It is one of my favorite kdrama series so far, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
A truly impressive, highly romantic and hilariously funny Kseries ever. ManXMan is an absolutely brilliant, perfectly casted satire that should not be missed by fans of action, romance, comedy, or fun. It all plays into a very interesting and unique humor style. Expect non-stop entertainment as excellent humour is mixed with an interesting yet simple plot, heartfelt moments, romantic scenes and exciting action. The jokes are fast paced and relentless, without it being tiresome. I found it hilarious within the first 3 episodes and was laughing heartily throughout the entire series, but there's no denying that the action sequences are incredibly well done. There were so many memorable moments in this series for me. Hae jin and Sung woo make a great bromance couple, and have great chemistry together.I'm not usually a humor kseries kind of person, but this kseries really drew me in. It had something special, a love charm, a wonderful cast, and lots of action, funny cute romance. I liked it very much . My favorite character was Hae jin, I have known guys like him and they are always interesting. Keeping this brief, this is no doubt the funniest Kdrama I've ever seen.
The female lead was unique and the performance of Kim min jung was completely unforgettable (And easily the best performance of her entire career) Min jung played Cha do ha to perfection that I can't really digest her performance in any other K Series; she is and will always remain the doe- eyed, innocent, charming, super cute, hilariously funny and lovable Do ha to me. The rest of the cast are quite perfect for their roles as well. Romantic scenes are amazingly beautiful, I love it because of their chemistry specially dating and kissing scenes are highly cute. At first, Seol-woo kim is very rude to Doha, Although he treats her terribly at first, he develops feelings for her after working together and her proving to be more useful and caring than their initial meeting. They even get together within the series, which is often rare for Korean couples. Although their personalities are different, the amount of love and mutual respect for one another is absolutely remarkable.
It was surprisingly funny in an unexpected way and everyone in the room was laughing constantly while watching ManxMan! So just ignore all bad comments from pitiful dumb-ass nigga and go and see the series for yourself, because humor obviously differs per person. I loved every single aspect of this series. It is one of my favorite kdrama series so far, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It deserves even more praise and raving reviews.

A comedy set in the entertainment industry wrapped in a domestic espionage plot
A fun binge, opening summaries and predicts are clean enough for more intermittent watching too. Tight script, excellent soundtrack, cool cinematography with a sixties spice. A comedy set in the entertainment industry wrapped in a domestic espionage story with lots of corruption. The final episode is a great classic wrap-it-all-up ending with a few twists. There end up being 2 romances, one involving a love triangle, both engrossing. The usual weird English title points to another strength -- very solid, interesting relationships amongst the main male actors -- especially the ML, an international ghost agent, Seoul Woo (played by Park Hae Jin), with an action film star, Um Gwang (played by Park Sung Woong) and with an NIS prosecutor, Dong Hyeon (played by the wonderful Jung Man Shik).
I dont usually go for complete name listings in the interest of brevity, but I wanted to mention here that the strength of SK comedy depends on a deep deep 'backbench' of very experienced comic actors and crew who work together like a well-oiled machine.
This kind of comedy has a cringey edge like a Steve Martin film which wears away as you watch and as the characters, after the stylish opening, move towards more sincerity. The main OTP also definitely becomes more attractive over time.
What is your normal laughter range? Because this is not a slapstick comedy you will express yourself mostly in a lower register; my usual chuckle, giggle, or snort actually flowered into that weird satisfied noise SK actors make after drinking soju, and lots of continual smiling.
Poor Kim Min Jung is stuck playing a cutesy-mousey a-little-bit-stupid FL, who actually has an important job in the company but doesnt act like it. Anything Korean before 2018 (B4#metoo) is Dark Ages in my opinion, for women. In 2018 Min Jung plays a magnetic hotel owner in Mr.Sunshine, see the difference? (now/2024 she plays a sleek manager in the Hanyang inn sageuk)
But it is a comedy. Entertainment. Afterwards you will not regret watching this despite DOHa slow reaction times.

Such a fun romp.
Such a fun romp!.Maybe it is just very silly and something to watch only when you are dodging the real world. Howevere once I had watched the first few episodea I was desperate to see how it ended. The ending was always going to be a bit disappointing in a drama such as this but actually I did not feel let down.
Took me ages to watch as finding the last few episodes of the drama was very difficult. when i did find it it took over a month to download! Perseverance was rewarded.
Thank you so much.

Park Hae Jin! Unexpectedly Good for a First Timer like me
This was the first show of Park Hae Jin I've watched and his acting was basically what made this show to my like. His serious expressions transforming with his excellent comedic timing turned many scenes into pure hilariousness. I enjoyed some of them so much that I've been going back and rewatching for the last two days.I also liked the bromance a lot. I like how the Hallyu star Hyung didnt take this tough secret agent very seriously and vice versa. It was a lot of fun.
It felt like main actress and main actor werent in tune in the beginning tbh and I still cant say they were great together, but I appreciated the casting nevertheless. They looked real, I liked their relationship and I like how unexpected this kind of romantic relationship between these two people both for the viewers and characters as well.
I feel like Man to Man is very underappreciated. It truly gave me DoTS feelings. I'll be watching rest of PHJ's work in no time and will be looking forward to his future projects.

Infelizmente faltam-me palavras para dizer, o quanto eu gosto desta série.

Detail:
This is a fun spy drama, Park Hae Jin is good as always and he's supported by a strong cast as well throughout. Park Sung-Woong plays the comedic element fantastically well. Good to see another drama with Chae Jung-Ahn as well, having seen her in only a couple of dramas so far such as Suits, it was fun trying to figure her character out.
The story has a number of twists and turns, nothing too earth shattering - good enough it's a change in gear for the story, but not so earth shattering that it ruins future re-watches, I think i'd enjoy a second watch nearly as much as the first even knowing all the twists.
For me the last few minutes are where the drama forgets to put a nice full stop on its ending - the *story* is ended, everything concluded in whatever way it concludes - but I just didn't get the closure I wanted for the main characters at the end, made even worse because they appeared to actually be setting it up for a nice final scene and then just didn't!
Music - nothing earth shattering but a couple of tracks stood out and I found myself humming them to myself while not watching the drama so not bad either :)
Worth a watch imho!

This could have been oh so much better
By now, we've seen so many FBI/CIA/NIS/Spy/Ghost movies and series that it's really hard to take this Drama seriously. They completely missed the mark here. It could have been so great if Everyone was completely oblivious that K was an agent (a ghost at that) and we (the viewers) were the only ones in-on-it... but no... Everyone and their mother in this drama knows NIS agents, ghost agents that are supposed to be "Secret" agents.
If this is fake then it's hard to sit through and believe the rest. The beginning had something, but it's all downhill from there and the ending isn't great either.
I should have dropped this by the middle (ep 7~8 ish) but like a fool I stuck to it only to be disappointed and regret having pushed through to the end. Oh well, win some and lose some.
