The hostage-taking case that happened in the year of 1988 has a tragic ending, which created the famous quote of "being rich is not a sin, but being poor will not save you". Deok Sun's family is forced to move to the basement and lead a poor life, because her dad has lost his entire savings after he cosigned as a guarantor on a loan. Sung Dong-il is a poor but kindhearted man, but he feels sorry and guilty for his family for being poor. (Source: Viu)

The ending had me conflicted - I was laughing and tearing up at the same time! So now we know why Junghwan's parents aren't so harsh on the older hyung haha.

Speaking of Junghwan, we got to see some moments between Deoksun and him and I'm starting to sense the love triangle budding pretty soon! I'm shipping these two for now, but let's see if I change my mind as the series goes on. (But as of now I'm pretty biased towards Jun Yeol so hmm)

I love the friendship between the ajummas as much as I love the relationship between our five main friends (The talent show scene had me smiling immensely! Cute!)

Anyways guess it's about now where I'm going to have to start preparing my heart for upcoming heartbreaks and all...

Jung Hwan <3

Jung Hwan unexpectedly was the first character that caught my attention and I even didn't know how.
I was always happy when his scenes came and was hoping to see romance happening with him.
And here I go! I loved this episode bc of the scenes with Deok Seon and Jung Hwan!
I really want them to end up together for the time being ( as we know the Reply series is unpredictable, maybe I'll end up shipping her with somene else)
