...It triggered the destruction of my neurons...
I do not mind interspecies or AI or cybernetic love. Although this was too much.Maybe they could have told this story in the 24th century or so… The way the IA is portrait is completely nonsense, going from a rational machine learning to a machine with feelings…
STORY – the story is very messed up for me. We have a woman in love with a machine, a grandfather completely driven by power, villains that kill and do all sorts of bad things without being punished, a mother that want to sacrifice one to have the other, a spoiled evil man that becomes good in the end (maybe an upgrade was made), etc.
The plot is not well made and there is a lack of coherence in the way Nam Shin 3 treats and relates with Kang So Bong.
If we want philosophical dialogues and think about this technological future, we have the incredible Blade Runner movie or the short story: "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
ACTING – it was very good for most of the characters. I don’t think the transformation from Human Shin to the AI Shin 3 is very big, but Seo Kang Joon did a good job. That was probably the best of the drama. The casting deserved a better story!
MUSIC – I don’t recall any of the songs, so i don’t have much to say.
REWATCH – no. It was painful for me watch until the end. There are some cute parts, a few funny scenes (could have been so many more), but I will never rewatch this again
OVERALL – don’t know what to say. I am a man, I like rom-com and maybe I did not find any connection with the romantic relationship (if we can have a relationship with a robot that don’t feel nothing…). I felt in other dramas of this kind, but never in this, and I really tried.
SPOILER!!!
The last scene killed me! A robot with lacrimal glands?!?!?!?!
I do not get it! Sometimes the ending of the rom-com dramas is so open or with just a scent of what is going on. In this, the writer(s) put a tear in a robot!!!!!!!
