Ping Jing defeats 200,000 soldiers of the Da Yu royal army, accomplishing something his father and brother were not able to achieve at the northern border. Despite his success, the royal ministers persist in punishing him for the crime of not adhering to the emperor's edict. He spends a month at the northern border to settle the remaining military affairs before he heads back to the capital for his day of reckoning. Qian Xue and Lin Xi also head back to the capital.
